task of the month dreams
I got lucky with this early WILD; I'm on vacation, and when I sleep in a strange place, I wake up alot and I sometimes get vibrations at 5 or 6 in the morning and don't have to wait to sleep in late. I've been vacationing so now I don't remember all the dream, but I'll record all the bits I remember. Anyway, I woke up from an almost nightmare (nonlucid). It was really abstract, but still scary somehow. It ended with me looking at some musical notations, and feeling scary vibrations. I woke up, and tried to recreate the vibrations. They weren't properly kicking in. Felt kinda like trying to start a car with little or no gas. Finally after 3 or 4 attempts, I initiated them again and said to myself "Focus focus focus focus..." Finally the engine turned over and I quickly imagined a scene with a sunrise. I opened my dream eyes and I think it was still the hotel bedroom. And it was really dark. I struggled with the blankets a little and got up very slowly. I was able to rub my hands together and just will myself to see better, which helped a little (what usually helps the most is to ignore all this sight drama and begin focusing on a goal and eventually things clear up). I went into the hotel bathroom and looked in the mirror. I looked like a creepy girl from one of those Japanese horror movies, like The Ring or something. It freaked me out a little, so to calm down I just acted the character. I growled and snarled at my reflection. I remember feeling my heart beat faster (don't know if it was my real heart or residue). I left the bathroom and don't remember what happened in those exact moments after. Next thing I remember I see a big glass window leading to a backyard that I don't recognize. Happy that I can see better, I go to the window and push through it I end up on the other side, and I see all these different flowering bushes. I think to myself "What the heck I'll try the basic task with the flower." I went to several bushes (I remember one with daisies and another with sweet william), but each time I got up close, the flower wilted and died before I could even pick one. The last bush I remember had big dark red blossoms on it. I picked one fast and it looked ok, not great, but passable. I turned around and saw that I was in a garden behind this little white house. An old indian man came out of the back door, and headed toward his sit-down lawn mower. Before he could start it, I said "Here ya go!" and handed him the rose. He said "I don't want it," and began mowing his backyard lawn. I kept following him and said "No you have to take it man, it's for the TOTM." Finally he took it, begrudgingly, and said, "It's all about you, isn't it? I bet you wouldn't even become a Christian." I lied and said, "No no, it's cool. I'll go to church with you I promise." And that's all I remember about that part. Later I remember going back inside, and ended up in the hotel bathroom again. My reflection looked just like me, and I remember playing around, making funny faces at myself, and thinking that this dream was really lasting a while. I couldn't think of anything else to do, so I just kept monkeying around in the bathroom until I woke up.
Had quite a morning. I had to close at work so I slept from 1:30am to 5:30am when Danny got up for work. I couldn't get to sleep because my fan wasn't working (I need the white noise). After I got Chris to school at 7:15am, it took maybe 45min before I finally got back to sleep. I woke up a little bit later because I swore I heard my daughter Nicole come home from school. I thought that she must have gotten sick and got a ride home. I heard her talking on the phone, and some doors open and close. Something didn't feel right though. I rolled over to listen more carefully in case I was imagining things, when I felt some super strong vibrations. I knew then that what I'd heard was auditory HH (I used to get those a long time ago). So I went with the vibes and slipped into an LD. I struggled with the blankets as I tried to get out of my bedroom. I wondered if I would see the DC version of Nicole, so I could ask her to guess a number from 1 - 100. I saw a really reduced version of her in the hall, coming at me fast! I pushed her away and went to the livingroom. I tried to call out to her to ask her the question, but my voice was paralyzed, shit. i tried again, but my vision faded and then woke up. When I woke up, I thought I could still here doors and stuff, weird. I felt vibrations again, so I thought COOL a second chance. This time I didn't even have to open my dream eyes. As soon as the vibrations washed over me, I could see my room through my eyelids, and the TV remote control was hovering above my nightstand. That was a new one for me haha. I got up more quickly and marched straight out the door. I saw a normal version of Nicole this time, but her glasses were different. I was about to speak, when I noticed my voice and eyesight failing again. I thought quickly, and turned to a lamp in our living room. As I went for the lamp, I said a mantra in my head: "Once you turn on this light, you WILL be able to see and you WILL be able to speak." I turned it on, and I could see. I picked it up (don't know why I did this), and pointed the light in Nicole's face, almost like one would shine a light on someone to interrogate them. I said easily, "I'm thinking of a number between 1 - 100, what is it?" I had preselected the number 42 in waking life, because I knew I would remember it in the dream. Nicole giggled and answered, "That's sorty new!" I laughed at her and the fact that her answer rhymed with 42. She went to her room and I went outside. I was thinking about trying the firework task while I was still dreaming. When I went out the door, I was standing on a foothill, over looking a trail that cut through a small forest. The trail ended at a body of water that was either the sea or a really large lake. There were wooden newel posts at the start of the trail. I picked up some dirt and leaves on the ground and placed them on the flat top of one of the posts. I willed a lighter to appear, and a little black cigarette lighter sat just to the right of my little pile. I imagined that when I lit it, it would shoot into the air and become fireworks. I lit it but nothing happened. No worries, I really just wanted to go down that trail hehe. It was dark but I wasn't scared. I noticed that the moon was just beginning to rise just to the east of the sea. It seemed to break through some kind of ice, or crystals. As it rose, I thought of that song "Walking Man's Road" from The Last Unicorn. So I started down the trail, singing the song as an invisible band accompanied me. As I walked and sang, little forest animals began walking along side me. When I got to my favorite line, a small black bear bit my hand. I removed my hand from his mouth easily, but I was mad that he interrupted my favorite part. I sang a couple more lines then woke up. I fell back to sleep after feeling more vibrations. The vibrations didn't lead to anything, and I began having a non lucid. I was at dinner party that looked like a wedding reception. It was outside, under one of those big white tents, with little white lights strung everywhere. I was sitting with 6 or 7 other guests at one of the round tables with white tablecloth, white napkins and white china and candles and a floral centerpiece. I was staring at a picture of a young man that the man next to me was showing me. He was telling me about him, when it suddenly dawned on me that I had JUST woken from a dream not moments ago. I thought how lucky I was to be having another lucid! Still the the fireworks task on my mind, I started taking random things from the table and stacking them together: a namecard holder, a fork, a napkin, and I can't remember what else. I looked up and noticed that there was a hole in the center of the tent that revealed stars and the night sky. I yelled at a passing waiter to bring me a lighter, but then I remembered that there were candles on the table. I lit my pile of stuff and waited. I said to the guests, "Hold on to your seats, this is gonna shoot up into the air!" It took a few moments, and I began to doubt. Then the pile shot up through the hole in the tent, and burst into tiny, cute little fireworks with several tiny "pop!" sounds. They sparkled and vanished for a few moments, right at the tent's opening. Of course I was hoping for a huge firework show, but I thought it was kinda cute that I managed to set one off that was more intimate, and appropriate for a reception setting. Then I went nonlucid or woke up, I can't remember.
