I have been practicing astral projection for sometime now, as well as attempting lucidity within dreams and dream recall.*

I find it hard to remain lucid on most occasions when I become aware that I'm dreaming but last night was different.*
I'd like to explain what I experienced so any readers can comment to help explain or share similar experiences.*

When I became aware that I was dreaming, it was quite clear and I literally told myself that I was dreaming and would become lucid. Testing my boundaries, which I was aware were limitless, I walked into a building wall. It was all black inside, and walking/floating in swim like motions through it gave my body tingly sensations all over. It was a nice but weird experience. I recall wanting to fly and I tell myself that I am in control and that I am lucid so I flap my arms like a bird. I take off in the air BUT I NEVER GLIDE LIKE I WOULD LIKE TO. WHY IS THIS? Before realizing I was dreaming I was caught up in a zombie invasion (as usual). So I though to myself, I'm going to control my dream and relax. The next minute I was sitting on a chair at an outside pub. It was nice. I was sitting to next to one of my best friends! I asked the bartender for a nice drink and I began wishing for a nice drink. He held up a tray with appetizing strawberry shots! This is where my experience makes me question whether I am lucid or not. I walk over to a booth table with two cute young brothers at each end. It was their birthdays, and I'd forgotten a gift for one of them. I imagined two desirable gifts and I saw them appear under the table. I told the boy to look under the table and he found the two presents. One I remember was a spider man toy. They were packaged and everything. That's all I remember.*

Was I lucid? What did I experience? I was in control but I wasn't!
