It can feel many different ways. If it is a great dream you may even ejaculate in your sleep, or feel as if you accidently did. The details are always lacking. The scenery may fade or blur. You feel the parts you are paying attention to like the actual sex and what you put your hands on. The positions may change with no in between motions. The sex part can feel just like real sex or it will feel like masterbating if you have never had sex. that is when it goes great. The more skill you gain the more it will go perfect. Problems that may occur are frustrations like not being able to really penetrate, because your body is trying to dry hump an imaginary girl, and you dream is affected.Or, the DC suddenly deciding you are assulting her and refusing to be take part. The sex may also be less real, just like food can often taste bland in LDs. You may have troubles with the visuals, such as the DC changing shape or being only part solid.
To initiate it learn to create DCs by basic summoning methods, such as telling yourself the mall is just over there, going to the mall, and watching DCs expecting to see a good partner. After you see the DC you will have better luck if you make the scene more believable to yourself. Do not just pull her cloths off in the food court and start touching her. If you have lots of skill you could do that, but at first make it believable. Say, you see the DC, you start talking to them as if you are their boyfriend in the dream. Ask 'your girlfriend' to find some place private. Take them into a back room and don't be a forceful prick. Touch her hair and arms like you are suducing her nicely. It will be easier for your brain to accept that version, so it is more likely to work.
Burke is correct that it can cause people to wake up or loose lucidity. It does not have to be that way after you gain more skills, but at first it will likely cause the dream to end, maybe before climax even. I suggest that you do it if the dream is making it easy for you and you wantto do it. I would not try to make it happen until you start having more control and get good at stablizing. Yes however, you can get to a point in your training where you have lots of good sex LDs that do not end the dreamand are just great fun.
