Thread: Difficulty moving while lucid dreaming?

I've had about 6 or 7 lucid dreams so far so I guess I'm still pretty new to it, however it's getting easier to attain lucidity each time.
Basically all of my lucid dreams are WBTBs and most of them begin with false awakenings or with being in my room.
During a couple of these false awakenings, though, I know that I am lucid through RCing, but I find it very hard to move, almost as if I have sleep paralysis in my dream. This is really annoying because my dream will often end soon after a handful of attempts to get out of bed.

Is this normal? Does anyone experience anything similar?