My usual routine, 6:45am WBTB, then back to sleep an hour or so later. It's taking me longer and longer to get back to sleep, which I think is actually helping me attain lucidity more often then if I just immediately crash. I woke up and felt some quick vibrations. I was lying on my back, and I waited a few seconds to slowly open my eyes. The room was too dark as usual, which was the indication that I was lucid. I slowly disentangled myself from the blankets, and sat up in bed. Danny was asleep next to me in real life, and his DC was there now in the dream. I tried to get out slowly without waking the DC, because DC Danny can be pretty unpredictable sometimes. He bolted upright in the bed, said some gibberish, then crashed back down. Mkay. I got up and left the room after struggling with my eyelids for a second. When I got to the livingroom, I looked out the sliding glass door that leads to the backyard, and it was snowing like crazy! I think my subC really likes snow now. Fine by me. That'll be a nice break from the heat when summer rolls around. I had to think for a second to remember that the TOTM I wanted to do was not snow, but the xmas ghosts. I didn't think of one specifically (I don't believe I chose past, present or future that I can recall), then the front door opened. What I can only guess was the ghost of Christmas future walked through the opened door, dressed like the guy from the movie Scream. Definitely not happening. I said "Oh HELL no!" and a bottle of water instantly appeared in my hand. I aimed it at the ghost and sprayed him with water. He tried to block the water wildly with his hands, then slipped and fell backwards out the door, and it slammed shut. I ran into the kitchen, which opened up into my parents' big beautiful kitchen. There was an ethereal looking blonde woman standing behind the island counter. I asked her if she was the ghost of Christmas past. She said "Yes." So I said "Hey, I just hosed down the ghost of Christmas future, do you think he'll be mad?" She said "No, it's fine." So I said, "Ok, show me my past!" She walked to the refrigerator, opened it, and pulled out a bottle of Sierra Nevada Torpedo Ale. It was already open. I said, "Alright! I love this ale, I used to drink it all the time!" So the ghost said, "I know, it's from your past." really. I suppose that makes sense, I have put back quite a few ales in my day. Then suddenly every square inch of the island counter and the other kitchen counters were covered with food. Not like someone had just cooked a banquet, but more like someone had just gone grocery shopping and hadn't put the groceries up yet. Boxed food, bagged food, canned food, bags of produce, etc. I said "What's all this?" The ghost replied, "This is the 'Food of Generosity,' which you have never denied your fellow man." D'awwwwwwwwwww I think the dream ended or went nonlucid after that, I don't remember anymore. I didn't get all 3 ghosts to take me anywhere, but at least I know what my subC thinks of me: I like to booze up and spread my wealth. Kinda like Dionysus I guess haha. I'm the goddess of food, booze and parties.
I need to go back to those cutesie DJ titles. Anyway, same WBTB at 6:45am. I think it was closer to 8:30am when I finally got back to sleep though... I remember waking up and lying on my back. I opened my eyes and there was something weird on the ceiling. By the time I focused on it, I woke up for real. So I went back to sleep, and same thing happened: I opened my eyes and the ceiling had an odd fixture on it. Not gonna fool me this time! So I slowly got out of bed, remarking that this was the quickest WILD transition I ever had.. no vibrations or nuthin! As I was leaving the bedroom, blanket were stuck on me. Even as I started down the hall, the corner of the blanket was still stuck to my foot. I gave one last kick and freed myself. I knew that irl, Danny had just come home from a doctor's appointment, so I wondered if I would see his DC in the livingroom, but I didn't. I was thinking of the snow TOTM, so I went for the front door. Irl I wondered that if I attempted this task, would my subC remember that it's cold outside. It didn't. It was like a muggy spring day, but cloudy. I always suck at weather changing, but I just put my hands up in the air in front of me. I began wiggling them, and sure enough, little sparkly white snow began to fall. And they were ice cold! I couldn't believe it worked! They would hit my skin, then melt. I noticed they weren't quite making it to the ground, so I amplified my hand gestures, bringing my hands up and down at the same time. The snow got heavier, and began collecting on the ground in spots. I started danging and hoping around, still waving my hands. I could hear it crunch beneath my feet. I was laughing and (so gay I know), little tears formed in my eyes because I was so happy it worked. The flurries of snow seems to follow exactly what I did. If I stopped, they stopped, if I danced more, they came back. I felt like a wizard, it was so magical. I wanted to make REALLY thick snow now, so I exaggerated my arms even more. The sky got so dark, an aubergine color almost. The air got colder, and the snow blew in all different directions. I stopped dancing and noticed I was standing in front of someone's pool. I wondered if I could freeze the water and walk on it haha. So I pointed my finger at it, and it partially froze on the edges, then melted. I tried harder, same thing. I got down on my knees and blew on it, a la Superman, still didn't freeze solid enough. It was creepy dark water, reflecting the creepy dark sky, so no way in hell I'm walking on scary ass dream water. I looked up at the sky and thought about going up and attempting the aurora task. But it was just too damn dark and scary. Everything felt so real, and I didn't really want to see what my subC had in store for me up in there! I tried to remember the other advanced task: Ghosts! So I ran back inside the house, willing the ghost of xmas past to appear. I saw an old man sitting in a recliner in the middle of the livingroom. He looked just like Buddy Hacket (who, ironically, played Scrooge in the movie Scrooged). I walked up to him, and asked him if he was the ghost of xmas past? He said yes. I shook his hand, then woke up. I tried to go back to sleep, thinking about that whole dream and willing myself to remember every detail. I gradually ended up in a dream nonlucid, where now instead of thinking about the lucid I had just had, I was telling my manager Nicole in my backyard about making it snow. I suddenly remembered that i was JUST thinking about my dream in bed. Lucid! I love it when that happens. SO I said to her, wanna see me make it snow? So I did it again haha! Then I remembered the ghost again, so I ran in the house again, there he was again, and I woke up again.
