What impact does lucid dreaming have in your life?

Asides from being interesting/cool and occupying a portion of daily attention doing RC's, what impact does LDing have in your life, or in daytime?
La berge and others talk about the Benifit of practicing certain life skills in LD's, I don't know if any study has been done of this. Holechek in "dream yoga" talks about consciousness in deep sleep perfuming the day with awareness of the formless, and tenzin wangal Rinpoche and Charlie Morley talk about how experiments in LD's like walking through walls teach the mind that that which appears solid is in fact insubstantial, similar to emotional patterns which can also be changed. I want to do my thesis on how LD practice effects awareness in Mindfulness practice. It seems like it has tremendous potential for enhancing awareness and psychological and spiritual growth. I'm Just generating ideas now...

In researching mindfulness, to demonstrate value, many study's have been done showing numerous beneficial carryovers into daily life. Would Lucid dream or Dream yoga have anything similar? There was a study that showed LD'rs are better problem solvers Lucid Dreamers are Better Problem Solvers, Study : University Herald

For me, Id say the daily impact of such sleep practices include RC's which give opportunity to practice mindfulness. occasionally a particular sense of deep connection or gratitude from a profound LD or the awareness/mindfulness that occurs sometimes in various sleep states. And also more opportunitys to become mindful and curious as going to sleep and the various nighttime wake ups. It is also part of my motivation and interest, and has all the benefits of any hobby.I don't know how much of an impact this has, if I was filling out a study. Other times I can experience tiredness from not gettin back to sleep after WBTB, sometimes frustration, and sometimes goal orientation/future fixation on LD abilitys I'd like to have that I don't have now...
It seems to me the benifits of any dream yoga would mostly show up from practitioners with a certain proficiency, enough to LD regularly and be able to sustain dream long enough to fulfil experiments/exploration. This probably amounts for the smaller number of LD practitioners I'd guess. Also these benifits may show up over a longer time, than for instance, an 8 week mindfulness training...

What if any impact do you think your LD practice has in your daytime awareness? (Positive or negative)

Thanks
