Dream No. 636 - Private Apartment Complex

I don’t remember much about this dream. From where I do remember, my university friend RV was over at my house and we were currently in my bedroom. I made a suggestion to her about going to the Glen Shopping Centre and that’s when the scene changed. However, I was at the shopping centre by myself. Some parts of it looked it does in real life and other parts of it looked different. I had in mind that I wanted to get McDonalds; at times the dream made me think I was getting it for breakfast and at other times, for an early dinner instead.

I strayed aside from the main shopping corridor and I seemed to enter some sort of luxe looking foyer of an apartment complex. The room was round and in the centre was a set of spiral stairs, on the edge of the room a block of elevators, leading to a set of what seemed like exclusive, private apartments. The dream camera then shifted, for a few seconds, to the entry door on the upper floor. It was a frosted door and it had a sign on it saying “MFF 2019” which a small picture of a clipart dog on it. The dream camera then showed some of the people lingering inside the room, I knew it was the large group of ‘American furries’ that Edward (Ed) B was also involved in.

This is the first out of two instances in the dream that I was in the little green (more light spearmint-green) round foyer. It kind of felt like I was just inspecting the space and seeing what was in there. A bit later on, I was back in the main part of the shopping centre, still by myself again though, and now I decided to have a look at some of the fashion stores that were around. Items in the stores seemed to be way fancier and of much better quality that what they sell in real life.

Later on in the dream, I seemed to be going back towards the apartment foyer area. The dream camera showed a sub-scene of one of my high school teachers, Ms. K, locking up the place. There was this energy coming from her, that she was like the custodian of the complex. But then it wasn’t just a lock up for the night. It seemed to be a lock-up because people were no longer allowed to visit the apartments for some sort of privacy reasons. There was even a sign on the elevators, above chains crossed over the doors, saying that the MFF 2019 members would have access to a different set of elevators that were somewhere in the depths of the lobby corridors. The entry to the stairs was also chained.

Then the dream scene went back to me, entering into the foyer again. I seemed to be confused; I didn’t know what was going on but then when I was in the foyer, I saw and noticed that they were no longer allowing anyone else except residents. I was now very slow, anxious and fidgety, walking around the foyer, hoping that I wouldn’t be caught out by Ms. K; for the whole scene, I felt as if I had done something wrong.

At one point, I walk nearly to the end of the circle and I look sideways, seeing a door to a common room on the same floor. I see Ms. K in the doorway but her back is turned and my heart starts pounding, yet I couldn’t move, I stood still, frozen and shaking. I then also noticed that Ed was sitting towards the doorway, so he was a bit closer to me than Ms. K, Ed was wearing a dark grey t-shirt with a light grey cap. I was also scared that if Ed turned around, he would get angry at me and something bad would happen.

Ed’s head slowly started turning and just like I was with Ms. K, I was scared for my life. He then actually got up off the ground but as that was happening, there seemed to be a complete surge of different energy coming from Ed. Although I should not have been in the foyer, he seemed to understand and know that my intention was not on purpose. So rather than being told to leave like I initially expected, Ed gently put an arm around me and slowly walked me out, his disposition and energy telling me to be at peace and carry on with my time at the shops rather than getting upset. The last scene of the dream showed me and RV walking around the shops and finally getting our McDonalds with a small packet of fries in my hands. The dream then ended.
