      Question Was This Sleep Paralysis?

I had this dream where I was sitting on a bed and then a bird flew up to me and bit my neck, then all of a sudden, I feel like I'm fly up towards my ceiling and down back to my bed really fast, and I was vibrating very very fast... It was awesome, but was that SP?

EDIT: I don't think I was able to move..

From your description, it sounds more like you were experiencing REM atonia.

Sleep paralysis itself is a sleeping disorder that is more commonly associated with frightening hallucinations and a sense of dread (though I suppose they are not mutually exclusive, from my own experiences with it). The vibrations can occur with both SP and REM atonia, but if you've had no prior experiences of sleep paralysis then I'd say that you most likely don't have the disorder.

Hmm maybe some stage of it? I know I get those when im on a cozy chair or coach, the tv or some background noise is going on. When I wake up my whole body is slightly tingling. Its usually scary like I get stabbed or fall but sometimes its something very pleasurable like a cool breeze on me or another good feeling . So I don't know, I think that this is similar though.

Sounds like HI. All SP involves is the inability to move while trying to wake up or go to sleep.
