Question Problems with Lucid Dream Control! :(

Hey! I'm lucid dream newbie, I've only had 3 LD's so far and the 3rd one (last night) I had my first flying dream (amazing!) I could only get so high though and I kinda found it hard to get off the ground :/

Also how do you teleport in dreams so you can go to new dreamscapes?

      thanks!!!

      P.S
all my LD's have been DILD's and maybe one WILD so far

I just imagine if I walkthrough that door I will apear somewhere I want to. You can use portals too or just close your eyes and imagine being somewhere else. Everyone does it in a different way you have to find something whats best for you
      Excuse my english

Don't worry! Flying after your third lucid is great work still. If you want to teleport, do what infisek said. You can also try spinning and imagining yourself teleporting while doing so.

Thanks guys! part of the problem I think is not beleving it is possible lol because I'm new to the whole concept of LD'ing and having only had a few of them it seems like a big leap haha
also what is the best thing to do if the dream becomes to 'emotionally charged' if you get my drift?

      Thanksssss lotssssss

Flying can present a challenge for lucid dreamers because it can require a fair bit of belief in your ability to fly, even though in the back of your mind you know it's impossible. Try making a scenario in which the dream will find flying more believable - for instance, summon a jetpack or other object, put it on, and then try flying. If this doesn't work, pay attention to the thrust and the feeling of going higher into the air; I find that if I'm flying and I don't pay attention to the forces that are helping to keep me off the ground, I'll float back down.

A great way of teleporting is to just walk through a door and expect something to be on the other side. You can also use this method for summoning DCs, although in that case it's easier to just turn around and expect them to be behind you - it saves the annoyance of having to find or summon a door first. A word of caution against closing your eyes though; it can work, but if you don't continue to maintain self-awareness and pay attention to your surroundings, it can destabilize the dream.

As for the dream getting too "emotionally-charged", there's not much you can do but to leave the situation and try to relax. Some people wake up because they get too excited, others don't, but until you know your own excitement threshold it's best to take precautions against becoming too hyped up... Although that doesn't mean avoiding the situation completely.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

For teleportation I just close my eyes and spin while rubbing my hands and expect to be somewhere els when I open them. I just have the feeling that by spinning I enter the occursed VOID,The enemy of lucid dreamers who cant teleport. Then I come out through a hole in it to somewhere els. I rub my hands so I dont get stuck in the void or wake up do to not feeling anything.

Try to do what I have stumbled on to learn stuff. Expect a voice in your head to give you great ideas and then follow them. In lucid dreams not in real life. In real life you would just be insane and not be talking to you dream guide telepathically.

i had my first lucid last night, but i think i was just barely scratching the surface of what most people get... i felt like i wasnt in total control... like ym head my guiding my around. when i teleport , i thought of the dream scape and blinked. when i wanted something, i thought of exactly where i wanted it to be and reached, and it appeared. when i did reality checks, bad things popped out though, and when i tried to shapeshift, i imagined something-doing remeber what- and my body swelled, tingled, and stopped. i woke up about 2 minutes after that. i reraly want to shapeshift, can someone help me with that?
