Dream No. 471 - Separated Sections

Dream 471 A - Apocalyptic Talk
I don’t remember much about this dream. From what I can remember, the consistent theme about all scenes is that my mum was scaring me and brother with all this talk about the end of the world. For one of the scenes, me and my mum were in Target and she was constantly flapping her jaws about how she knew the end was coming and all the supposed evidence that she had. That’s all I can remember about this dream.

Dream 471 B - Please Put Your Jacket On
The dream started with my parents and I situated on the freeway in some strange setting that I can’t describe. The time of day was in the evening, being very close to nightfall. I also noticed that the weather wasn’t very good as it was very windy. Apparently, we were going to our holiday but then dream made it look like we were driving back from the destination.

We ended up in Dandenong in the outside car park in front of this charcoal chicken shop. It was me, my mum and my grandma that went inside, ordering the food that we wanted to eat before we would go away on our family holiday. The dream made it so that all of sudden, we already ordered the chips but we still had to order the chicken. As my mum and grandma were ordering the chicken at the counter, I couldn’t stop eating all the chips out of all the boxes and soon realised that I would be too full to eat actual dinner because I had filled up on nothing but chips.

It was now night time and I was wandering off by myself in what seemed to be an unknown shopping complex in the centre of Dandenong. Strangely, I saw one of my mum’s friends there but she was ignoring me. This place had no real orderly sequence to it at the moment as I ended up in some really dark, almost pitch black area, a deserted area with no shops. Apparently, my mind was telling me that this was level 3 and the only way to get down to the level 2 shops was to take the elevator. I was terrified at the thought but knew I had no other option.

So then I started slowly wandering about and calling for 18-Volt. I noticed my tone was also very calm rather than stressed. I stuck my head around a corner as I very clearly and concisely called “18-Volt!”. It seemed that 18-Volt had successfully suddenly appeared out of nowhere, in his Game and Wario – Gamer cover art style but there was a massive problem… He was naked!! Thank goodness the dream didn’t show him below his waist.

I didn’t know what to think. I stood there, paralysed in a state of sheer discomfort and awkwardness. I could tell just by 18-Volt’s facial expression (he didn’t talk at all in this dream) that he was confused as to why I wasn’t excited by his presence and wasn’t racing to pounce on him. He must have realised as he slowly came right up to me, bent right down, and picked me up, securely pressing me to his body as he now carried me. I put my arms around his neck so I would stay secure but my arms wouldn’t stay there. As his back was extremely oily, my hands would keep detaching from their locked position and keep sliding off.

I couldn’t bare to see him naked anymore and so I closed my eyes, my hands had slipped off but he was holding me very tightly, tighter than usual, so I didn’t need to do anything with my hands anymore; rather, I tucked them down in between my body and his. The dream then played in third person mode. Rather than 18-Volt going into the elevator, he headed for the new, now obvious stairs. Rather than walking down the stairs though, he flew to the furthest end of the hole and dropped down really fast, trying to simulate the motion of an elevator going down. Of course, my eyes were closed and so I didn’t notice his change of plan.

The dream now showed us on the bottom floor, which looked completely different to when I entered the place myself. It was now a carpet area and there was light coming through the windows, so it was now in the middle of the day. I was shown standing in front of 18-Volt as I spoke to him. I asked him “Can we have another go?” and he nodded his head but then I added, “Before we do though, can you please put your jacket on?”. Just as 18-Volt was getting ready to walk away and get dressed, I woke up.
