Another nap dream which was longer than needed because I had two hours of sleep today and set an alarm for the nap, but fell back asleep. Glad I got my eight hours sleep anyways In my dream I spontaneously traveled to the Netherlands to go to the cinema with my best friends from high school (coincidentally asked me to go to the film today) we get to the cinema and joke around, there's this goth-alt looking woman who looks like a woman I worked with before at a tech festival as well as the woman who works at a bar in Berlin who's slightly disturbed and annoyed by our behaviour and takes me out of the group because she trusts me the most. We go to a private room and she tells me she's giving me access to the projectors in the building which are big television screens with her face on it, I get to access them when her eyes on the photo are at a certain position. I get on my phone and edit the settings of the projection, having access to a bunch of trip-hop music videos she's made. I walk back to my friends with a smug look on my face as if the woman took me to a room alone with her to make love to her, my friends all walk up to me like "What did you do???" before my friends are being brought home by a parent, around this time I got a bit aware that things weren't adding up as 1) my friends can drive and 2) it suddenly hit me that I traveled to the Netherlands from Berlin with lord knows what money and had no idea how to travel back. I go to my family home in the Netherlands where my mom meets me normally as if I still lived there saying "Where did you go??" Then moments before I woke up a "scene selection" screen appeared before my eyes that looked like like this: ----------cinema kinofamily home zuhause---------- As if I hadn't "unlocked" the other locations I then suddenly woke up and wrote all of this down here, that scene selection screen unironically is making me wonder if maybe we really are living in a simulation or matrix as it seemed like I was placed in a scenario, which I technically was lol Dream was in Dutch. Edit: this is what the "scene selection" screen looked like: https://soapdispensersalesman.tumblr.com/post/712976182053896192/today-during-my-depression-nap-i-had-this-trippy

Hypnagogic Sunday afternoon nap, I don't remember what time I woke up or fell asleep. Basically, I walked into some sort of city council museum type of building. The interior was made out of large sand coloured stone bricks, but not necessarily in a brutalist architecture type of way, more like those museum interiors. Kinda like the backrooms, but in larger rooms made out of stone. As I was walking through the hallway, I walked past an indoor playground which had no children playing. I then walked up this stairway, a black woman wearing a light salmon-crimson coloured tracksuit caught up to me and walked up the big stairway. The weird part was that the stairs just led up to the ceiling, like it ended into the ceiling you couldn't go up. The woman in front me had walked up the stairs, and when I looked away she was suddenly on the ground again besides the stairs. As if she jumped off or simply walked through them. At this point it clicked for me: I was dreaming! I quickly remembered this hand movement that the YouTuber IamLucid always does to check if he's dreaming and my hand went through my other hand! Using this rare opportunity of being aware that I was, in fact, dreaming but had not yet awaken I finally tried use this opportunity to explore the dream world. I'm pretty sure this isn't officially a lucid dream, but I was definitely concious. This is kinda cringe, but when I was younger, I had this imaginary friend called Elise. Now that I was able to control my dream, I tried to use this opportunity to get in touch with her and meet her physically. I walked back to the entrance of the "museum" and there she was! For whatever reason she was taller than me, but it was her! She walked to the washing line that was hanging behind her on the entrance and I even saw people walking by in the street outside. She grabbed a white bedsheet and wrapped it around me, then hugged me from behind before pressing me against the floor. Feeling her apply pressure to my head and back as she pressed me deeper into the floor I could physically feel the floor against my face as welll as her body against my back. I then slowly felt myself waking up. I refused to wake up, though which led me to keep my eyes closed in the same position hoping I could return to dreaming, it didn't work unfortunately. Just laid there for maybe ten minutes just visualising dreamlike images but I was too awake to dream again. Funny thing was that when I was pressed into the ground lying on my stomach, I woke up in the exact position, but lying on my back. It was nice to experience, though.
