Non-Lucid Dreams
I'm with Mom walking through the Vegas strip. I can see the Stratosphere behind some of the buildings and I point it out to her. She starts freaking out about its height, but I keep pointing more stuff out to her, like how there is a crew cleaning the sides of it by hanging from above with long washer brushes right next to the drop zone for the bungee jumpers. I want to go up there so I start heading into the building ahead of me to get there. Eventually, I make it up to the top where I'm on some kind of pendulum swing that moves out over the edge every so often. I'm kind of scared because people are falling off all over the place with no safety stuff on at all. Eventually, it stops and I get off. The people controlling the ride give me some tickets, I guess since I was able to stay on, and I walk away. Later, I'm golfing with a group of people on a very difficult hole. Everyone has hit the ball out of bounds so far, and I barely keep my shot on the course. As we walk along the fairway, people start dumping buckets of practice balls and begin hitting towards the hole. I join them but never get to hit a ball before I wake up.
I'm walking along the street in my college town with my roommate moving towards the university. We are planning to go to a Smash Bros competition and it's late at night. We head into the Agriculture building in the basement and start looking for the room. We come across others who are also in the competition. They have TV's and controllers in their hands and I hold a door open for them as they walk through. I start to see more and more people enter the building, and not all of them are in the tournament. It's especially strange as it's also late at night, however, I don't end up thinking more about it. A girl I know shows up and starts talking to me. I'm moving up a ramp to start walking and she follows, but gets stuck on the rail for the ramp that heads down. The only thing that stops her from sliding all the way down is her shoe that gets caught on the side.
I'm with a group of friends staying the night at some store. I have whole bed to myself that is right next to shelves of fragrances and candles which smell wonderful. Each time I breathe in, I get a different smell. The lights are off and I'm trying to go to sleep, but I hear someone walking around. A door opens near me and I see a man wearing a lab coat walk though into another room. I assume that this place is also a pharmaceutical store for this reason. As I continue to try to sleep, the man walks into my room,. In the dim light, I can see him holding something that looks like a giant Nerf dart. I try to not pay attention to it until suddenly, he pushes it into my face so I cannot breathe. I roll out of bed trying to get it away from my face but it stays pressed on. I try yelling out for help but it doesn't work. I get out a weak "stop" before finally accepting what's happening and then wake up.
I'm walking back into the water park I was at previously. I want to go into a VIP pool area so I head that way. A lady checks my wristband first to make sure I have access and lets me though. Once inside, I see a girl and some other people that I know already in the pool talking to each other. I get a running start and flop into the pool right next to the girl. She's very irritated at me and holds me underwater until I can move away. Once I surface, she yells at me that she was having a serious conversation and that I ruined it. I feel like an outcast and simply say "okay" before walking off and away from the pool. I dry off quickly and put some fancy clothes on for whatever reason and head out to explore. I'm walking through a large room with tiered floors and rooms off to each side. I peek into one room and find that it's like a dorm room. I realize the whole place I'm walking through is just a strangely laid out dorm. I stop exploring further because I realize I'm wearing a green shirt with blue pants and it looks ridiculous. I have to go and change somewhere. Later, I'm walking into a huge theater room with people walking around and looking at me funny. The whole setup is supposed to be a trick on me for some reason, but I go with it anyway. The building really is enormous, and I'm staring at everything in awe. A girl sitting near where I'm walking comes up and takes my hand and leads me around the theater area. Behind the theater seats is a large shopping area and we walk up some stairs to get there. We pass a jewelry store before going back down some more stairs and arriving at a bar that overlooks the theater.
