Dream No. 117 - Separated Sections

Dream 117 A - Stack 'Em High (Lucid Dream 7)
I forgot how I became lucid but I knew I was lucid because I was always consciously aware of things. I was in a small storeroom with this large filing cabinet of three levels. On the third level, there was some nest with one egg inside it. I was ambitious about getting the egg out of that nest for some reason. The first thing I did was call for Dreamy WB.

She entered the storeroom very quickly after I called. First, she ended up giving me the biggest hug ever in dream history and I am not joking when I say this. In the dream, I said that hugging her was like hugging a really soft sponge... We hugged for quite a long time. Then she helped me by lifting me up to the nest. It's like she was partially lifting me and still hugging me at the same time. Still, I couldn't reach it. So then Mr. B came in and he lifted Dreamy WB up. So the chain was now Mr. B on the ground, then Dreamy WB, then me who this time, successfully got the egg. I don't remember what happened after that.

      Dream 117 B - Demolished Grounds
I came to Killester for a visit and my main objective was to look for WB. As I made my way to the quadrangle area, most of the place looked destroyed like a mini world war 3 had broken out. Additionally, there were these metal wire construction fences blocking off some areas, including the walkway from the year 9 area to the oval. To get over the fence, I once again found myself using the Balloon Mario method based on Super Mario 64 DS. When I got over the two lots of fences, I made my way to the oval. When scanning the oval, there was no WB... Only junior PE classes in action.

So turned back and went to the edge of the quadrangle. When there, I assessed my surroundings again and thought that maybe WB was having English in the library. Usually, there is an accessible staircase next to the art rooms but in the dream, there was not. The only available staircase was the main one where the lift was. So I went back over the fences and then scanned the area where the staircase was... Supposed to be! The main staircase was non existent, at least so I thought. There were remnants of the top half of the staircase in which the bottom half had been broken off like the school had demolition day. I looked to see where there were accessible stairs. I eventually caught sight of the newly placed staircase which does not exist in the waking life Killester.

Leading up to the staircase was this long wooden walkway and in the middle of the walkway, I noticed Mr H conducting a choir. Still, I thought I'd stop by the choir in case WB was in that... But I soon noticed she wasn't. There were a lot of girls and so the space of the walkway was very crowded. Additionally, some strange gravity was always making me fall backwards and almost tip over off the walkway. Eventually, the weird gravity started to affect the girls in the choir as well.

The dream scene then skipped to me talking to my mum in the car. I was saying to her that I was going to stay longer as I realised the year 12 graduation assembly was today. Either I don't remember what happened after that or I woke up.

      V Behind The Scenes V

      116 A: Why Lucid?
Although Dream No. 116 A followed a non lucid plot, I felt like I was really aware of my surroundings and the things that were happening. When I am non-lucid, my goals appear to be blurred and I sometimes use crazy methods to get them... Like you know what you want but then at the same time, you're not sure how to reach that goal. In a lucid dream, I clearly know what I want my first resort is to call Dreamy WB. It's sad that I don't remember how I entered the lucid state as it would have been good to write the reality check here to prove it to anyone reading... As well as just to basically share insight on how I got lucid, not just that I was lucid. I think I might do a comparison chart below as to what non-lucid dreams feel like, compared to lucid dreams.

      Non-Lucid Dreams

      1. Summoning Dreamy WB

There are multiple approaches in non-lucid dreams. First, I find myself looking for her
rather than just calling for her. Also, I sometimes my get the real version instead of
the intended dream guide. Although I'm in non-lucid dreams, I can still tell who is who,
even in the slightest personality differences... It doesn't always have to be nice and
nasty. Sometimes, they're both nice but the real one acts more informal and teen like
whereas the dreamy figure acts more motherly like. Basically, she's unpredictable in
non-lucid dreams and sometimes, I can't even get her at all.
      2. Interacting With The Environment
Anything can happen in a non-lucid dream. Also, it's like the environment controls me.
I can't really interact with the environment fully, I can only do what it tells me to do. For instance, I know I could have reached WB's place if I wanted to but because it was a
non-lucid dream, I remained lost because I was unable to command an instant change,
rather the plot just flowed as it was going to, all the way until the end of the current REM
      cycle.
      3. Ambitions
My goals aren't so straight forward. Additionally, I find I may only set a certain task if a
problem arises first. I guess dreams would be meaningless if there wasn't a storyline to
      follow along to.
      4. Dealing With Problems
In non-lucid dreams, the solution doesn't come to me straight away. Additionally, I may appear scared of confused in front of the enemies I face. Even if I start out strong, I feel
the enemy always finds a way to weaken me before my dream ends. Especially in nightmares, I am completely helpless and cannot even feel my dream guide's energy around anyway.
      5. In Summary
The dream tells me what to do. The more violence, the less I can feel energy and instead, I feel rather deserted and lost.

