Turquoise Dreams

Just remembered this while reading an article about carrying weapons.

I'm in a large house, second story, last room. Someone is comming in the hallway, whisper-yelling at me "get your gun, get your gun", somebody is in the house. I try to tell her to hide, while I'm walking in the hallway to next room on the right, where my gun is. But I already hear the gunman coming upstairs, hollering "show yourself now, or I'm gonna start killing people".

I know we have no time to hide or get my gun, so I put my hands up and tell him "i'm coming out, don't hurt anybody".

Moral of the story: If you have a gun, have in on you, ffs.
