I've never shot guns in real life, and I think thats part of the issue. When I shoot people in dreams, nothing happens. Its really frustrating. I usually manifest the gun by pretending to shoot, then I end up with a gun in my hand, but its useless because I fire it directly at the DC, and the bullet seems to miss them.
