Question When you WBTB how do you feel?

Ok, I'm just collecting some information for a guide I might write, so tell me:

When you WBTB, upon waking how do you feel? Answer in the poll above, or give a more detailed answer below!

      Thankyou!

Edit: Made the poll public, I'm interested in individuals answers.

Also please only vote if you know you are doing WBTB right!

      I think you meant "public".

For me, at first I'm quite tired and I often struggle to get out of bed. Once I'm up for a few minutes, I really start to wake up fast, so I don't keep my WBTBs for longer than around five minutes.

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Somehow, ever since this week i trained myself to wake up naturally a few times a night.(getting more sleep too) It's much easier to remember dreams this way than using an alarm clock. And i'm never too awake/tired. I can just fall back asleep.

It all depends on how much I've slept before the WBTB. Usually a bit tired but I'm used to going up at 5 AM, and the excitement of soon becoming lucid gets me going. Unless I haven't decided to get out of bed, then I'm just tired.

I sleep 6 hours before my WBTB so I am very rested. But I don't WBTB for long I just go right back to sleep so it doesn't really matter how I feel
But if I do stay up I am really tired.

      Good luck with your guide!

Thanks, I just wanted other peoples opinion, I have been struggling to get back to sleep after WBTB recently! It's quite annoying (and I do it after 4.5 hours -.-).

Believe it or not, I feel the same way during my WBTB as I do right before I fall asleep.
I base my WBTB's off of how I feel when I climb into bed that night.
I usually do it after 5 hours and 30 minutes and occasionally 5 hours.

I answered Awake (Not too hard to sleep).
I wakes up 4 am after 4,5 sleep. I'm sure I'm doing the technique right. The only thing I could do better, is to walk out of bed. I use to sit up, maybe walk a little bit, and write dreams down and read a little bit on DV.

      Good luck with the guide!

Special thanks to Darkmatters for my signature picture.

I feel miserable whenever I do WBTB and upon waking always think "fuck this I'm going right back to sleep".

Haha, that's what I'm always like, but recently I haven't been able to get back to sleep, I'm sure it will wear off though.

I normally have a hard time returning to sleep. I don't normally set an alarm, so my WBTB starts during a natural midnight awakening. I feel fully awake after about 30 seconds of looking for a light or flashlight.

I wake up really tired, hard to keep eyes opened. But I get up to use the restroom so staying in bed is not an option, hehe. I usually get up after 3.5 - 4 hrs of sleep for 30 - 60 min. and most of the time don't feel like staying up at all. But then I remember I got lots of lucids this way and that keeps me going. Once I didn't get up for WBTB and I got a lucid at time when I would be WBTB - something like a CAT.