      Lucid Dreams
      1. Summoning Dreamy WB
This works pretty much all the time! The first thing I do when I realise a lucid state is call specifically for Dreamy WB. Additionally, if there is no response, the lucid state allows me to keep persevering whereas in a non-lucid, I could risk losing focus.
In lucid dreams, she always arrives promptly and greatly assists with the task at hand.
      2. Interacting With The Environment
I find that I interact better with the environment, having a connection to it rather than being the environment's puppet. I can actually also assess the sensations. For instance, I may not have described Dreamy WB's hug so vividly if I wasn't lucid. Additionally, in Dream No. 93, I knew it was fading, whereas if I was non-lucid, I wouldn't have realised that the dream was exiting.
      3. Ambitions

In lucid dreams, I know what I want and am able to stay focused, even if non-lucid aspects of the lucid dream try to set me off course. Most importantly, I find myself having an ambition as soon as I enter lucidity, there is no hesitation.
      4. Dealing With Problems
So far in lucid dreams, I haven't encountered any real evil yet. I predict that it would be the same as the above 3 points. I predict Dreamy WB going to the root of the problem rather than me having to go on a quest to get help. Also, I think I may be able to assess the dangers before making a move rather than suffering from a wrong choice, influenced by non-lucid plots.
      5. In Summary
I have a higher awareness and I actually know what I want, rather than being lost and confused and just pushed around by a pre-written story plot. Additionally, since Dreamy WB can be summoned from the start, nightmares won't be a lonely, heart attack causing encounter

    2. Dream - Stick Strife

Date of Dream: SUN 14 MAY - 2017

One Dream Combat Championship Challenger: DEFEATED!!! There are now 6 challengers remaining in this round... Do you and Dreamy WB have what it takes to get to them in time and reign victorious?

Dream No. 113 - Stick Strife
      Lucid Dream 6

Although I've forgotten exactly how I became lucid, I do remember that there was a change of awareness in me. I was now consciously aware that I could change some aspects of my dream. I was in my house, in the front room, when I said to myself, “I want to find the area and fight that pot plant now”. That's when the dream camera shifted over to an image of a bowl with fuzzy, tangled vines in it, almost like very thick strands of knotted hair... But that's not what I was facing.

The dream camera then went back to the front room, which claimed to be my arena, although it didn't look like an arena in any way. There was now a stick laying on the floor, just laying there like a normal stick in a backyard would. The only special feature about this stick was its two, long-shaped black eyes on the top. I thought that to defeat the stick, I'd break bits off it until it came to nothing. The only problem is, every time I'd break the stick for the first time, it's “head” would keep “regenerating”! At the same time, my mum was sitting on the couch and she was trying to tell me what I should do but then she was also distracting me. It's like the dream was using her to break me out of my lucidity and the pot plant (stick) task at hand. I told her I knew what I was doing and so she eventually stopped and minded her own business.

I was frustrated and frightened because I was still breaking the stick for the first time and it was still growing back. And so I yell out, “Dreamy WB! What's going on here? Do something!”. In this dream, Dreamy WB wasn't physically there but rather, she was an invisible force. A subconscious message came to me that I had 30 seconds to break down as much of the stick as possible. In the dream, I found myself counting out loud to 30 and when I hit 30, the stick became rigid again. So the stick was about ¾ way broken when it decided it would now “attack” me.

The dream camera had showed a close-up of my eye and these was now a toothpick going vertically up it, like someone trying to keep you awake. The phenomenon was that the stick had put the toothpick there to cause a lump on the outer socket, intentionally causing injury. So I was in no condition to handle the stick. The dream somehow subconsciously suggested to get Dreamy WB and that she would place her finger on the lump to heal it. Once that idea was expressed, I had some sort of warm, fuzzy feeling surrounding me. I noticed that the lump had disappeared and so I continue to handle that stick.

I then thought to myself, “You are going to pay dearly”. I noticed I had control of my 4 elements. I used fire on the stick but that did nothing. Earth was next and that didn't do anything either. Electricity was the third try but had no effect. Last of all was ice and that's what ended the life of the stick, making it shrivel up and shatter. Surprisingly, that's the only dream I remember from that night.