I just had an interesting time! I managed (with massive effort) one advanced task and 2 failed attemptes at the other advanced one. Usual went to bed around midnight and a 6:45am-7something WBTB. No vibrations, and went into a nonlucid, although I did incubate a dream. I did what I've been doing alot which is I'll be standing soemwhere, and it suddenly dawns on me that only moments earlier I was laying my head down to sleep. So this time I was standing in the middle of my livingroom floor when it hit me. Yeah! I started to go out the front door to do something, then I remembered the tasks (finally!). I wanted to try rebmevon, so I went into the kitchen and found a pencil and paper. I wish I could count how many times I tried to do this, may have been around 10 tries. But I'd try to write it, but the lead wouldn't stick to the paper, so I just made a "rebmevon" indentation. (Btw I hope it isn't cheating that I forced myself in waking life to remember rebmevon, all the letters in order.) Anyway, with tons of concentration and lots of sribbly failures, I finally managed to brute force rebmevon on paper. Since I was still lucid, I decided to go for the advanced task of bringing back a soul from purgatory. I though to go through a wall first, that maybe the scen chaange would take me to purgatory. I got my head through the livingroom wall, but it spat me back out before I could see anything. So then I thought I'd try the floor, since purgatory is on the way to hell anyway, right? I went to the bedroom and picked a spot on the floor by the bed. I stuck my head through the floor, then BOOM a giant cylindar of floor and earth broke away, revealing a tunnel that went all the way to an orange firey depth. Major "woah!" moment. But, I geuss I went too far? I dunno, I still tried. Too creeped out to actually go in that tunnel, I just stuck my head in and said "Hello?" it echoed. Then I heard a deep demonic voice say "Kevvvvvviinnnnnnnnnnnnnn." I said "Who is Kevvvvinnnnnnn?" Then the devil himself, with the hugest horns I ever saw (like Tim Curry in Legend) appeared at the bottom of the hole. Before I could escape, he did a mega jump and was up in my FACE and then I woke up lol. I went right back into the dream lucid, in my livingroom floor again. I saw a random DC who said he was going to go do something, and i said ok, I gotta go to the bedroom and find hell again, you ok with that? He said yes. So I went to the bedroom and went to the same spot. Did the same thing and got a big hole to hell again. This time it was bigger, and I could see levels on the way to hell. I thought I could jump to one of the levels and not actually fall into the hell fire. But I didn't want you know who to appear again. So this time I said into the hole "Ok, I'm sorry if I did this wrong that last time, I just wanted to know if I could bring back a soul from purgatory for a little while, then I'll return him like after 5 minutes?" I could hear sounds, like people moving and murmering, but I couldn't see anyone, and no one answered me. I feel like they couldn't even hear me. I repeated myself, and even made a suggestion: "Could I borrow Mozart for 5 minutes??!!" Still no answer. I ended up going nonlucid and remember even going into the whole I think, and I ended up in an old folk's home (purgatory?). Someone was about to fetch Mozart for me, but it was a babydoll. I remarked "He's awful young looking, don'tcha think?" Then I woke up. Satan, like this but not red and definitely not smiling:
I think I'm just going to continue revovling involuntarily between every goddamned induction technique they ever came up with. This morning was probably my first DEILD in it's truest sense. I mean, I've woken up and had 2 or 3 WILDs back to back before, but there was always minutes in between, and I didn' enter the dream where it left off. And the dreams were longer. This time I had maybe 5 or 6 (lost count!), and each time I would wake up after a quick 2-3min LD, be awake for a few seconds, then slip right back into the same story, fully lucid. No vibrations, and I didn't always start the LD in my stupid bed for a change! Like the last post, I'm a bit fuzzy on what happened in which dream, except for the first one and the last 2. I woke up at 6:45am, and got Chris to school, then back to bed at about 7:20. But I tossed and turned for aaaages. I was sick yesterday so I still had cold medicine in me, and my sleep pattern was all jacked up. Not sure when I finally fell asleep. In the first lucid, I dreamed that I woke up, but I wasn't sure if it was an LD because I didn't have my usual vibrations. I noticed it was super dark out, even though I remember it being light when I went back to bed. I was pretty sure I was lucid, and when I slowly got out of bed with blankets stuck to my back, I knew for sure. I went out the bedroom door and it was super dark. I flipped switches like crazy, to no avail. Then I remembered the flashlight me and CanisLucidus had talked about previously. So I felt my way to the livingroom and felt on an end table, willing a flashlight to appear. I felt something cold and cylindrical and picked it up. There was a little slidy button (like the flashlights we had in the 80's haha), so I pushed it up and it turned on with an ok-ish light. I shined it all over the livingroom, asking out loud "Any vampires in here? I actually wanna get bit. Free meal. Anyone?" Nothing. So I went out the front door and shined the light up and down the block. I saw a short old mexican man across the street. I ran across the street and asked him, with the light on him, if he was a vampire. He said no. So I reached up to touch his teeth in case he was lying, and he backed up saying "Hey leave me alone!" Then I woke up. I fell right back to sleep and immediately was standing in the hallway, lucid! This time I was blind in my left eye again. I actually put my fingers on my left eye, to feel if maybe the lid was glued shut. It was. I tryed to pry it open, but each time it snapped back shut. I thought to myself, "Hrmm, all this time I wasn't lucid blind, just lucid winking lol." Then I woke up. Fell asleep, woke up in bed again. Dark again, so I knew I was dreaming again. I was a little frustrated that all these dreams were so short, but thankful that I was popping back into them lucid each time. Still set on the TOTM, I decided to try to use a mirror to find a vampire. Guess which lucid prop decided to finally cock block me. I tried 2 mirrors, and one reflective picture frame, and each time, the mirror pivoted instead of letting me pass through. In retrospect, maybe the space behind could have acted as a portal, since the mirror always pivoted into a dark cube of space in the wall. Anyway, I was too focused on solving the issue, so I just went out the front door again. I still had my flashlight and was shining it all over the lawn, asking "Any vampires out here? Helloooooooo?" Something in my front yard quickly passed through the cone of light from my flashlight, and started to hurry away. The surprise made me drop my flashlight. I said "Hey, stop!" The figure stopped and came toward me, and I struggled to make out his features in the moonlight. He stepped right in front of me and I could see him better. He was a young guy, in his 20's maybe, wearing jeans, a blue hoodie, shoulder-length wavy brown hair. And damn sexy. I asked him if he was a vampire. He smiled and said "yes," and I could see a flash of white, pointy teeth. I said "you can bit me if you want." He asked "Are you sure?" I said "Do it, it's for an experiment." So he said "Okaaaay...." and tipped my head to the left. (Interesting note I just realized: the vampire chic in the last dream went for the opposide side of my neck than the dude.) He bit down on my neck in the traditional spot, and again, it didn't feel like a puncture, more like a super hot hickey. Wow. You guys seriously gotta try this! Then he just slowly urged me down on the grass, and without breaking the bite, started removing our clothes. HELL yeaaaah. I really wanted it. But then I remembered I wanted to see the transition even more than vampire sex ( maybe next time). So I pushed him off and said "Sorry" and ran into the house. I went into the hall bathroom which was already lit up, praise goodness. I looked at my reflection and saw the bite marks, same as last time. I reached up and could feel them too, a little gross but no blood. I felt awakeness start to pull me (ffffuuuuu!), and I woke up, with the image of my reflection staring back at me, burned into my mind. I immediately went back to sleep (I can only thank my new found ability to ignore feelings of disappointment or dispair in LDs, as they deter from goals. If only I could apply this irl.) Anyway, sure enough, I went right back into the dream staring at my reflection.. same pose and everything, and completely lucid (that's a lucid first for me!) I was determined not to let this one go without experiencing the transition, since I remembered everything from the previous dreams at that point. I opened my mouth and stared at my teeth. After a few moments, my incisors lengthened and sharpened, but they looked like they had rotated 90 degrees. That's odd. I kept watching and those same incisors grew a little longer, and additional sharp growths sprouted from them. I watched as the other teeth did the same thing. I looked at my irises, hoping for some bad ass color change, but they stayed normal. Lol the ONE TIME. I stepped back a bit and opened my mouth a little wider, to see all my teeth. Every one of them was sharp, with tiny barbs protruding from each one. That would make a hell of a bite I'd say! The last thing I saw from that dream before waking up, was staring at my creepy new teeth, with a big wide grin. I fell back to sleep for what would be the last lucid of the morning. I appeared in the same bathroom, fully lucid. I remembered all the vampire stuff, and even wondered if it would count since it was split up. I looked at my teeth to make sure they were still monstrous, and they were. So I thought I'd add a bonus to this task and go find some hot guy to bite. I left the bathroom, and now the hall looked like the hall of a university building. There were open doors, and rooms full of college students. I walked by one open door and a cute guy was standing right at the opening, so I grabbed his arm and pulled him down the hall. I found an open storage closet with a chair covered in a sheet, and I threw him down on the chair. We started making out, and I shouldn't have started with that, because it just made me horny. I started taking his pants off, then mine. I convinced myself that I could have both: the sex and the bite. I was greedy, because I woke up before I could have either. DAMNIT. But also yay!
