Thread: What game are you currently playing?

What you let Oblivion ruin Morrowind? Impossible, Morrowind was awesome, I noticed that the game series since those days has kinda been dumbed down, for more casual gamers. I miss having such a big selection of things to use weapons wise and enchanting. Oh and Spell making, and how many different pieces of armour there is. Levitation there are alot of things Kool in morrowind that the newer two excluded. I also miss the spears. Good to see dawngaurd added some crossbows though,, but where are my throwing knives and stars?

Just played through the second Walking Dead episode--pretty cool. It reminded me of a certain set of missions in Fallout 3.

I did it too yesterday... even while the save bug messed up my game and i had Doug instead of Carly...

But this second episode was much much better than the first in my opinion

I started off with daggerfall now that had alot of skills . Jumping skill, etiguette skill, dodging skill, backstabbing skill. I remember even having a giantish skill (WTF?). But for me oblivion was the last straw of dumbing down and now in skyrim there is no journal, no conjuration and no spellmaking, Mage characters dont really exist anymore.

Battlefield 3, Battlefield 2142, Rage, Dead Island, Dead Space, Left 4 Dead 2 (all on PC)

Anyone remember dead rising. Now they were awesome games, beating down zombies with a cactus

Never played Daggerfall, sounds pree awesome though. How is conjuration dead? oh and in Skyrim did you play very far as a mage, because I think its my favourite to make a mage class so far, just because the spells get awesome the stronger they get, Like I love how destruction has a spell that makes the element have a little storm around your guy, and the Ice spells start leaving icicles left behind on the ground for them to step on afterwards. IDK they are all really fun games, but I can see how Bethesda has been dumbing them down for more casual gamers. I mean I remember them talking when It came out how they fused a few of the mage skills because It was confusing people...

It aint a great game at the time it was alright but the entire landscape is generated. Conjuration is dead because the summons are terrible. In oblivion you could summon basically every single monster. It was great cranking up the difficulty and fighting along a daedroth ( deadric dragon-alligator ).
Here's how daggerfall's terrain looks. Defintelly worth a play for the the laughs.

Yeah and it uses lots of repeated environment too. That's the reason why it's so big

Man, I love BattleField 3. Though I for the most part just hog the jets and kill anything that appears in the skies. Though I have gotten laser guided missiles so I can actually take out tanks and what not. P.S Don't underestimate the jets machine gun. If you know how to use it, it's deadly.

YES.
I used to be (kind of am still at times) a huge Touhou fanboy.
They're the only games I can keep playing for a long time. Ten Desires and UFO are the only games out of the 7 that I haven't beat on Hard.

And I almost beat Mountain of Faith on Lunatic once. (The game says I beat it but that is because of glitches)

Worst part about this is I've been in this exact situation twice.

Everything about the Touhou universe is just so great. The characters, the music, the games themselves. ZUN is my god.

I have given up on trying to be the best Balrog on XBL for SSF4AE2012, so I redboxed Max Payne 3 and really enjoyed it. I think I will start a GF subscription or buy the game at the next price drop.

Aeon, but I ended up deleting it since it's a complete grind fest. Now I'm on the lookout for a new online game though.

Oh I've been meaning to give Max Payne 3 a shot! Is it really that good?

Recently I've been playing Kid Icarus Uprising and It's really awesome. I've already beat the story mode and now I'm trying to 100% and clear all chapters on the highest intensity... It's really hard. The online mode is also pretty fun.

Just returned to play warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne XD. I have missed this old game ^^

I just decided to watch the scariest part of F.E.A.R 2 again:



I played this part at 2AM in total darkness... i was shaking with fear and i even started swearing when i reached the part where the doors start slamming... I almost never swear, but that was too intense, lol.


Makes me sad that they dumbed down F.3.A.R... or at least that's what i heard. I didn't try it yet.
