    Desert strategy
I'm playing some kind of strategy game. The map is of a desert area with a few ruined structures. Dots (evenly spaced) are placed in a semicircle starting at the top going counterclockwise to the bottom. Each dot represents a place I can take control of - some or all of them are missions that need to be done. I'm playing against an opponent (female, but I don't know if she is human or AI) who's also trying to take them.

This is my first time playing the game, and I have no idea what I'm doing, so I'm feeling my way around. At one point, I'm doing one of the missions, and I can see a huge, dirty, black tower that I know is part of an oil refinery. Later, on the overview map, I've made it most of the way around the semicircle. It didn't take much effort, so this must be a tutorial map.

I select one of the dots and see I have some weapon resources; I try to send them to dots further on, but I realize too late that I actually fired them at my own holdings. That's going to cause enough damage that I decide to restart.

    Flooding structure
I'm in a smallish room with another couple of men. The room is all concrete and metal, with pipes running along the ceiling. We're trying to do something with a pipe lower down, which is leaking. Despite our best efforts, the leak is getting worse and worse. With horror, I realize that something has destroyed the seals in this pipe, and that it's probably destroyed the seals in other pipes as well.

Now the room is filling with water, and we're all trying to get to safety. We manage to get get through the door to the stairwell. Other people from below are evacuating (we're underground). Near the door, on the wall, is a phone: against the advice of my companions, I pick it up and try to dial 911. I don't expect it to work, but the call connects. I don't hear a voice on the other end, just some electronic noises, and I don't have time to wait. I know that they'll send someone to check out a hangup call, so I just hang up and start climbing the stairs.

Now I'm walking around in a building aboveground, through a hallway that runs around an open courtyard. The courtyard is mostly just dusty dry dirt. On the far side of the courtyard, the building rises up a second story. Now I'm climbing the steps to the second story and see that the bathrooms are up here.
