Tuesday 5th – Zombie Apocalypse - My house is a fortress

There is a zombie outbreak and a group of people and I are stood on top of a van facing a large building, which I had said was the library. The street was deserted, and there were just bits of rubbish scattered everywhere, which makes me think that the major part of the attack hadn’t happened yet. The guy stood on my left asks why we are putting our lives at risk for a few packets of skittles, and I had to explain that those sweets can last a long time, and they are the best tasting ones anyway. I don’t know how we would get skittles from a library, but I just think that getting some cookbooks might be helpful.

Jumping off the car we head inside the library. There’s no-one inside, and the book shelves go really high. The books are also really thick, and the covers look like they are made of foam. Or like the ones in a show for kids where they have fake books. I am about to reach up and take one when I hear a noise I turn around to the checkout (it’s like a supermarket one, but in a library). A man is stood there, with a zombie on a leash. I can’t actually make out what they look like, and it feels like I’m seeing them out of the corner of my eye. Someone thinks it’s cute, so they go over to the guy and talk to him. I’m a bit unsure so I decide to go to the back of the store (It has become half shop half library), and make some emergency kits.

I look around for a big enough backpack that I can use for a major emergency, such as having to leave my house/fortress for good. I start to think that I need one which I can still run with, and use a baseball bat to kill the zombies, and I walk along shelves which are just full of them. I also find a small one which can be used for the ninjas. The ninjas are basically looters which go out during a zombie outbreak. I sort out the small one, and then I put rolled up socks and Listerine mouthwash into the big one.

Suddenly, something major happens, and we are on the run. I am running through the car park, with a full bag and a baseball bat, and the situation is like what I imagined when I made the bags. So I am running to try and get to my house. I knock a few zombies out and finally reach home.

At this point my dad is pulling a huge mattress into the garage, because a weird kid told him that it would give him better house defence. He rolls down the garage doors and I go back into my house. However, my house is now not actually my house.

Inside, there are no stairs. There doesn’t even seem to be a downstairs to my house. It is all on the upper floor. When you go in through the doors, you come straight into an area like a hallway, but it is wider. In front of me is a ladder, and to the left is a pulley kind of thing, which when you go over to it, you go straight up onto the next floor. I remember being told that it only works if you have killed 2 zombies when being down there.

I go up the ladder and immediately to my left a few metres away is a computer, complete with Wi-Fi, video games, and many screens which look like they are hacking things. The floor has a lot of wires on it. The room on the right hand side if filled with skittles. On the left there is a living area, with sofas and stuff. My brother comes to visit, and tells me my parents aren’t here yet. He gets really jealous about the Wi-Fi, and how I shouldn’t be allowed/able to have it during a Zombie Apocalypse. Once he spots that it can play video games too, he leaves because he is too annoyed with me.

At this point there is a zombie attack on my little house, and a police officer and a black woman come into the house. The black woman goes into the living area, and stands at the window that has horizontal white blinds, and she starts to shoot out of the window. I have to hide the police officer for some reason, and it goes into what looks like Sims 3 build&buy mode. I place the police officer on the floor next to the sofa and he lies down.


I also had a FA last night, where I woke up and wrote down bullet points for this dream. I then got up, looked out of the window and it was snowing.