There will be a "Behind The Scenes" entry for this dream.
    3. Dream - Soccer In The Woods

      by , 05-06-2017 at 03:42 AM
Date of Dream: SAT 6 MAY - 2017

I originally wasn't going to record this dream but then I thought it's worth it because of that reality check involved, which made it a semi-lucid dream rather than non-lucid. A "Behind The Scenes" entry of the reality check is to follow once I publish this one:

Dream No. 108 – Soccer In The Woods
      (Lucid Dream 5)

I was in some nice looking forest, it wasn't too cluttered with trees... There was ample grassland and golden light could be seen coming through due to the sun. As I was walking through, I once again had that thought of calling out for WB (the waking life one this time) but I stop myself and literally think to myself, “Is this real life or is it a dream? You'd better make sure you're not shouting in real life and then the wrong person hears you”. So I looked down at my hands, both of them spread out in front of me. I only had five fingers on each of them, but the shape of the fingers would keep warping, almost like my hands were underneath a layer of water. And then I remember thinking, “Yep, this is a dream, you have permission to call her”. So at the loudest volume I could, I kept calling “WB!” until she came out from behind a tree. It was interesting as she suggested we play some strange game of soccer, which is what we did. I forgot what happened afterwards.

The dream distinguished that she was the waking life version this time. I saw her in person in waking life yesterday and had a really good time, so I think my subconscious has now traced her back to being a rational entity.
    4. Dream - They Can Hear Me & The Lolly Bush

Date of Dream: SUN 30 APR - 2017

Dream No. 104 – Seperated Sections

      (Lucid Dream 4)

Dream No. 104 A – They Can Hear Me

At the start of this dream, I was somewhat aware of my surrounds but then at the same time I wasn't, it's a really hard state of awareness to describe... It's like I was aware I was dreaming but just not enough to show any signs of lucidity. I put my hnd up in front of me like someone saying stop but with my hand facing me. At first, it was only five fingers but a sixth one kept flashing on and off. I then became more aware and was finally able to adopt some degree of lucidity.

I went to the front balcony of my house and called out for WB in the direction of up the court but as I was doing this, I was consciously aware that I was probably too loud and that my parents may have heard me. There was no respose from WB and so I thought I would actually go and change the dream scene to somewhere where hopefully there would be more action. I said to myself to close my eyes and to not open them again or I would wake up.

      Transition
The dream scene was slowly mixing up from the solid scene to just a blur of images that looked like frosted glass you couldn't see through. All throughout the dream scene change, I'm giving myself a lecture on how I am not to open my eyes and to rather just keep them closed.

Dream No. 104 B – The Lolly Bush

The new dream scene eventually made sense and it was in the backyard of my other grandparents' house. I was on their verandah and I started a reality check straight away to make sure I was still dreaming, it was a strange one though. I would cross the third finger over the second and I knew I was dreaming because both sides had equal, straight fingers. I was going to call out for WB again but then I saw her loafing around in the backyard on the grassed area in a strapless, black pencil dress. She stayed quiet for this entire dream and didn't speak... She only went wherever I went and watched on. I took her to the side of the house to explore with her and I saw these wrapped lollies, I think they were actually chocolates, “growing” on a couple of bushes. I opened a blue one and thought to myself, “Why is it hard to swallow is straight away?”. I then devised that the flavour of that lolly was called “Gooey Chooey”.

I know there was more that happened but I don't remember the events.

^End of Dream^: Read further for the Reality Check Explained!

That reality check has got to be one of the most vivid memories of that dream. I did the exact same thing in waking like and took a photo of it. Look below:

      http://karlab14.deviantart.com/art/D...aled-677895285

^File attachment didn't want to work, so check the image out on my DeviantArt instead^

On the image, you should see fingers 2 and 3 crossed over. On the right side, fingers 4 and 5 are together and are of similar height. On the other side, there is only the thumb which is very short in comparison to all the other fingers.

In the dream however, fingers 2 and 3 are crossed. Fingers 4 and 5 are of the same length. And then on the left side, the two fingers were also the same length. So actually, fingers 3 and 4 were crossed over. 5 and 6 were equal to the right AND 1 and 2 were equal to the left... So the extra finger had come in between 1 and 2, if you get that. If you were to count them from right to left (because it was my right hand I checked against): in real life, 5, 4, 3 twisted into 2, then 1. In dream, 5, 4, 3 twisted into 2, 1... Hold on... AN EXTRA?!

