Fragment 1: We had left the boys with a baby sitter at church, and went to a social event with my husband's fraternity. It was getting too late, and I had no control over when we would return since I had not driven and could not persuade others to return - we had carpooled with a larger group.

Fragment 2: A dream just out of reach of recall. This was the dream I woke from. Some contradiction? Uneasy dream?
