Hey! I think that the doing too much applies only to trying too muchat start without sufficient info. As long as techniques don't go against each other and you are doing them right, there is no problem. I would recommend only one or two new techniques at a time since you want to know which one was working to keep and refine.

Visualize in first person if your dreams are first person. Visualizing is great. I would check out that guide ^^^

I recommend visualizing 30 second portions of your previous dreams. Visualize yourself becoming lucid in that dream, stabilizing and go to your goal. Repeat.

I also recommend visualizing with RCs. When you RC visualize that it failed and what you would do at that point in your day.

When you do this, try and get the emotion of an LD (emotions translate well in dreams). Then try and suppress the excitement like you will in an LD.