I'm walking around a cool-looking amusement park that also has many water attractions. I get in line for one I've never seen before. It's a frozen pool area that's surrounded by a building. It's supposed to be relaxing. Around 30 or so people go in at once and as we walk across the ice, I do yoga poses as I slide along the ice trying to get relaxed. Everybody is looking at me funny but I keep it up until we walk to the side of the pool we're supposed to be on. When we get there, I start to notice the ice looking thinner. I mention this to some people, but it seems that no one is troubled. Suddenly, I fall through only to find that the water is warm, like a hot tub. Gradually, the ice melts away and the frozen pool is now one giant hot tub. Side doors are opened up for people to come and go.
I'm in my car with someone else driving it. I'm somewhat worried about the noise my car is making as it's moving as it sounds like the suspension is creaking. We are headed downtown to go to some kind of bar, but there is a lot of traffic. We squeeze through the tight street and weaving through the pedestrians crossing before finally getting to our destination and parking in a parking garage. We enter the building and make our way downstairs. There are checkpoints along the way that we're supposed to stop at and have barriers blocking the way, but we just hurdle them and keep going. Once we're downstairs, It feels more like a Biolife donation center than anything else. We are all waiting for a seat to be available, when people start bringing around drinks. Apparently, it's a sample of wine and it's brought out in a large chilled mug but very thick, so that the diameter of the actual volume to hold the wine is only an inch or so wide. It tastes really good though and I feel like having more. We leave the building soon after this, taking the same route back out. Later, I'm outside my house in the rain when I see a dog limping. It's soaked from the rain and looking for shelter. I run back home telling it to follow me so that I can grab a towel. I run to the garage to find an old towel and run back to find the dog sitting patiently at the front door. I let it in and start drying it off.
I'm in a club with friends and many other people. For some reason, I get into an argument with some other people on the floor above me and I start yelling at them. Eventually, I start a riot with everyone gathered around and they all begin fighting. I walk away as this is occurring and leave the club. The way back out is through a small restaurant which is completely empty except for the bouncer who says goodbye to me as I pass by. When I exit onto the street, I realize this it's one of the clubs that I know, but the exit is on the wrong side.
I'm sitting at a table with Trump and Clinton discussing the possibilities of an internship for me. They seem really excited about it and so am I. The pay in the Washington D.C. area is apparently 200 bucks an hour which I am stunned by. Before walking off, Trump gives me a fist bump and I follow a woman to where I will be working. She navigates through many hallways and finally reaches my work area. Apparently, it's with a game developer company that makes arcade games. All the games look really new and fun to play.
I'm in a bar/ restaurant looking to get some food. Apparently, they have really good waffles which they have displayed everywhere. I also see a strange combination of hollow waffle with molten nacho cheese on the inside. I order some waffles and sit down at a table . I had also ordered a drink form another place that resembled a Starbucks, but it had yet to be brought out to me. I walk over to the Starbucks about to ask where my drink is at when I see a wait list. Apparently, they're pretty backed up and they haven't gotten to my order yet. Eventually they do call my name and I get my drink.
I'm in an apartment with a few friends as well as one of my professors. The apartment is 2 stories tall but is also on one of the top floors of a high rise building. Something happens between the professor and a woman and he bolts out of the apartment telling us he's leaving with or without us. I immediately get up to follow him, but by the time I get to the hallway and find the elevator, the doors are already closing. Thinking fast, I look for the stairs, and start running down only to realize that I'm still on the 113th floor. I exit the stairwell on the next floor down and find the elevators again. This time, it's open and has the other friends in it. I get in with them and we descend rapidly. One wall of the elevator is transparent so I can see how fast we are going down, and it makes me have to sit on the floor because I keep losing balance. We reach the bottom in no time and rush out to the parking lot in hopes that the professor is still there. We see him waiting for us and he gets out of the driver's seat. Another guy I rode with in the elevator gets in to start driving, but I feel that he's inexperienced. I ask if he wants to switch out with me and he agrees. I'm driving to get out of the parking lot which feels a lot like an airport parking and drop off area. I have to maneuver between parked cars in order to get out.