I sat in a Dutch train while complaining about remakes of movies, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, for example, but the idea of Zoey 101 and Victorious remake or a shot-by-shot, movement by movement remake of Iron Man (which I haven't seen) with an Iron Woman instead. The train kept randomly stopping and the announcer said that it might take three hours instead of the normal 30 minutes. I was getting claustrophobic feelings because you couldn't exit the train and every random moment the train stopped riding it felt like it was standing still for longer. To the point I started to get worried it will get hit by other trains on the same track. I started figuring out ways to leave the train. There was a man doing announcements in the train who looked like a Somalian comedian from Instagram, we joked that it was his voice that brought bad luck. Luckily I woke up!
Black void with nothing but a cigarette floating in the center and experience burning pain in my lungs. I've never smoked in my life, by the way. Possible backstory, I went to the club the day prior from 11 pm until 5 am and was awake for 24 hours at some point as I wake up at 5:30 for work. The club bad people smoking indoors and I was also hanging out outside where people occasionally smoked, sometimes the smoke blew in my direction so I probably accidentally inhaled some of it. And I have been coughing all week, it wasn't anything new. idk my dreams have been a little boring lately, or just dreamless as a whole. A few days ago I woke up and couldn't even remember going to sleep, it was just a long vague hazy blur before my alarm clock went off. My other dreams have been about my job, boring 9-5 stuff.
I've been feeling s little sickish and could feel that in my dream as well, I had a dream about work, and although I cannot legally disclose what I do at my job (9 to 5 office job), this dream felt like an official "first day" where I'll br doing yhe first thing by myself, but in the canteen. While talking to all other worker who exactly found myself at the same place I was standing at. I also moved to Austria and I met my only friend from Austria, or at least a version of him generated by my subconscious. I had this moment where I thought "I'm going to work and I'll be the greatest I've ever been at it" and that's when my alarm went off. It's almost as if they felt my brain waves lol
I can't even tell whether I was asleep at the first "dream" or just half asleep "daydreaming" just being relaxed enough to vividly see my thoughts as I was relaxed enough. First dream I was meeting up with an alt girl named Hotdogs and we went to my apartment. In the second dream, I dreamed about having apparently finished an entire song a recording a music video for it. The song in question was mainu sun 找路 by the Taiwanese artist ABAO. The music video in my dream was then uploaded to a YouTube channel, but they had credited the artist under a different name and featured a married artist duo whom had no idea that their song just got leaked. It wasn't my song after all, it was theirs. I then woke up. What I'm surprised about the most is that I was able to unconsciously remember the entire mainu sun 找路 song as a whole as it's performed in indigenous Taiwanese. https://youtube.com/watch?v=McJyHVT2hf0 I moved to a new apartment in Berlin that has a super comfy bed, but I have not yet found a comfortable sleeping position as well as a healthy sleep schedule in general which is why I haven't really had any interesting dreams yet but rather half asleep dream remnants. My alarm is set to go off in an hour, but I don't even know if I have any sleep left. On the bright side, my new full-time job starts today, which means I finally start to have a routine again after three years which will guarantee me going to bed earlier due to all contact and exhaustion, gotta love capitalism innit. idk why the girl's name was hotdogs either I should also mention that this dream was surprisingly in English with Dutch names and characters. I never mention language on here, but most of my dreams are usually in Dutch with some exceptions. But now that I'm in Berlin that might change to dreaming in English and German.
