Question for Shapeshifters: What is your favorite part?

What do you think is the best part? Is it the transformation process, a certain body part that you find to feel awesome, the end product, etc? For me it's gotta be a tail. It "physically" feels awesome, and I freaking love tails.

Truely feeling myself as the new shape is the coolest part. As an example I one time shifted into an ant and then a snail. I could feel the body parts and found it amazingly weird to try and move 6 legs in a way that would work. Having extra limbs and feeling it was truely a trip! Then the snail offered the experience of undulating along on that weird foot thing a snail has.
I can fly and climb walls and such with out changing shape, so by far the experience of the new body is the best part.

The extra limbs are awesome! Flying while moving two new limbs that didn't exist before, moving a tail, creating unique limbs and then figuring out how to move them along with the rest of your body. These are amazing things to feel, every time.

When I was a spider and sunk to the bottom of a pool, it was really interesting to actually get out of there before I ran out of oxygen, basically used my rear-web and then put it below the abdomen so that the oxygen bubbles would remain for longer, then went to the wall and kept climbing by stickign the back part of my legs, letting go of the top and then letting water take me up slowly.

Or breathing fire as a dragon, taking in the air, moving your wings back and then blowing out while making that thing in your moth that sets the gas on fire create the fire, interesting stuff.

I like running on all fours as a wolf. It is my only transformation so far. It feels so natural to run on all fours, and to feel the wind on my fur, and of course jumping on prey. :3 good times.

Actually running is the easiest part and how I started. I take off running and my front legs just go down to the ground. After I started running, I automatically started feeling wolf like and I forced a transformation. Now I just set my hands down and I can switch from wolf to man either fully or partially any time I want. I would recommend running and just setting your arms down.

kinda too many "parts" to count/talkabout = but .. i love that i can't truly die...

i am a dragon.. but i feel all the human senses vividly..

when i go on airplanes they ALWAYS crash.. but i don't die.. but i experience the fully impact

the sickening jolt of the impact [#death] wakes me sometimes but not always

also.. sometimes i float off the earth.. it feels weird..

does anyone else float off the atmosphere? or feel like you can't stay attached to the ground???

I haven't done this very much, but I had a recent LD where I was high up in a tree. I suddenly wanted down and became mildly lucid. I turned myself into a giant and just stepped down.

I have a question for anyone that has done this. Have any of you transformed into a Transformer? It sounds incredibly awesome and I can't wait to do it one day. What did it feel like? Was it hard to transform from car to auto-bot/decepticon? Great thread btw! Happy Lucid Dreaming!

Whelp, since someone already bumped this, hopefully it's okay to post to. Anyway, I've never shape shifted, but after reading this I have to try it. Though I'd probably have to be a bird, as I too have issues staying grounded in lucids. Ah well... It's worth a shot!

Whenever I shapeshift I gain a similar feeling to the initial lucidity jolt. Maybe not all of you know what that is, but it feels like you're being electrocuted pleasantly and tearing your face through plastic wrap that has been clouding your vision. Its a huge shock of energy like jumping into ice water... but nice. This is my favorite part; the beautiful feeling of shifting in general...