I'm with a friend in a truck driving around a new quarry site. He doesn't like it for some reason so he's trying to be annoying and kick up as much dust as possible with the tires so it will blow towards the site. The plan doesn't work though because the wind blows it the other direction. Later, I'm in a hotel- looking place with many friends. We are about to do something but everyone is taking a nap first.
I'm with Mom about to go hiking. She's driving and parks in a parking lot in the middle of some beautiful scenery up in the mountains. I get out with the dog that looks like ours and we start walking. Somehow, I realize that Mom may have parked in a no parking zone and I ask her about it. She says hopefully we're back before anyone comes to give out tickets. We start hiking but the dog starts running off farther along the trail and I go after her. Eventually, the trail crosses a road and the dog has already ran across. I call her name to tell her to stop, but instead she runs back towards me. She avoids a car passing by and I grab her collar as soon as she gets close. I see Mom driving her car and pulling up next to me. I put the dog in the back and Mom tells me that she already got one ticket and they were going to give her more if she didn't leave. Later, I find myself framing a murder by cutting significant support off a giant tree. so if anyone goes in to inspect the body laying underneath it, the tree will fall. The ground around the tree is cracked where I had apparently cut some roots as well. I did this all with a small curved knife I'm now carrying. I start to walk away and see a large dodo bird off to one side. It's as tall as I am and just grazing on some plants when it sees me. After I get out ahead of it, it starts to charge me. I raise the curved knife behind me like I'm about to throw it, and the dodo turns around and retreats. I continue walking along a path that leads to what looks like a ski resort. I see the patchy, discolored snow on the slope and realize it's still pretty early in the ski season. However, there are still a significant number of people on the mountain. I pass right under a chairlift and weave through the incoming skiers and boarders headed to the life line. I head farther in to the mountains where I know the trail will take me somewhere.
I'm going on a road trip with some friends for a birthday celebration for one of them. We leave my house and are headed for some place in the mountains. We are taking 2 cars. I'm driving the first one with someone else in the other. Fragment dream that leads into the second dream I had afterwards.
I'm in a large bathroom with a friend when we start to play a game resembling basketball, but we're playing with a soccer ball and trying to dunk it into a toilet. I feel confident with my dribbling abilities and easily move around him to score a first point. Same thing happens with the second point as well. After scoring this one, however, another friend joins the game against me so it becomes a 2 on 1. It is more difficult to get around them to score, but I find a way and get a third and fourth point. On the fourth point, I'm super pumped up and slam the basketball into the toilet causing a huge splash to get all over the floor. I tell them that I'll find a mop and go to look for one. We are now in a large open gym, and I find a squeegee broom laying against the wall. I return to the splash to start cleaning when a janitor comes over. He mumbles to himself and says "what the hell is this?" not to anyone in particular. Listening carefully, I start to catch on to what he's upset about. It sounds like water is running underneath the floor from a broken pipe or something. A little later, I'm waiting in line at school to ask about one of my classes, but it looks like this line is for food. I go up anyway and ask if they can answer my question. The lady says something like "just relax", and brings out a pitcher full of an orange drink. I assume that it's alcoholic mixed with pulpy orange juice, and sure enough, tastes like it when I take a drink.
I'm visiting a building that appears to be a furniture store. All of the furniture on display, however, is torn up and ragged looking. The employees still try to sell it as if it's new which gives me a bad first impression of them. I get on a roller coaster that moves through the whole building. The rails and car I'm sitting in are all invisible so it's just me flying through the air. Eventually, it drops me off and I walk outside. Very soon after I'm outside the building, a bee begins to bother me. I try to ignore it, but it suddenly lands on me and stings me. I feel the sharp pain in my leg, but it doesn't feel very bad. Nevertheless, I overreact and start limping around calling out for help. Someone comes up and helps me pull the stinger out. I can see it under my skin and looks to be an inch long. It comes out with the same feeling as a splinter would. It turns out that there's two of them with the second one being just as long as the first one.
