Hey DV,
Don't get me wrong, I do believe Lucid Dreaming is real. In fact, I had 2 lucids last night. My problem is that, when I wake up from a LD, it feels like the whole experience was a bit 'fake'. It feels like the 'me' in my dream is not the same person as the 'me' in waking life. For example, in one of my last lucid dreams, I decided to try out flying. If I had to try out flying right now, I would just jump and try to lift off. In my dream however, I dived out of the window and fell to on the ground. I think it's weird that I did that, I wouldn't dare to do that, that's not how I had planned to try out flying. I'd like to emphasize that in the dream I am lucid. I know that I'm acutally in bed and that I'm in a dream. It's just that when I wake up the experience I just had feels fake.
I think the best way to put it is that after waking up it feels like I just had a dream about myself having a lucid dream instead of having a lucid dream.
I know it must sound weird, but I hope I explained well and that you know what I'm talking about. Has anyone ever had similar experiences, or what I could do to improve my results?