Had a fun morning! After I got Chris off to school at 7:20am, I went back to bed. It was easily over an hour before I finally got to sleep. I wasn't asleep long i don't think before waking up briefly. I was pretty relaxed and drowsy and got the vibrations pretty quickly. I waited for what I can only assume is the allotted time before opening my eyes. When I did, of course the room looks pretty normal, so I'm always careful about getting out of bed at this point. I looked on Danny's side of the bed, and saw something strange just below his pillow. I picked it up, and it was a black and white dog collar that we do not own. So yay, good enough for me! I got up, and left the bedroom. (If I remember next time, I'm going to just phase through a wall or window, and skip all this going through the house stuff. It takes up too much time and there are often too many distracting oddities). I thought about doing the trick-o-treat TOTM again. So on my way out I saw Danny in the livingroom, and to avoid a distracting confrontation, I just said, without even making eye-contact "Gotta go outside for a bit baby" and went out the front door. But when I did, I magically came IN to the house from the back door lol. I was a little worried that I might have a problem with this. But I just marched through the house, went out the front door and this time I was in the front yard. And it was night, perfect! I went straight to the house across the street and knocked on the door. A lady opened the door, looked a bit like my neighbor, and I said "Trick-o-treat! Does a DreamViews member live here?" She didn't answer me so I just barged inside. I saw a couple other people, and I said "Are any of y'all DV members?" They all said no, but one of them pointed to a room around the corner and said "He is. He's Greg LastNameUndisclosed" I said "I know him, that's Oneironaut Zero!!" So I ran around the corner, and sitting on the edge of the fireplace hearth was a very sick looking African-American man. Didn't look like O at all really, but I said "Greg?" and he said "Yeah?" I got real close to him, he was wearing a really nice yellow button up shirt, and I asked him if he was ok because he looked sick. I can't remember his answer. Anyway, I left because I wanted to try more houses! I skipped a couple houses down, and knocked on the door and said "Trick-o-treat" when a lady answered. She started to actually give me some candy but I said I don't want it, and asked if anyone from DV lived here. She pointed to a 17-year-old African-American girl sitting on the couch. She said her DV name was 'Trice (like short for Patrice). So I told her I'm so looking that up on DV when I wake up. Then I woke up. I got vibrations again almost right away, and when I opened my dream eyes, I did it real slowly and I could just make out an odd blue crate on top of the covers. Thanks again subC . So I got out of bed, and I noticed a door in the bedroom which leads outside, but doesn't exist in real life. So I went out the door, and it led me to a balcony. When I looked down, I saw that I was impossibly high up. When I saw the ground, it looked miles away, like it does when you look out of an airplane window. So then I looked up, and GUESS WHAT?! I was in that beautiful multicolored villa from a couple weeks ago, the one I was trying to get to!! I couldn't believe it. I looked around, there should have been a silver palace to my left, but I couldn't see it, plus there were some clouds obscuring my view in that direction. I looked to my right and there was the city, several really huge, shiny skyscrapers. I was ecstatic. I looked up again so I could admire the beautiful building I was visiting, then I woke up. To bad I wasn't there longer, I might have remembered that Wonka-style elevator and gone for a ride haha!
I believe I had my first true DEILD this morning. I'll try to remember the details (it happened sometime between 7:30am - 9am), and I slept way in after that, so I don't remember a ton of details. But I know I had vibrations 3 times, and each time I went straight into a dream where I was in my bed and had to think for a bit to make sure I wasn't really awake (my room is starting to look too correct lol). There was literally seconds between each dream, where I didn't move, just felt the vibrations and immediately went into the dream. I also did the advanced TOTM! It was just a little blurry and pretty short because of how unnerving it was. At any rate, I woke up at 5am, went back to sleep, then 6am, sleep, 6:45am, sleep, 7:15am, sleep (lol, school mornings are rough). When I went to bed at 7:30am, I was so tired by this point that I felt the vibrations come on only after a few minutes of just laying there. I waited until I could start to see a picture, and I opened my eyes. It was my room, and again with the strange orangeish light that's almost my only giveaway that I'm dreaming. Still, I get up very slowly just in case. I look at my hands, and the tip of my right ring finger is missing which confirmed lucidity. I give everybody a good wiggle and leave the bedroom. Not thinking of the TOTM right away I decide to go outside and have a look around. I feel like flying (I don't usually, but now I'm starting too more. I think that's good because I bet I'll get to see and do more stuff this way hehe). I shoot straight up and as soon as I can see over the houses, I notice a huge river that doesn't exist irl. Then I think of the advanced TOTM and I bet I can manipulate this river into a cretaceous ocean once I'm underwater. Ever since I chickened out in my last attempt, I formed a plan: find water again, have a cage or some kind of underwater enclosure that lets me see but not get hurt, and one of those electrocutey things. It's a tall order I admit, but I'm really determined! Anyway, I flew up to the river bank, and I noticed a partially sunken inflatable blue canoe, big enough for one. I landed next to it, pulled it out and it immediately popped into shape. I sat down inside it, and it shoved itself on down the river. I willed it to form a glass shell over the top, which it did (but it didn't close properly, which I will discover later). I forgot about the weapon, oops. To my right in my new "sub" is a little control panel with a few unmarked buttons. I pretend I'm punching a combination for "The Cretaceous Period" and I say it aloud as I'm pushing the buttons. The submarine sinks to the ocean floor, and it's brown and murky and a bit hard to see (a little visual snowish). But I squint and pay close attention and move forward across the prehistoric ocean floor, looking for life. Sure enough, I see something that looks like an alligator at first, but as it got closer I noticed it was a mosasaur*. It was weaving left and right along the ocean floor, then it saw me. It paused for a moment and looked at me and I froze. It looked angry, like it wanted to get to me but didn't bother trying because I was protected. Then it swam off. A whole school of mosasaur came next, weaving back an forth like the first, all in unison. They all swam past my little nautilus, and each and every one looked at me all pissed in the same way as the first, then continued on. I was so scared, I thought I would wake up. Then they were gone, and I decided that was good enough for the task and I willed the sub to resurface. As it was moving up, it started filling with water. I just hoped it would make it up before I drowned. It didn't. But I was able to breath, I just wasn't breathing water. It felt like there was always a mask of air in front of my face, and water never came inside (which is actually normal for even my nonlucid underwater dreams, there's always a bit of air there). I could see the glimmer of the water's surface just above me when I woke up. I felt vibrations right away, and knowingly phased into an LD in my room the same way. I got up and thought of the basic task (greedy). Already I wasn't sure how this was going to work, so I just left the bedroom and went to the living room. I stood in front of the piano and said "shrink" but nothing happened. I said it again, but this time I squatted down on the floor at the same time, hoping my subC would fill in the blanks lol. Nothing. So then I remembered someone on DV saying to just make everything around you grow instead. So I willed the furniture to grow, and all that happened was they stayed the same size, but the legs got really long lol. Then I woke up. That one is going to be way hard for me. I'm going to need a plan again, like maybe using a mirror portal or going up a beanstalk haha. Same transition again (I'm already thinking how cool it's going to be to blog the fact that I did a true DEILD, as well as noticing that the 2nd was shorted than the first. So this one may end up being even shorter, oh well). Again, I "awoke" in my bed immediately lucid, got up, left the room and headed for the living room. I saw Danny (irl he's at work). I was glad I saw the DC version of him, because we had a bad fight last night irl, but this DC doesn't know that hehe. I hugged him and he bit my hand, demon style. I slapped him on the side of his head, and he returned to normal. I said "Let's go outside." We went to the front yard. It was cool, and cloudy. I said, "I can fly, want to come with me?" He said sure. I got behind him, and put my arms around his chest and locked my fingers. With effort, I jumped straight up, and we started to sink immediately. He was so heavy! I forced us to go higher, which worked, but it was hard to steer with Danny in my arms. We were heading straight for some trees, but I forced us to the right as hard as I could. I said "It's really hard to steer while holding you." But I managed to get us up higher, and over the houses. I said "Want to see something cool? Just over those houses is a really big river!" So I flew us to the river so he could see it. We just hovered over the rooftops, watching the water move for a few moments, then I woke up. Gucci was barking irl so I got up and let him in. I went back to sleep and had a few FAs, all related to confronting Danny about our fight last night. That's all there was. *edit: not pliosaurs, they were mosasaurs. I googled different ones and it was the mosasaur that were more alligator-looking.

