I'm surprised how much how much some people can remember their dreams!

I go over to peoples dream journals to read up for fun, see some weird dreams. While I only remember a sentence, and sometimes a small paragraph, this person has 10 paragraphs of detailed dream scape! Well... I'll get there...

      Eventually...

Lol mine are on and off. Sometimes I'll remember every single detail of the dream, what I did, where I went, what I was thinking, etc. Other times I only remember like... one thing. Sucks Everybody dreams an entire dream plot, but a lot of people don't remember most of what happens.

I think thats more of people wanting to write in detail and not wanting to, if I have no motivation will journal in like, a third of a page, if I'm using detail each dream might be a page long or more, so end up writting between 5-10 pages when using some detail.

I guess it depends on how much you practice dream recall and general awareness. I for one recall pretty well but not nearly as good as the people who have great dreams everyday.

Lucid dream stories you'll find u can talk about all day because your experiencing the dream as if your awake. No lucid dream I don't understand how people can go in to great detail with those sometimes. But I guess some people have better non lucid recall then others.

Keep a regular dream journal, you will be amazed how much better your recall gets in just a week or two.

ADA I think is the key to lucid dreaming a lot. For me, I just naturally remember my dreams better than most people. I talked to a girl in one if my classes, and she said she doesn't dream. I was like, trust me, everyone dreams. You just aren't remembering them. She needs to practice hahah.

Agreed - I suddenly remember loads more dreams, and in much more detail, when I started keeping a dream journal, and setting my alarm to wake me every 90 mins to fill in my DJ after I'd dreamt.

Yea I was amazed how much a dream journal helped me when I first started. Plus its cool reading them and actually remembering the dream like its a memory. Well at least that's how it is for me.

i tend to remember everything about a dream even though i enter lucidity right at the end of the dream, only once or twice have i ever seen a full dream play out, and i know someone who has an entire story series playing out in his dreams, look up JBMdreams on DeviantArt if your curious
