Dream No. 266 - Separated Sections

    Dream 266 A - An Unusual Encounter
I don't remember how the dream started. From where I do remember, I was walking around my current house. When I was outside in the front yard, I saw my deceased grandfather. After just blankly staring at him for a few seconds, I started screaming as I always do when I see him with an alive illusion. As always, I also thought he was going to hurt me. Now this time, he notices me and calmly tells me to stop screaming and then he comes up and hugs me?

As awkward and shocked as I still felt, I managed to calm down enough to actually speak to him this time. I said to him, "I want you to meet my dream guide". He asked me who it was and I said “Dreamy WB”. I don't think he got that as he gave me some strange look. I then thought I'd use her alternate name and so I go to him with gestures, “Miss T”. He must have understood that as he repeated her name but with a lot of mumbling. I corrected him, again saying “Miss T”. This time, he pronounced it correctly.

I went off to call her but I couldn't seem to get her any time soon. At first, I went up and down the court but she wasn't anywhere. After that, I actually roamed the suburbs of Mulgrave and Scoresby to find her, still calling out, “Dreamy WB!”. At one point, my mum was near me and so I changed the calling to “dream guide!”. The dream guide goose chase eventually led me to Stud Park shopping centre and it was now night time and slightly cold weather. I was puffing and panting and for the first time ever, I said “Dreamy WB, this isn't funny...”. What was I thinking? Maybe I was thinking that I was keeping my deceased grandfather waiting.

I returned to the house with no luck but still had my eyes peeled in case she finally decided to turn up. When I got back onto the driveway, I just looked at my deceased grandfather but didn't say anything. The intentional thought dialogue in my head was “Sorry I can't find my dream guide, I really wanted you to meet her”. My deceased grandfather never got his violent look back and rather remained gentle and peaceful which I find absolutely bizarre.

In the meantime, there is now a parade of all these video game characters coming up the court and past the driveway. Apparently it was a thank you for all the service I had done for them. I recognised Super Mario and his friends, and then there was Spyro and heaps of others. The last group to come up the court were Sly, Bentley and Murray. For some reason, I was thinking that Dreamy WB would be parading in after the Cooper gang but my expectation was cut when I found myself on the verge of waking up.

    Dream 266 B - Shopping Centre Modifications
I don't remember much of this dream. From where I do remember, I was at Stud Park shopping centre with my mum but it was a lot bigger than I remembered it and it was now multi-storey rather than just one. I then saw all these new stores around and I told my mum that the shopping centre is actually undergoing renovations as well as a major extension. For the majority of the dream, I took my mum around to explore all the areas. That's all I can remember about this dream.

    - None

In hindsight, I think the reason why Dreamy WB didn't show up in the first place is because she was already influencing my grandfather, hence why he demonstrated an unexplainable, calm behaviour instead of the typical violent mindset.