Alright I have a TON of notes for this one, because several important things happened to me in the course of about 10 minutes. For time's sake, and the sake of recollection, I'll go straight into describing the dream. I was dreaming about being in our backyard, and looking at what damage the drought as caused some of the plants. I noticed that one of my bushes had spontaneously grown tomatoes in the center, though it was not a tomato vine. I poked at one. Then I noticed one of the citrus trees looked dry as usual, and the ground surrounding it also dry. But it was mysteriously missing it's little decorative brick border. Also, it was too close to the fence all of the sudden. I looked at the place it should have been, and there was an entirely different plant (like a basket topiary), in its place with the brick border. I thought, "This isn't right, OH I'm dreaming!!" This next moment is extremely important.: Right after becoming lucid, and for the few seconds before remembering that I want to complete a TOTM, I became very aware of the fact that I had only fallen asleep a minute before. And while the transition was by no means perfectly seamless, as there were a few moments where I couldn't account for the time exactly, and I had blacked out a little. I'll explain in a bit why I know how much time had elapsed, and why this is important. Anyway, moving on. I remembered the advanced task of the month almost immediately, as the thought of completing the basic task flashed through my mind. However, I knew I didn't have much time (you'll see why in a minute), and the fact that I was in the garden was going to make it hard to find a pen and paper. So in a panic, I willed something, anything to write with, to appear. A Bic, black ink pen appeared on the ground. YESSSSS I thought. I grabbed it, and not even bothering to look for paper, I tried to write something on my arm. I was able to scratch my arm a little, which hurt, but the ink wouldn't come out or show up on my arm. I wishfully looked at a table on the back porch, and I saw a pice of ripped manilla paper that Chris usually likes to doodle on. Double YESS! I ran and grabbed it, and quickly scribbled on it, and it worked. So I tried to think of something to write from my waking life, and the first thing that popped into my head was "Last night, I cooked chicken for dinner." I even recollected quite clearly the actual dish, as it was something I had never made before. I wanted the sentence to be simple though, and started to write, "Last night, I.." Then I got distracted by some scribbling that was on the top of the paper already. I don't remember what it said, but when I looked back to the sentence I was writing, it was all gibberish. I scratched it out and tried it again, just under my first attempt. Exact thing happened again haha! So this time, I made myself focus on the task. I mean, we're talking pain in the brain, making myself focus on writing this tiny little sentence without getting distracted. I finally got it all written out, and I remember being ecstatic that I completed both tasks within the first week of the month. Then Danny's snot rocket ritual (in real life) woke me up momentarily. I fell back to sleep, and again lost a little consciousness, and reappeared in the garden. I became instantly lucid again, because all the plants were jacked up in the same way. And this time Jason (RareCola) was there. This is also important for 2 reasons which I'll get to later. I was so excited to see him and show him the "journal". In this second lucid, it actually had grown from a simple piece of ripped paper, to a big book that looked like something that would be on Harry Potter's bookshelf. I opened it to the first page, and there was my waking life entry! Although, it now said "Lst nghnit, I cked CHKN fr dnnr," though imagine that with some Ns and Rs backwards. I explained to Jason that this happens apparently if you look away, then back again, at my journal. Then I turned some pages and there were drawings that Chris had made of bears, and dogs, and other animals. Same magic. If I looked at a bear, then turned the book around, then looked at the bear again, it changed. It looked all poofy, like it got its tail stuck in an electrical outlet. Same thing for each animal drawing, and I showed each one to Jason, who found it remarkable. At this point in time I think my lucidity became a bit hazy, but then I got it back, or I woke up briefly then fell back to sleep and got lucid again. Which one I can't recall, but I DO recall being lucid again, and going inside the house, being so proud of my TOTM accomplishments. I decided it was time to celebrate, since I couldn't really think of anything else to do. So I summoned a DC and we got it on. I actually awoke from that final lucid, because my DC and I heard a soft buzzing noise. I told him, "Oh that's just Danny in real life, brushing his teeth with the electric toothbrush." Then I woke to the sound of the electric toothbrush. Now, how did I know exactly how much time had passed in these lucid dreams, and furthermore, how did I know that I had little time before the dream would end? First, we set our alarm this morning for 6:30am. And Danny ALWAYS gets up first (because his bathroom ritual takes about 10 minutes, whereas mine takes 5 or less). At any rate, it's always the same ritual: 1. Peepee for 2 minutes (I swear he has a horse bladder), 2. Snotrockets in the sink (3 minutes), 3. Wash face and comb hair (3 minutes), and 4. Electric toothbrush (2 minutes). Then the bathroom door opens and it's time for me to get up. So, when I first became lucid, I knew it had to be between 6:30 and 6:40, because after the alarm went off and Danny went into the bathroom, I tried to sleep in for those 10 minutes, and I felt some mild vibrations. When Danny's snotrockets woke me up after the first dream, and I went right into the next lucid dream, I know I had maybe 5 minutes left (hair, face, and toothbrush). Next, why was RareCola's presence so important? First of all, the advanced task was his idea. And it's particularly noteworthy that he just realized in real life, that I don't actually keep a written dream journal (only online). Also, the night before this lucid sequence, Jason and I were talking about the subtle differences between a DEILD chain, and simply having multiple DILDs. I realized that I was really having the latter, because I couldn't honestly recall a single instance where I truly went from conscious wakeful awareness, to a lucid dream, without skipping a beat. There has always been a few moments of time, and fuzziness, and unconsciousness that I couldn't account for. So when I became lucid in that very first DILD, I couldn't help but think of our conversation, and I made that attempt to bring, into this DILD, the analysis of how I became lucid, and of how long it took (which I knew because of Danny's ritual), and of how I could really concretely admit that there was a moment of loss of awareness between those vibrations, and being in the garden and not lucid, then lucid moments later (holy run on sentence batman!). Finally, I find it truly remarkable, that a DC and I both heard Danny's electric toothbrush, and I had the true, acceptance of what this was. I was in a dream, and my body was in bed, and my sleeping ears were gradually picking up more and more of the sound of his toothbrush in the bathroom. I felt like I existed simultaneously on two planes, if only for a few seconds. I managed to stuff a shit ton of activities in just 10 minutes!
