I've known about lucid dreaming for years, and I've always known it was perfect for me. Having had a great dream recall pretty much all of my life as well as being an avid daydreamer, lucid dreaming seemed almost a must. |

Great! I love the enthusiasm! It's really time to show some initiative. No one can do this for me, I have to do this for me, but it's nice to know that there are others who have realized this recently. Who cares that it only took me a couple of years? ;] |
Spoiler for My Goals:
Good luck to you, I myself said the same thing not long ago. |
Thank you. Did you follow through? |
Spoiler for My Goals:
I want to do it too!! Last night I ALMOST had a breakthrough!! I'm pretty much just like you in this! |

also, jsut looked at your dream goals OP, i love harry potter!! that's a great idea, let's go beat up voldem- err..you know who. ;D |

I made the same commitment just last week. A few years ago, I was very intently trying to master lucid dreaming, but I quickly became distracted by other things and became too busy to continue. Not this time! |
Cue the training montage with "You're the best around" blasting in the background. |
I did this almost two years ago, and I renew the commitment fairly regularly. Since then, lucid dreaming has become something a bit more than just a hobby for me. I've gotten better at it, but I still need a lot of improvement. |
I will control lucid soon. Time to stop you from entering my mind randomly. |

Goals:
1. Attacking my enemies instead of running away from them~ Ultimately taking control of my dream situation.
2. Remember that I can always summon a shield around me to protect myself in dreams. No need to fear!
to me, you're committed when you've done it, hopefully you'll stick with it. The biggest problem is most people give up before real success happens. |
It is exhausting to do with the minimum amount of energy that we all are operating on at this moment. And thoughts take energy, and they cast shadows on awareness. |
Hmm, maybe we can use this thread to hold each other accountable. ;] |
Spoiler for My Goals:
I made this commitment a few months ago. I was doing really well having them at least every other day. But this week I started a new job and have only had 2 piece of crap lucids |
I'm thinking that it would go back to normal, if you're used to having them every other day. I would think that you would eventually adjust to the new environment and sleep patterns and get back on track, but the DJ is probably a good idea until you're at least settled. |
Spoiler for My Goals:
That was quite encouraging. Not that I lost motivation or anything, since I just recently started lucid dreaming at all |
Hehe, MischiefManaged.. would've never guessed that you're a HP fan ;]. Rowling really created a world to explore, which is why her universe would be a good place to start. Harry Potter really is magical. |
Spoiler for My Goals:
I've already been quite committed for a week or two now. In fact, I'm awake right now because I'm doing a WBTB. |
Like any other long term goal it needs to become a part of your day. We've got way too much sparetime over anyways, so what's 20 minutes extra gonna do? 20 minutes a day to have those amazing adventures in worlds with unlimited potential. Good luck! |