I was in the hallway at home, waiting for everyone to leave so I could go to the toilet, a high school girlfriend from my family shows up in our house because the family wanted us to stay in touch. I greet her and hug and we have some small talk as we notice both us us have grown. After she goes upstairs, I bunch of people are chilling in my hallway dresser in blue and orange parkas. They're film extras waiting for the shoot, but I jokingly tell them I thought everyone just had zero drip which causes them to laugh out loud. I then let them ask me questions and everyone excitedly holds up their hand, the first person whose name I guessed as "Levi" because he looked familiar (in hindsight like someone else I know, I know someone with that name but it's not him) who asked about me being German because of my family. The second guy I had trouble understanding, I feel bad that I had to ask them multiple times and walk up to them just to discover that he's from Belgium (It was a Dutch dream) and he was speaking in a very thick Belgian accent asking me if I would travel to his theatre play, I say of course as I've traveled to Belgium before and even all the way to Luxembourg. I then jump back on the bad with a crazy backflip. The scenario from my dream then changes to the waiting room being for a performance from the sound studies master students from Berlin, whom I've seen live in July. The performers in question come chill in the waiting room with us not knowing they have to get on stage in five minutes, they asked me about their schedule and I pull my my phone saying it's at :45 as I notice the time being :40 right now (Coincidentally also when I'm writing this) the performers rush ahead and my theatre school classmates and I walk towards the performance as well through the streets at the canals in Utrecht. As we walk towards the performance I brag to my former classmates about seeing them in Berlin. And they're all having this "he's talking about Berlin again face" (This has never happened in real life as I haven't spoken to most classmates in 3-4 years now, but is what my subconscious assumes their reaction would've been as I had this classmate who would always react to my online activities in person) This classmate asks me about the master "Oh so they were like 'Lets teach a bunch of kindergarteners some sound design' " then joked about them getting an assignment to make music out of an apple pie and later on a different pie and for some reason I was just responding with yes knowing damn well how disrespectful they were being but couldn't be bothered enough to argue. I then fortunately woke up.
Sleep notes: Yesterday, I got to be part of a dope project I cannot disclose about that was a ten-hour-long day, I had to wake up very early to get there, had a breakfast smoothie, and bought a sandwich at the train station to eat as lunch later knowing it was gonna be a long day. It was genuinely a great experience, but I hate to admit this, they treated us poorly on terms of nutrition; Half of the catering consisted of sugar-heavy snacks (Which I didn't eat because I recently quit using sugar) and there was an this weird sweet tasting water that was in a bottle previously used for syrup, that was the only "normal" water, any other option was either cola or sparkling water. There was lunch, but not until 4 pm, which consisted of a very small portion of food and between lunch and eating that sandwich at the end of the day I barely ate because there was nothing but candy and soda available. I ate my sandwich from earlier in the train home, and two bites from my dinner before going to bed early. Safe to say, I suffered a great headache as well as a lot of dizziness yesterday due to poor nutrition and lack of hydration. It's gone now, fortunately. Anyways, here's my dream: I believe I was at another field trip of some sort, the same girl from the previous dream and I were once again going to share a hotel room, we hugged and made out, but we were both a little drunk so we didn't go any further than that. That and I also had to go to the bathroom really badly and found myself going though random hotel rooms looking for a vacant toilet because why should I use the one in my room. Finally back from the toilet, I get back in bed with her and we were about to sleep when a guy I knew from theatre crashed into our room to give us a college lecture through a projector which was already installed there. As he asked us questions we answered and he laughed, his laugh (and in hindsight also his appearance) resembled Eric from Sex Education. A blonde teacher I cannot recall walks into the room and logs into the computer and changes all her folder names to the new class she will he teaching after the head of department from my old theatre school gave her the opportunity to teach her the class she dreamed about. I'm trying to listen to her story, but the setting of the dream has now changed to a classroom whose interior vaguely resembles that of a theatre and cinema foyer as well as the Eye film museum in Amsterdam but in a dark, metal colour. In the classroom sat my old classmates from theatre school complaining about how her changing subjects will somehow affect their studies, but they were doing that while she was talking about her dream class and why she wanted to pursue that which I wanted to hear more about, buy couldn't. I got up from my seat and stood closer to listen, eventually telling the class to shut up and only have one person at a time speak, this angered the class and they all started getting mad at me which didn't help my sensory overload either. They felt threatened by my presence as I was still standing between them and the blonde teacher, who didn't step in once, and my body language seemed defensive in an aggressive way apparently. Kids from the class get up and tried to pull me out of class, I refuse. They then get the head of department there whom I'm glad is here so I can explain the situation to him, but he angrily grabs me by my wrist and pulls me out of class then tries to find a vacant room, opens a random door in the hallway that leads to an unknown room. We sit down, but as we're about to talk, I wake up and can't get back to sleep to dream about something else because I was fully rested with eight hours of sleep for once! It was an interesting dream to say the least. The girl from the hotel room from both dreams, is a girl I haven't seen in years now and barely spoken to, let alone thought about for a year now, too. The theatre school part has been more common, though. I should definitely see a therapist about that. Because although this type of situation didn't ever take place in real life, there is a lot of unresolved theatre school trauma I personally still struggle with that still lingers my mind and gets triggered at the most random situations. Also the hotel rooms as well as the labyrinth of hallways were all pink coloured.