I managed to go to bed at 11:45pm, but I don't think I fell asleep until a little after midnight. Then I woke up around 3am, and had trouble getting to sleep (weird heart palpitations, not a racing heart, but it felt like it was doing somersaults in my chest.. not painful, but disturbing and annoying). What followed next was a series of nonlucids and more importantly, false awakenings. I needed to wake up irl for work by 5am, so I kept dreaming that the alarm had woken us up, or that we slept in, that I suddenly owned a clock radio that kept coming on and Dean Martin was singing Christmas Carols. Finally I had a FA where I had gotten up before Danny (ALWAYS the other way around, and I questioned this), let out the dogs and started getting my food ready for my long work shift. I reached up for something behind the stove, and accidentally knocked a blue pot off it's hook. It fell partway behind the stove, so I'm struggling to get it and hang it back up... when I think to myself "I don't own this blue pot, where the hell did this thing come from?" I kinda stood there for a few seconds, holding the pot, a little confused, then boom! "Abandon this project, I'm dreaming! " I stood in the kitchen, kinda bouncing with excitement, trying to remember the basic TOTM. It hit me right away, "Perform Surgery!!" One issue with this task is if you want to go full on and transport to a hospital, it may take a bit of time and control, and I wasn't sure what time it was irl. The alarm could go off at any moment, so I wanted to waste no time whatsoever. So I went to the living room couch and tried to summon a patient. Nothing. I went to my son's room, hoping to find a patient sleeping in there. I found Chris asleep in there, but no way was I going to perform surgery on him. At no time did I loose lucidity, I even remembered that he was at my mom's irl, but no way am I gonna cut up my son in a dream. And you can cross Danny off that list as well. I went back to the kitchen, trying to figure out what I was going to do, when I glanced at the window and saw the reflection of a man behind me!! I whipped around and it was a tall, slender Hispanic man with a very pallid expression on his face. I asked him right away "Are you here for some surgery?" He said "Yeah." I said, "Well you're in luck, because I'm a wiz with knives," and I proceeded to the kitchen and grabbed my chef knife, fillet knife, and paring knife. I told him to lie on the couch and explain to me what was wrong. He said that a previous doctor had fixed a "kink" in his intestines with a bandaid, and put a little microchip in there as well. I guess to monitor the kink or something. He said the microchip was causing him extraordinary pain and wanted it removed. He laid down on the couch for a moment, then got up and said he was going to his car real quick because he brought his own anesthetic. I told him that's fine, I have some too just in case (I knew I didn't have any, so I was going to just put water in a little flask and will it to work as anesthesia). He came back and said he didn't bring it, so I went to the kitchen and got the water. I held it up and said "I will this water to act as an anesthetic." It didn't look any different, but I didn't care. I wasn't the one who was going to drink it! I gave it to the man and he took a swallow, but choked on it a little bit. Then he took his shirt off and laid back down. It looked like he was drifting off a bit, but he was kinda restless. So I starting rubbing his chest gently, speaking softly, "Sleep, sleeeeeeeeep..." Of course this action produced an erection and I took advantage of it a little bit. I'll skip those details. (I was hoping it would help him pass out!!) It didn't work, he was still conscious. He even asked me if after the surgery, maybe we go out to dinner sometime lol. I said suuuure, why not. He wasn't going completely out, and I was running out of time. So I said I need to start cutting anyway, but he'd be just fine. I held him down with one hand, took the little pairing knife with the other, cringed, and made an incision in his belly. He groaned in pain and tried to sit up, but I pushed him back down. There was no blood. But I could immediately see the loop of intestine with the bandaid. Turned out it was kinda good that he was still conscious, because he was able to talk me through it a bit, and didn't seem to be in pain anymore. (I guess my subC is too squeamish.) I pulled out the little loop of intestine, and noticed the little microchip, which looked more like a tiny stone, sandwiched between 2 of the baindaids. He said just to remove the chip and leave the bandaid, so I did. I was just about to push the intestine back in and sew him back up, when Danny coughed irl and woke me up. Still success! I can't believe I could cut the guy, especially while he was conscious! Surgery went well overall I'd say though.
This one's going to be a doozy, mainly because I had long DEILD chain, and I can't remember everything in perfect order, but I'll do my best. First I want to admit, that I took a 5-HTP last night before bed, around 1am. This is after not taking it for about 2 weeks I think? I woke up the first time at about 7:15am when Danny got home from his night shift. He had to take his daughter to her mom's, and they left the house at about 8:30am, which woke me up again for a moment and I think that's when I went pee. I woke up again around 9 or 9:30, and that's when the crazy vibrations started. These were so odd. First, the vibrations were all over my body, and had a really strong electrical feeling.. not to the point of uncomfortable, but almost. And they came in waves. At the height of the waves the first few times, it was accompanied by the most horrific screaming.. like a man who was a combination of psychotic, homicidal, and in maximum pain. It was horrible. But I knew it wasn't real, and it would fade eventually. After a few seconds, the waves were just vibrations, but I could control them with just my thumbs. Kind of hard to explain, but when ever the vibrations would subside, I could intensify them by curling my thumbs in. I've been able to do this in the past with just my mind, but this is the first time I could with bodyparts. Kinda cool. I was getting a little frustrated though, because the last 3 times I've had the vibrations, no Julio and no DEILD. just vibrations then oblivion. So I just kept curling my thumbs and hoping for the best. Finally I felt like some time had suddenly passed, and I was just lying in bed thinking of nothing, but I felt weird, like it could be a dream. I looked at my thumbs, which still had the tingly feeling form being connected to those vibrations. They looked all mangled and contorted, so I knew it was a dream! First thing I did was get out of bed, and TOTM immediately popped into my mind. Mirror time (I was so excited). I went to the hall bathroom, pitch black and the light switch didn't work (ffffuuuuuuu). Neither did clapping, shouting, gnawing hacking biting breaking burning (/LOTR). So I crawled up on the sink, opened the glass cover of the lights, beat the shit out of the lights until they came on, replaced the cover, and got back down. Nothing like a little lucid brute force . I looked in the mirror.. it looked like me but the hair was wrong. Anyway, I just pushed my head through the glass, and there was quick moment of feeling like I was sticking my head through a membrane of water, then I could see. My head and torso pushed through the membrane and appeared on the 2nd story balcony of a loft apartment, overlooking a