MAJOR issue with a Dream Character! :(

Ok, I've been having huge issues with a certain dream character ever since I successfully brought them into a dream....

This is really embarrassing, probably hilarious, but really REALLY annoying.

A friend and I had this goal of being able to kiss our idols in a lucid dream.
Well, I've almost had it quite a few times already, but there's this problem...

Seems like my DC thinks he's a dog and likes to lick you all over your face
Either that or he has a terrible breath problem... or both.

It sounds SO stupid but that's literally what happens. Every, single, time.

I've been kissed by a DC before in a dream (not this one) and it seemed fairly normal...
This is a real person too, not someone I created.

The only difference between that DC and this one is that I actually like this one!

Does anyone have any idea why this keeps happening to me or what I can do?
      I'm begging...

Maybe your feelings have something to do with it. Next time you see this DC ask why they act like this.

It may also have something to do with your perception of this person, but I would say the best thing to do is ask them in the dream. I doubt anyone here will know the answer to that. Only your subconscious does =) lol good luck.

A couple of times I've tongue-kissed people in dreams (um.. not always on the mouth... ) and it tasted really nasty and gross. once or twice I woke up afterwards with my moth super dried-out, and I'll bet I was actually licking my lips in my sleep during the dream kiss, cause in retrospect that's pretty much what it tasted and felt like. idk if this is what you got but I offer it as a possibility and something to ponder.

Drink lots of water kids.. keep yourself hydrated!!

      ***Edit***

I don't think I explained it right - I mean that my mouth and tongue were super dried-out from dehydration and/or because I was breathing with my mouth open as I slept, and I probably ran my tongue around my lips trying to wet it, and at the same time dreamed I was frenching somebody. And yeah, it was like kissing dried-up leather!

I think all you really need to do is just tell them not to - just as you would anyone else. "Hey, could you stop that and kiss me normally?"

I've had my fair share of DCs that acted funny. In the past, I summoned a few different characters from movies, and even though I used dream control (expectations) to make them to act like their character, they didn't. They acted clueless, like they didn't know what was going on; when I said their name, they might have said something like "who's that"?

Whenever this happened to a DC though, I'd just say something like "hey, stop messing around. You know what will happen if you keep acting stupid like that." I am confident in my approach and expect them to stop doing what they're doing, and I might even visualize them apologizing or stopping their strange/disturbing/whatever behavior. You are in full control over them, so don't be afraid to enforce rules! This doesn't work 100% of the time because some dreams might just not want to cooperate, but it's still very reliable.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

My first thought was to summon a doctor and ask him to fix the idols illness (and bad breath). That was you will automaticly expect him to be cured and normal next time?

Haha thanks for all the replies
I'll definitely try just asking them to quit it next time I get the chance I know I got a bit mad last time and tried to slap it out of them... But uh, I'll try asking

You can act mad and appear mad, but don't feel mad, because it'll just cause you to get flustered. Dreams tend to fall apart if you become frustrated.

Or, if none of the above methods work for you, you can always take the Okami27 trademark approach, and...
burn the defective dc into oblivion, and make a new one...
      Well then, it's about time!

Interesting. In my experience anger and rage don't wake me or make my dreams fall apart, but if I get frustrated with dream control, I get mad at the dream and wake myself up because I don't like the dream.

Yeah, I'm the exact opposite! My dreams tend to take advantage of my negative emotions, but I'd never want to wake up because I have poor control.

Generally in my lucids I have to be very careful about what I think about. For instance I had a lucid dream awhile ago and I walked around the corner and expected to find a unicorn and it was there. Unfortunately a thought popped into my head "What if someone stole the unicorn". Instantly an evil leprechaun stole the unicorn and flew away. Later in the dream I saw a dog in a house and he was standing behind a screen door. My thought process went exactly like this "I hope the dog doesn't esca..........shit" Unfortunately I realized this a little too late and like 10 dogs jumped outta the house and attacked me. My dreams love messing with me.