I slept in an uncomfortable position with my head between my pillows and bad a collection of short, strange dreams. I was working different audiovisual related jobs, such as operation a radio tower I was in a pop up bank in Utrecht Central Station, where a robbery started to happen and had people with rifles and RPGs shoot the place. I try to distract the robbers and make a run for it towards the exit, but suddenly wake up. I might've been shot and woke up or forced myself to wake up until realising that I was dreaming. Half asleep, half awake after waking up from that terrifying bank dream, I stare into the dark as my tired brain generates psychedelic visuals of a vibrantly coloured desert where I blow away the sand, and come across strange, colourful creaturesI had my theatre school graduation, my family as well as the women that did my hair were there, one of my family members was playing GTA on their laptop and I've been told my classmates and school walked by during an inappropriate scene from the game There were more, but I forgot what happened. A lot of capitalism-themed dreams, and I know exactly why :U Can't disclose yet but I'm happy about it
I have rehearsals for a theatre play. During lunch break, one of my cast mates shows a video on her phone of a rental bike getting hit to pieces by a car. She's laughing going "Who's bike is this?!" It was mine. The cast members let me join their carpool to get to the station. It's a car without a rooftop. During the car ride home, we drive past some tourists, one of them tries to cut a piece from my hair with scissors. I keep a pair of scissors close for defense. Another tourist comes by asking of we can take a pic where it looks like I hit him with a mallet. One of the cast members falls asleep on my lap. We seem to be riding through a desert road with buildings with colourful lights in the background. The car arrives in Utrecht, we take the subway which exists there in my dream to Utrecht Central station. After carrying the sleeping cast member there, they all leave the train without saying goodbye. As I exit the station, I get my phone and ask my cast mate of she can send the video of my rental bike getting ran over to me. In the meantime, I come across an old classmate from 5th grade who enjoys singing at the train station. He's upset because the bike he had since he was little has been stolen, I suggest the idea making a Facebook post, but he refuses. We go to his student flat and I join in on all the banter. Apparently they stuffed their toilet with cotton balls and haven't been able to flush it since. They hold a contest who can flip the chairs the coolest. Everyone finally goes to sleep and I sleep in the guest bed next to the clogged toilet which still got used in the meantime and I could smell it. I fall asleep there and woke up for real as if I just transferred worlds. Even at the end of the dream, I was still trying to reach that girl regarding the rental bike video, glad to see that even in my dreams, I got my priorities straight.
I went on a bus ride with a bunch of obstacles. It starts off at the train station where I see my friend, who's a model, and his friend stopping someone whose leaning forward as they're trying to end it all because they're struggling with their identity. I get uncomfortable and start running back home, I hear a Dutch YouTuber whom I occasionally watch talk in his podcast as he's talking the person at the train station out of it. It starts getting dark and stormy when I think I'm walking into the street home until I check Google Maps which, after it keeps moving around due to the raindrops on my screen, finally shows me that I ended up on a random island on the opposite side of the direction home. A bus then stops in front of me, it's my friend's theatre coach sitting in one of those small buses I took twice when I was in Leusden. Also reminds me of those special education buses from when I was younger. He told me that he's going to Utrecht and that I can join them, saying I'd have to pay half of my bus fare. I enter the bus in the front seat as he starts driving off. The bus is full with students. We enter this neighborhood in Kanaleneiland (very similar to the route of my special education bus commute now that I think about it) where we see a bunch of children playing on the street, the community police officers move the first children away, but a bunch of stubborn children stay on the road, even after the bus driver honked. The bus driver then carefully drives past every child like a game of Frogger. After getting out of that neighborhood, we drive through a difficult forest path without any roads. Things go smooth until we end up having to cross a lake in which the bus drives straight into the water. The bus driver then asks me to help him kick the windshield off. After several attempts, the water pressure does the job for us as the bus slowly sinks into the lake. We then defy the law of physics by moving our weight to the back of the bus and balance out the amount of water in the bus in order for us to drive forward. A fat kid stands up from his seat (the bus driver and I were the only ones doing things) and joins us as he goes to the back of the bus to balance the weight. I then get out of the bus and push the bus from behind and it successfully drives out of the lake. Another passenger joins me to save a small trailer that contained a basket full of pets that was attached to the bus. (Why the basket with pets wasn't just in the bus itself is beyond me. We recover the basket and get back in the bus where we stop by a student dormitory, we drop off all the cats and hamsters that were in the basket and reunite them with their owners and families. All the pets from the bus ride are nervously shaking from the extreme bus ride. I then ask if this was the final destination to which the students look at me with a smug face and tell me there's more. Unfortunately for them, I woke up.