restaurant by the ocean. I remember the rails on the balcony were unusual, they were the first thing I saw and noted. Anyway, there were 4 people sitting at the outside table of the restaurant. I yelled at them "Hey, where am I?" One lady yelled back at bit rudely "This is the FLORIDA KEYS!" I thought it was pretty cool, but kinda uninteresting. It was a cloudy day, and looked more like a dirtyish city than some tropical islands. So I popped back out of the mirror (I never went fully through). I saw my reflection again, and was excited because I succeeded AND because I was still lucid and hadn't woken up yet! I went back through the mirror again, only partially again, half expecting to see the same scene, half hoping it would be different. The front half of my body passed through the mirror again, and this time appeared inside a building. It was some kind of animal rescue or vet for exotic birds. There were no cages, just giant glass rooms. The place looked like it was funded pretty well, all clean and spacious. There were parrots and cockatiels and cockatoos, and birds of every color of the rainbow. And it sounded like I was in a rainforest with all the bird sounds. Some didn't fly, and just kinda walked around. I guess they were rescues who'd had their wings clipped. I'm not much of a bird person, so I left again. I think this is where I woke up and went back to sleep. Hard to remember, I may have in between the other 2 experiences too. I know I woke up and went back to sleep at least 2 more times, because I remember getting out of bed and thinking "YES I'm still DEILDing" a couple more times. I'm just fuzzy on the order, sorry about that. I had more luck with bathroom lights from here on though. I remember walking down the hall, and the bathroom door was closed. But I could see light peeking under the door. Thank you subconscious. I opened the door, plenty of light, and looked in the mirror. I noticed 2 cats I used to have were sitting on the bathroom sink, Henunu and Gepiepe. I gave them a few pats, then returned to the mirror. I pushed my head through and saw a really pretty creek that reminded me of the Guadalupe River, with lots of Cypress trees. And it was a beautiful, cool sunny day. I wanted to go all the way through and explore, but then I noticed the water. It was all green and murky, and looked too deep for the creek size. I said "HELL no" and popped back out. Then I thought, "Chicken." So I went back in, only partially (I have to remark at how easy it was to pass through the glass each time.. I had expected some resistance, but it was just like liquid. More thick than water, kind of like a gel), and I saw the same scene. I looked down, and I was right over the bank, and there were rocks below. So I picked up some rocks and threw them at the water to see if anything creepy would stir. I didn't notice anything, so I went completely through for the first time. I picked up the largest rock and carried it with me, just in case hehe. I just walked along the bank, and looked at the ground and the remarkable cypress roots, avoiding the water. Then I woke up. Again, hard to remember the exact order, but I remember going through 3 more times. I peeked through the mirror and found myself looking at the back of some chairs in a restaurant. It looked like teatime... oooo fancy! So I went through and sat at a table with 3 other women. They were passing around a menu and ordering tea sandwiches. I was the last one to get the menu, and before I could place my order, the first lady grabbed it out of my hands! Obnoxious looking rich blonde bitch. She said "Oh I'd like to go ahead and place my order for tomorrow as well." I yanked it right back out of her hands and said "Give me that back!" Then I just kinda looked at her for a minute, and she looked down. I said "This is stupid." And I got up and went to the bathroom, specifically with looking for a mirror in mind. There were several mirrors in the pretty little restaurant bathroom. I took the smallest one off the wall, it was just a thin rectangular mirror, trying to figure out how I was going to get through it. Then I heard a voice on the other side of the bathroom.. it was a lady sitting in a chair. She said "That bigger mirror would probably be better." Haha. So right. So I went through that one and found myself back on that 2nd story loft again, overlooking that restaurant again. The same rude lady was at the same table with her same friends, and she saw me and said "Yes, it's still the Florida Keys." And I screamed back at her "YEHAAAW!! THE FLORIDA FUCKING KEYS, HELL YEAHHHH!!" and came back out of the mirror. I went in one last time, from that same mirror I think, and came out in the most boring looking residential area I had ever seen. I thought, meh, why not. I walked around but the place seemed deserted. I went inside one house and didn't' see anyone. I started getting randy of course.. tis a side effect of lucidity for me I'm afraid. But since I was alone, I decided that I wanted to really see what my anatomy looked like when it changed to male parts. I won't go into detail, but I was looking in a full length mirror in one of the bedrooms, and I saw an awful lot. Finally a guy showed up a bit later and we had sex but I woke up half way through. The End, shit.
I had an impromptu WILD this morning. Hooray for sleep and 5-htp. I did my usual WBTB and went back to sleep around 8am, a little on the later side for me, but I was thinking about stupid stuff. A dog barked and woke me up. I was in the perfect sleepy state for a WILD, so I just relaxed, kept my eyes closed, and felt the vibrations come on. They waved over me a couple times, then I slipped into a dream. I 'awoke' in my bed, and Daisy jumped onto the bed with me. I knew it was a dream immediately because she never does that, and the door was closed anyway. Plus Daisy was outside irl. It was really fuzzy lucidity, and I had to lay on the bed for a bit, looking over my hands until things became clear. I commanded some lights to turn on which also helped my usual left-eye blindness. When things looked good, I gave Daisy a little pat, then I got up and left the room. I went outside and flew for a little while, really low to the ground. I like flying now, more control and no vertigo. After I did that for a bit I tried to remember the TOTM. So I looked on my porch and there was a little stuffed giraffe. I almost willed a Winnie the Pooh, my true favorite toy, but I changed my mind. I thought a giraffe would be better because I could try to ride it. So I picked it up and took it into the livingroom. I set him in the middle of the floor, stepped back, and did the hand stretchy thing that I usually do to stretch my DCs back to normal size after they shrink. He grew reaaaaaaallly big! And so fluffy! I just ran up to him and gave him a hug. I was scared for a minute because I was 100% sure he would bite me. He didn't. One would think that by worrying about it, I would make it happen anyway and ruin the whole thing. Lucked out somehow. Guess DD took the night off. Anyway, I went behind him and tried to jump on his back. It was so hard to stay on because his back, like a true giraffe, sloped down. I grabbed some of his mane, and he didn't seem to mind. Then he just took off out the front door, with me constantly slipping down the back, barely holding onto tufts of giraffe hair. After about a minute I was tired of getting hooved in the butt so I got off. I flew around some more, lost lucidity and woke up. I love giraffes!! They're hard to ride!! Some stupid hat dream too.
