what are your favourite stabilization techniques that work best and most often? |
|
My fave stabilization technique: My 5 senses. Stabilization is not just about rubbing our 2 palms together or spinning wildly, it's about connecting our dream body to the dream world. One thing I notice is that most people do stabilization when they're about to get disconnected from the dream world(aka be awake). Stabilization must be done in a dream ALWAYS(from the moment you became lucid up to the moment you are venturing through out the dreamscape ). What I do is I smell any dream object that has a scent(like a flower), chew a gum ball while walking, touch any touchable objects, plug in ear phones and listen to songs composed by dream artists, and obviously, see the things around me. If I use my 5 senses in dream land, I will be more "connected" to it. |

Thanx, so I should rub my hands, turn around looking at the dream, smell stuff, listen to stuff and taste stuff? |
|
I always forget doing a sabilisation but when I do I rubb my hands |

Goals for lucid dreaming: [X] Get my first lucid, since I starte lucid dreaming again. [] Posses somone. [] Go GTA style on the streets. [] talk to my DG again
I rub my hands, touch textured objects, and spin around in a circle very slowly, in order to take in my surroundings. The longer I touch objects and focus on stabilizing using parts of the dream, the longer that dream will usually be. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I normally rub my hands, or pay attention to every single line on my and, and observe them, for abotu 10 seconds. |

I have found that focusing on my hands will always return the clarity to a dream that is hazy or collapsing, without fail. |

Keep your emotions in check. Waking up quickly is the result of too much excitement. |

I've had the best luck with hand rubbing while slowly and carefully engaging all of my senses into the dream. Other times, I get a bit too excited and just end up waking myself up. |

I swear I've just seen a thread like that... *RC* |

Hence the reason the OP asked what is your favorite technique? When has favorite ever meant best? |