Two dudes watch a sitcom, there's a scene of a kid bribing his teachers to graduate early which he successfully does. The dudes visit the set as the teacher hands a bag of cookies the child baked, then handed another bag saying "don't eat those, he likes being creative" *canned laughter* The dudes consider giving the cookies to the YouTubers analysing sitcoms in full length video. As they eat the normal and "creative" cake, they realise they's no fourth wall as they are stuck in a sitcom themselves, what happens next is a series of crazy events in the style of 2000s Wayans/Scary movie/stoner films as the dudes travel through Berlin using taxis and eventually it pans to the sky as they're on a flying train. They then end up at an hotel talking to a woman who rejects them, I see this happen and walk through the hotel lobby, going back realising I had left my phone behind which I couldn't find anymore.
I discover a supermarket across the tracks that has a cafe with interactive entertainment and performances, it becomes my to-go spot. My friends and I go there and the cafe has a trampoline-bungee jump performance that requires both performers and crew members behind the open curtains to keep balance and share weight. It looks nice, but apparently everyone behind the scenes gets frustrated and starts audibly yelling at each other, some friends and I get on a unused trampoline to distract the audience. My high school friends and I eat at our table after the performance. My friend who is a calm guy walks up to the counter talking to the women working there, I can't understand what he's saying until he gets frustrated and angrily calls the women "fortune tellers" which made me smirk as they wearimg "spiritual"-like outfits. My other friends and I get up knowing we're about to get kicked out. The staff compliments us for how quickly we managed to sign out as guests on the computer by the entrance. Now calmed down, my friend told the staff that he was dissapointed that the cafe doesn't offer hosuden, which are appartently the remedy for his allergies as he said his dog could smell it when he walks with him. Meanwhile, I struggle to get my two jackets on.
This dream occurred in the last week of my artist residency in Berlin, I don't recall the exact day anymore as I kept procrastinating on writing it down here, but it was a few days before the opening. My colleagues and I were put in a psych ward and constantly trying to escape, but every attempt would lead us back into the psych ward. As this was happening the artist who provided us with guidance also appeared in that dream sitting at a table, drawing with crayons; "You guys hate this? I love this!" The funny part about that was that he would say something like that in real life as well. I haven't thought much of this dream other than it being funny or possibly some "panic dream" about the opening coming closer and us not being finished with the exhibition at the time (It turned out incredible!) until I saw this scene from the Chaos;Head gameplay that I have been watching, and now I'm wondering if the dream of the psych ward wasn't a dream, but rather the reality whereas the entire artist residency was nothing more than a delusion (C;H spoiler alert) I just looked at the emoticons how y2k :voodo o:: vampire::sunflo wer: :sleepmedit ate2: :dr ink::cook iemonster::par apet::s martie::imsl ow::hi jack::gat or::loc k::se eker:: tardis::nyt acodance::dreamercha ir: dopeness what is Cool Spot doing here nah but fr I'm fine it was just a funny dream and coincidence no worries :U
I get invited to the tour of a Belgian rapper/producer to perform a remix of his track life on my SP404 without any rehearsals, live in the fancy concert venue which is a nice stage in the other floor of a cheap chickenpox noodle soup restaurant. I started dancing on stage after his song started earlier than expected because his girlfriend fainted live on stage during her performance.
