Hiya!
Last night I read a couple of posts about Lucid Dreaming and instantly felt that it was something I was very interested in and wanted to try.
So today, determined I would want to lucid, I followed a guide I found.
So I did lay down on my back in a comfortable position with my arms on the side of my body and my legs strained out.
This was done 2 hours after I woke up from a good nights sleep.
So I started to focus and think about my breathing, and after let's say 5-10minutes I felt my arms become paralyzed, it almost felt like they were sinking through my bed. Because of the awesome feeling I had a hard time holding myself from laughter but somehow I managed.
I continued following the guide I found and soon began to see shapes and patterns with my eyes. I saw black shapes that just appeared and disappeared, they went into each other, they grew, they shrink. It was like a lava-lamp.
I got interrupted in my concentration by my girlfriend who was brushing her teeth in the bathroom at the same time, so the patterns and shapes disappeared, but after 2-3minutes of constant focusing on my breathing they came back.
The next thing that happened was that I felt like my right eye was completely open, and not shut. This feeling was freaking sick and I didn't know what to think because my eye was shut, I continued to see the shape and patterns.
However, after, let's say approximately 40 seconds, my eyelids opened themselves very slowly. Suddenly I was looking into the ceiling of the room. I felt that my eyes were all filled of tears, I then touched myself and realised I was awake.
When I then did stand up I felt really weird, I started to laugh and didn't know what had happened to me.
So my question is. Was I on my way to lucid? Or did I do completely wrong somewhere?
Did I get too excited during the "eyelid feeling" as I explained and did I cancel my trip there?
I think this is so interesting and I can't wait to pull it off! I'd love to know more.
Please share your thought regarding my first try!
Thanks
Best Regards
Nikko
