In this dream I was preparing some letters written for my son by his grandmothers and laying the letters and some presents out for my son in his classroom for some kind of a show and tell.

To my horror I noticed that one of his grandmothers had used an inappropriate word in the letter. I contemplated what to do: should I leave the letter here or take it. I looked back at the letter after having looked away, and the inappropriate word had changed into something benign. Instead of realizing that this was a reality check and that I was dreaming, I was relieved that the letter did not say anything inappropriate after all, and I figured I must have misread it before.

I was a bit disturbed that all the presents were pillows and nothing more exciting, but I figured I could not fix what his grandmas chose to give him.
