Last night before bed I went through my old archived dream journal and began reading the several pages of dreams and notes therein. .. Re familiarizing myself with the key metaphors that are generally present in all my dreams. Brushing up on the language so to speak.

The dreamview is not quite so dark as the last dream, in fact though the sky seems clouded over, it is fairly light out. The perception is as if traveling over the landscape above some highways heading west, though I keep throughout the dream looking back to the north again and again.
There were numerous incidents of my phone ringing and me talking to my father who was constantly giving me things to do, distracting me from following the roadway. There were other distractions as well, but do not remember the specifics.
Then I felt a presence, a woman. At first when I saw her, I took her to be someone locally, but I "felt" her presence and knew she represented my inner Self . Of this and in this there arose a lucidity that transcended the rest of the dream playing out around us . She went into a building. It was as if a roadside in, kind of dilapidated, but solid. Nothing like the bombed out buildings of the previous journal entry.
She had a rope tied to a horse which was laying on the floor on its side as if half dead. She was lying back on a couch. I plopped down on the couch next to here feeling as though I missed her and wanted to hug her. I said to her ( in direct transmission of thought as most communication happens in my dreams) that I have neglected her, and needed to pay more attention to her. There was a very warm feeling of love in her and she said to me that Yes, you need to pay more attention to me.

This dream was true and to the point as I had taken it . I have neglected myself the last 2 years to a large degree. Stagnated on the path, but not having left it. The half dead horse she was dragging around likely represents me. Seems I need to get up and pull my own spiritual weight again and start progressing on the path again. From about 2 days ago..

The dreamscape is a dark, grim set of scenery. Mainly a town and the countryside surrounding it devastated by what appears to be a civil war. Buildings half there, reduced to rubble, others barely habitable. People staying inside mostly, but some bands of armed citizens outside engaged in conversation and normal activities of living.
A variety of ethnic backgrounds present, some of which I would have apprehension, if not fear about normally given the circumstances of their dress and being armed, however I note a peaceful feeling of calm in their presence here.
The dreamview is constantly shifting around the area, following some persons, then others. There is much detail that I do not remember now. The view then shifts to armored military vehicles getting ready to deploy. I feel some need to get their attention, but shift away to follow something else in the dreamview. I am as if flying over the field of vision taking in all the scenery in this dark landscape. No body , just the perception. There is a thought that arises, but I lose it quickly. Then the entire dream begins to fade to a black emptiness that does not have an empty feel to it.
At the point where the fading begins I hear music playing. It is however much more than just hearing. I literally see the music and feel it. The music is above the viewpoint kind of and to the right in the form of whisps of light. This is what was playing:

It was just the refrain that was playing, but it was an experience to be well noted, as it was so vivid and clear

Over and over it played.
I actually became awake while it was still playing and the dream was still happening. Opening my eyes into the bedroom the music began to fade slowly till it was gone.

What I do not remember... was the question. However the question my be in another form. Buildings in my dreams represent myself, my current state of being, and perhaps current progress in understanding my true condition. The war torn buildings in this dream may represent crumbling of my progress from neglect and distraction. There were no women in this dream, and this is key. Key, because a woman in my dream usually represents some facet of my inner higher consciousness, God so to speak .
I also note one more item of significance.. that being that in the musical refrain playing there was one word that was different from the actual song. In the dream, it says "Shine with me". In the music by Englan Dan, it is "Shine on me". The feeling was clear in the dream.. that the singing was from the perspectinve of the higher inner consciousness. This word change is very significant

Been largely away from DV for almost 2 years. Been in tow of the body/person/persona and all its myriad of circumstances. Asleep at the wheel so to speak...

Let writing my dreams down go by the wayside, as well as the teachings from them that were left unnoticed.

Finally waking up again..

Quieting down..

Relaxing the grip..
