    New long term goals list

Within 1 year Within 2 years Within 3 years

Good morning! This is my new long term goals list. I've thought alot about this, and this is what I would like to achieve in my dreams over the next couple of years.

    1. Having Long Lucids - I need to make my lucids longer! The longest one I've had has only been about 3-4 minutes. To even be able to try the other things out, I need to learn how to make my lucids longer.

    2. DEILD - Everytime I am about to wake up from a lucid dream, I will from now on, just lie still and try to go back into it. I definitely have to learn this, since my lucids aren't very long. And even if they do increase in length later on, I can accomplish so much more if I manage to do a DEILD.

    3. Master Super Powers - This is something I really love, and want to do first to keep my spirit up while trying to get lucid more often. This includes mastering: Flying, Telekinesis, Explosions, Pyrokinesis, Super Strength. You name it.

    4. Teleportation - I really need to learn how to teleport. If I want to explore the world, and not just get stuck in the random dream scenario I happen to become lucid in, this is a must.

    5. Summoning - To summon an ally of some sorts, or just any kind of clothes, weapons or creatures. I aim to be able to have a companion later on, which I can call on and will help me out in my dreams.

    6. Transformation - Transform into different kinds of things. This would be very cool, because I know from normal dreams that transforming does not only change appearance, but perspective and emotions. There's nothing cooler than being a bloodthirsty vampire or werewolf

    7. MILD - Mastering this technique is my goal. I am already trying almost everyday with mantra work, meditation and positive thinking. I'm not sure I will master it within 3 years, but I think it is possible with hard work!

    8. Become Good - I am a person who thinks logically, but I also care alot about those around me. This isn't the case in my dreams, since I know it's not real. I then unleash and do whatever I want. I just love the feeling of power and making people respect or fear me. I don't mind exploring and doing bad things in the beginning, but in time I would want to try to change my "dreamself" into a kind, loving and healing person.

That's it! I will do the first 3 at the same time while becoming lucid. First off stabilizing the dream and trying to keep a cool head, then master superpowers and do an L-DEILD when I wake up.

Please comment with any suggestions within any category or questions.

    Keep on dreaming, HARE BRA!

Sounds good! I myself haven't done any long term goal list like this, just some minor/manor goals that I plan to complete in the future.

As with teleportation, I hear loads of people use doors or mirrors for doing this, walking into mirror and getting to the place you want or opening a door and entering the place.

You could always try to wear some kind of item/take off some kind of item that disables/enables your super powers. A quote from one thread I read today: "You can make up any BS excuse" (something like that.) Of course, you might want to be able to use these powers without something like this. Totally possible, of course.

These are great goals! Yes I agree with Cyper in that you can make up any type of BS excuse. If you want to teleport for example, pick anything that's easy for you to do... maybe pick something fun like downing a shot glass of blood (since you want to be a vampire or energy or orange juice or vodka, w/e) and in turn once the drink is finished you'll be whereever it is you intended. Make it something you find interesting and enjoyable and that'll strengthen your intent.

As far as becoming a good person, you're already on the right track. First you're becoming aware of your priorities and evaluating where you stand now and where you'd like to stand in the future. The desire to learn control and to discipline your mind will help you greatly in becoming what and who you'd like to be.

Nothing is impossible, you are only limited by your imagination

Thanks guys I don't seem to have much problems when it comes to doing super powers. I'm already close to mastering flying, and telekinesis seems like it's a piece of cake aswell.

The drinking blood part is a great idea! I will definitely try that. I hope I don't become a zombie hehe.

Yeah I guess it's a question of not giving up and believing in what I want to do. I'll probably find an easy way to teleport one day. I haven't tried opening a portal, and that's almost a super power

How did you learn how to teleport and transform? Just try different techniques out and see which one will work? I guess in time, I don't even have to use different "tricks" to transform or teleport.

I learned to teleport by just wanting to be someplace else. I just picture where I want to be and the scene changes ... GypsyKiss is learning to do it by closing her eyes and just putting up an illusion and then the illusion becomes reality.

Transforming is an entirely different matter. I need a strong reason to flip into my panther form. I only transform when I need an energy burst or on protection mode for someone else. My mind changes and it allows me to fight anything I want.

You're right about just trying different things until you find what works. Although what I've noticed is often what we're interested in are things we're naturally good at. So when you're picking super powers, it wouldn't be a bad idea to try out super powers you already think are awesome ... those will probably be powers you're good at. And yep, once you get the hang of it you won't need tricks and it'll all become second nature.

"Become good" is one of my goals, too. I was a bit of a jerk in my last lucid dream ("I'm gonna climb over and jump off these tables just because I can get away with it!"), and it bothers me. I don't want to be like that, either in real life or in a dream.

      "Become good" - awwwww

Haha I don't mind being evil, I actually kinda like it. But I'm afraid that this will reflect onto my real life self, instead of the other way around. I will definitely do all kinds of evil things before I decide to become good. The most advanced lucid dreamers seem to stay on the good side. Being happy and joyful.

I just make people kneel to me, hurt them or destroy stuff. And the smile I have on my face while I do it... It's like a drug!

And thanks Kaomea! That seems logical. I will try them out in different ways. Teleporting and Summoning atleast is a MUST to learn. I will not give up on those, but pyrokinesis for example. I tried making fire for months without any good results. I'll just move on to the next one from now on if it won't work and accept I can't do everything

I can't really close my eyes, as I tend to wake up if I do. But I'll find a way!

That's what I'm afraid of, too.