I'm really excited because I had a terrific LD where I completed the advanced task for the month, and then had a "date" with a certain velvety voiced potions master hehe. But I was tortured first by a DEILD Demon. here's the story: I saw Chris off to school in real life at 7:15 then went back to bed. I fell asleep and had some non-lucids that I don't remember. I woke up around 9:30 and was really groggy, so went immediately into some HI. Well sounds actually. I was lying on my side, and could hear voices in the room that I knew weren't really there. Then I felt the WILD vibrations, and felt the DEILD Demon "spoon" me from behind. As usual, I could feel him against my body, and his arms wrap around me, and took each of my hands. And it would be a romantic feeling, except he was growling. Like a mad dog! It was horrible. AND I had major sleep paralysis, and I almost never have sleep paralysis. I usually DEILD, and the dream chaining happens so fast I usually skip SP, or it's really brief and I barely notice it. But this time was different. I kept trying to wiggle, and press my butt against his crotch to have a little fun. But everytime I made any movement, it was so sluggish from the paralysis, and it would make him growl even louder. It was so scary because he was right behind me, and the growling was in my ear. I didn't want to piss him off too much, because I've had DEILD Demons bite me before. Plus I figured if I endured all this, I would eventually slip into a lucid. I went through several cycles of feeling vibrations, then the demon, growling at me if I tried to move, then I would partially wake up. I remember thinking to myself "I can't wait until I get lucid and hop out of my bed and this fucker will be gone!" FINALLY I woke up in my bed, but this time I was lying on my back. I got up, feeling that dreamy lucid feeling. Then my son came into the room, looking about 3 years younger than usual, and I knew I had already taken him to school a few hours earlier. I followed him out of my room, and willed his hair to turn blonde, then neon green. Lol, I just had to be sure I was lucid. When we got to the living room, I got so excited because the lucidity felt really strong, not like I was about to lose it or go blind. I saw a mirror and looked in it for the heck of it. I looked like me of course. I widened my eyes and got really close, and the irises went all green and sparkly as usual. I looked at Chris and said "I gotta remember what it was that I wanted to do!" I couldn't remember the basic task, but I remembered the Pegasus task! So I went out the front door, and it looked just like a block on Swiss Avenue. There were fancy cars rolling by, and some people on horseback. I also saw a few horses with noone on them. I thought to myself that I could easily turn one of these horses into a Pagasus. So I went to this brown quarter horse and got on top of his back. I told Chris to wait in the front yard (he had already turned into a passive DC, you know, just kinda there. Which is good because I don't want to freak out and lose lucidity if I see something bad happen to my son, DC or not). So I told this horse very nicely, that he needed to grow some wings so we could fly around. He sprouted these small, triangular wings with brown feathers that matched his coat. I pet his mane and said that we're not going to be able to get off the ground with those. So he started flapping them, and the wings grew with each flap. He started to trot down Swiss, flapping the whole way, until it turned into a gallop and we took off into the air! It felt just like I would have imagined. I guess it helps that I've ridden horses IRL, so my subconscious didn't have to invent too much. We rose above the trees, but didn't go much higher than that. This is the moment where I gave him a name, BUT I FORGOT IT It was something cool and Mythological, like Orpheus or something. Or it might have been Bobby. At any rate, we flew parallel to Swiss for a minute or so, then circled around and came back. I didn't want to go for too long, because I wanted to do other things, so I leaned forward to make him land. I'm really impressed that I didn't get vertigo like I usually do when I fly alone in LDs. I think I just felt more grounded because I was sitting on a horse. Well, Pegasus Still, I didn't get those woozy butterfly feelings in my gut, so I'm super happy about that. We landed in front of the house and I patted the Pegasus's butt. His wings shrunk back down to nothing and he just walked off and rejoined some horses on Swiss like it had never happened. What an obedient guy, I couldn't have asked for a more tame Pegasus. I saw Chris still in the yard. I said "Did you see that Chris!!" He said "Yeah!" We went back inside and I got excited again, because my lucidity wasn't going anywhere. What a treat! I paced around, trying to remember the other main thing on my list. To get some Snape loving. Teehee I know, I'm a goober. So I told Chris that I'm expecting someone over for a date so he needed to go to bed. Even before I finished saying that, I heard a knock at the door!. Chris disappeared into his room, and I went back to that same mirror and fixed my hair. But it was lucid magic: I just moved my hands around my head without touching a hair, and it all just piled on top of my head in a loose and sexy bun, with little ringlets trailing down my collarbone. Sweet. I looked at the window by the front door, and could see the silhouette of Severus Snape, peeking in to see if anyone was there. Impatient much? I went to the door and opened it, looking at my hands on the way, just in case. It really and truly looked like him. Normally I have to fix stuff but not this time. He said hello and embraced and kissed me. His voice was spot on. He did get kinda raunchy though. He sat down, whipped it out and demanded that I perform oral sex. I was obedient of course. After a moment he did start to slowly vanish away. Noooooooooo. So this is where I would normally shout and scream and stomp, trying to actively strengthen the lucidity, but this time I tried something different. I don't know why, it just came to me. I hugged him really hard and said "Say something!" My ear was pressed against his chest, and he said, in those rich velvety tones "It's ok, I'm still here" and I could feel his entire body return to its normal self. Kinda hard to describe. It was really vivid though, I remember the feeling of my face buried in thick black robes, and how his entire chest vibrated when he spoke, just like I always imagined it would be. Fuck this is a long post. Anyway, I resumed the you-know-what, and he started making these really hot grumbly groaning noises. Like, he was so turned on by what I was doing, he stopped me and decided to go for the gold. He pushed me down on a couch, and spread my legs apart. I was wearing jeans and he didn't bother taking them off. Or taking his clothes off. Somehow, magically, he just created a hole in the crotch of my jeans (damn I'm getting all bothered again just typing this). Talk about easy access hahaa! What a wizard. So he went to town on me (I'm trying not to be so x-rated here), grunting and groaning in that gravely voice the whole time. That's some hot shit right there I gotta tell you what. I came in like 10 seconds. He made a sound like he did too, but the dream was fading. I guess I was done hehe. He just kinda collapsed on me. I was touching a piece of the fabric of his black cloak, and rubbing it between my fingers when I woke up. And I woke up with a SMILE.
I was starting to get worried. Been having a lucid dry spell lately, and the end of the month is just around the corner, but a lucky DILD saw me through it! I was in our back yard with my son around dusk, and for some reason I brought out a large fish bowl with an odd creature inside. It looked like a white cat that had wing/flap thinks similar to a sting ray. It was dead, but perfectly preserved in the liquid inside the bowl. My son asked "What if it's still alive mommy?" I said "It can't be sweetie, it's been in this bowl, dead for years." Then the creature's eyes opened, and it rotated around in the bowl slowly to look at us. The eyes blinked a few times, and I could tell that it was breathing inside the liquid. I was thinking about how to save the thing's life, and then HOW the fuck is this thing even alive? And I said "Oh, it's not, I'm dreaming wooHOOOOOO" I immediately got up and started pacing, way to excitedly. I remembered the last DEILD chain I had where I kept waking up because I didn't calm down. So I looked at my hands for about a minute, turning them around, and calming down. I always have the most perfect manicure in my LDs, I don't know why. Love it. I remembered that I wanted to do the lucid task of the month before the month was over, so I looked on the ground for a shadow. Fortunately, even though it was late, the backyard flood lights in my dream were working, you know, the kind that makes you have like 5 different shadows. So I squatted down on the ground and grabbed the middle shadow by the foot, and ripped it off. The shadow began to slowly crawl up the side of the house, then it darted around the corner to the side of the house. I chased it all the way to the front yard and caught it. But then I started to get blind in my left eye again. I even tested it: I closed my left eye, I could see just fine. I closed my right eye, and I couldn't see at all, and I could feel the dream start to slip. So I clapped my hands and yelled "More lucidity, and more LIGHT please." It came back a little bit, but it was still kinda hazy. Then I woke up. I should have looked at my hands again, or looked for a mirror. I'll remember next time, I'm getting good at remembering what I need to in my LDs. I'm super proud of myself, the last task of the month I accomplished was back in 2005 or so, when Seeker challenged us to chase a duck. And even then, I think I was only able to form one out of clay. Don't think I actually chased it. Note to self: I fell asleep around 2am, woke up at 7am to feed the dogs, went back to sleep at about 7:45, and woke up from the LD at 11am.