    5. Dream - A Beautiful Adventure

      by , 04-25-2017 at 04:09 AM
Thought I'd start posting one of the most spectacular dreams I've ever had... It's the highest degree of lucidity I've had too!

Date of Dream: THU 6 APR - 2017

      Dream No. 93 – A Beautiful Adventure
      (Lucid Dream 3)

      Part 1
Although I'm no longer at Killester (my high school) in real life, I went to attend one of the assemblies and was sitting in the students area. There was this special needs boy beside me (Killester is an all girls school in real life) and he would always come really close to me and try to hug me. At the same time, there was this strict teacher behind me that was constantly telling students to move to their correct year level area. Then I was talking to Mr H (male) about something but I forgot what it was... I do know that it was something about music though. Then apparently the vocal group were going to perform but there only 6 members on the stage and they were all wearing fluro green vests. And then my attention turned to the back of the hall to see where the rest of the vocal group members were... I managed to catch sight of EO (female) and WB (female). I went with WB outside to one of the balconies linked onto the hall and there I saw the most beautiful tree ever. It was literally glowing a very bright green and the flowers on it were these vivid, light purple tulips. WB didn't do anything except stand there and gaze at the tree with me... That's when I all of a sudden became aware I was dreaming!! The dream tried to fade out on me but I asked it to stay... It worked the first time. But then a few seconds later, the dream tries fading out me and my request for stability does not work.

      Part 1 Exit (Transition)
I am now so fully aware that I am in a dream rather than something I know completely nothing about. I find that the dream has taken me to “the void” which was mentioned on a video I watched in real life a few days ago. When I was in that void of blackness and emptiness, my head was reciting the exact words that the guy said on the YouTube video. But the dream was forcing me to open my eyes so I would wake up. I was fighting with the dream to try and keep my eyes closed but in the end, I lost the battle and ended up becoming awake.

      Waking State (Transition) – Non-Dream
I have opened my eyes and am aware that I'm in the waking world... But I say to myself, “Don't even look at the clock” and I closed my eyes again instantly.

      Part 2 Entrance (Transition)
Although I was awake for about a second or two, I found that I was actually still completely, consciously aware of my dream surroundings when I came back into them. The first thing I did was a reality check where straight away, I noticed that I had six noodle-like fingers on each hand. The sight was terrifying but at the same time, this actually confirmed that I was in a dream.

      Part 2
I don't remember what I was doing in my house but I ran outside due to the excitement of my dream awareness. At the top of the court, I consciously started calling out for WB and continued to call for her while walking up and down the court. Then these cars started coming the court and so I decided to see if any one of them would possibly be WB. There were two shiny looking cars that passed by and didn't stop... But then there was third car, a small dull black one that pulled up in front of me. Out of the car came WB wearing a white shirt and black trousers, with her hair straight and tied up into a bun... WB had a very strong masculine look about her. Then WB said to me that she brought LB (WB's younger sister) along with her to keep me safe. She hinted to me that someone was out to get me and my mind depicted that WB was talking about my real life parents. So out LB hopped from the car. She was wearing a light blue police uniform and she had an extremely feminine look about her, even more so than in this world. At this stage, I was really excited and so went and hugged WB, who really tightly hugged me back. I then went up to LB, gave her a small hug and kissed her on the forehead. She didn't pull back but she didn't return anything either. WB then explained to me that LB wasn't really good with affection.

After that, WB told me to get into the back seat of the car. I asked her if anyone was going to be sitting in the back with me but she said they were both going to be in the front. I did question WB but then she said to think of them like my second parents... Supposedly with LB being the mum and WB being the dad. She said then something about sitting diagonally from the one I favour more. When I got into the car, I found myself sitting behind WB and diagonally to LB but then I didn't find that the “diagonal” reasoning agreed with me. I consciously chose that position in the car because that was the side next to the nature strip and also, I take that side of the car in waking life. WB then drove off and we ended up at a video rental store, Video Ezy! They don't exist anymore in waking life! We didn't get out but rather remained in the car, this random video just suddenly appeared in LB's hands. I asked LB why they got that video and she told me that I was coming home with them.

That's when I got to about the most excited I would ever be the dream. I got so excited that the I noticed this dream was trying to fade out on me too. So as we're driving though the area of Dandenong South, I'm looking out at the opposite window, at the blue sky above the buildings. I'm constantly on fast repeat, going “stability, stability, stability, stability” like a broken record. As I do this, I notice that WB and LB are giving me strange looks, maybe thinking to themselves “are you okay?”. I sadly can't fight the dream fade and wake up.
