Dusskee Dreamscapes

The space was dark and familiar, a place often experienced when lucid too soon into sleep. I can't recall myself reality checking or having that eureka 'I'm dreaming!' moment. There was full awareness that I could not be hurt by the barely lit entity trying to coax me out of the shadows. I wrote this in my physical journal:

"Step into the light," said he
of shifting shapes and venom teeth.
"Let us know the shape and sound
In which YOU'RE wrapped this time round."
Deeper into murk I melt.
Trust is nowhere to be felt.
