Yeah, I'm starting to remember more to the point where I think I'm going to have to start jotting down bits and pieces as they come throughout the night, before "officially" waking up. |

"Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?"

I've gone on and off with one. When I had one, though, was when I had my only lucid dream. Then I dropped it, and haven't had one since. Recently started it back up again, though. |

I try to keep it, but I'm having bit trouble... Sometimes my dream scenery is so damn complex I have no idea how to describe it. I mean i could do it, but it would have to be veeeery long if i want to understand anything later. Other problem is that often I just remember too little about dream to make new entry to DreamJournal (program somebody made). I'm considering creating other journal for bits and pieces only, since I often use notebook first anyway and later just copy stuff into computer. |
|
I sure do. I write down my dreams in a little notebook I keep by my bed. I used to then flesh them out on Dream Views but haven't in over a year, although I continued to write in my notebook. I usually just write little notes. Now I'm trying to write more fleshed out versions of my dreams on Dream Views, because I found that helped me with my dream recall and lucid dreams. And it's fun to remember dreams! |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I keep a dream journal, even when I'm not updating online. If I stop, I'll lose all semblance of dream recall and control, followed by random nightmares out of the blue. |
|
I don't, even though i know i probably should. I'm really just not the kind of guy who likes to write. |
|
I do! I haven't updated my online journal in ages, but my bedside one is going strong. |
|
I use to.. then stopped. my recall went down the shitter. So now I'm going to keep consistent and write down everything! |

I did for about a month but then I got lazy. |

I got lazy and stopped for 4 months. These days I try, but my father wakes me up and he shouts, breaks into my room, switches the light... so I forget a good amount of details. |
|
I try to, though sometimes I slack off. The funny thing is, I have probably the same amount of LDs when I don't keep it until my recall totally fades. I even seem to always get a LD the day I return from a holiday. |
|
Lolwut.
I would recommend getting a digital voice recorder. If you wake up in the middle of the night, you can record the essential elements of the dream without turning on the light. It's easy then to get back to sleep. |
