I tend to remember myself communicating verbally with DCs, but I've never actually payed attention to see if their lips are moving etc. so who knows! |

I was reading a thread about people's conversation with dream characters and realized in my whole life I've never had a conversation with a dream character. Most communication is done through feelings, kind of like telepathically. |

I used to think the same thing. It was like I remembered what they said, I just couldn't remember them moving their lips, or even their voice. I recently had a very lucid dream and in that dream I could remember them saying things just like in real life. These very vivid dreams and most lucid dreams are much better with dialog. |

"Don't kill me. I'm in a dream right now, and if you kill me I'll die in real life too!" -Me, age 5-8, talking to a dinosaur.
My DCs usually talk to me, and I can see their faces moving, their expressions, and their movements. I never have telepathic conversations with them. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
