No noise in dreams?

I was reading a thread about people's conversation with dream characters and realized in my whole life I've never had a conversation with a dream character. Most communication is done through feelings, kind of like telepathically. Anyone else have this happen to them?

I tend to remember myself communicating verbally with DCs, but I've never actually payed attention to see if their lips are moving etc. so who knows! When I first read the title of the thread, I thought it was referring to actual noise though. I don't experience that in dreams... Sound I hear is usually coming from something my dream is focused on, not from somewhere in the background.

I used to think the same thing. It was like I remembered what they said, I just couldn't remember them moving their lips, or even their voice. I recently had a very lucid dream and in that dream I could remember them saying things just like in real life. These very vivid dreams and most lucid dreams are much better with dialog.

My DCs usually talk to me, and I can see their faces moving, their expressions, and their movements. I never have telepathic conversations with them.
