It feels so weird and cheesy making this topic, but I'm extremely curious on the subject matter. To those who have experienced lucid sex/sexual encounters, what is it like? Is it just like the real thing (if you're a virgin, is it how you perceived it to be or different)? Is it easy to pull off? Is it worth the time and effort required to maintain the stability of the dream? Lucid sex has always been a really interesting concept, not just because of my own interests(damn hormones... ) but also to really see how far our brains can extend in a subject matter as sensitive as sex. Would I just be able to go up to a really hot girl in my class in a lucid dream and just get it going? I know there's a bunch of topics but none of them clearly elaborate what it's like, if it's worth it, multiple opinions, etc.

I once grew a second dick in a lucid sex dream! It can totally be whatever you can imagine. As to whether it's worth it or not, that's really up to you I do believe. For a long time I didn't feel any kind of sensation at all from sex dreams but I worked on it for a while and it eventually became super realistic (or even better than realistic). I think it can also be pretty useful for overcoming any kind of fears you might have. And it's fun to break social rules while in a lucid dream, like walking up to a really hot girl in your class and doing whatever you want edit: Oh! I think it really differs between people - I've seen people reporting a range of experiences from highly pleasurable (better than waking life) to kind of numb and not particularly satisfying. My lucid sex tends to be more on the pleasurable side, but it changes between dreams for me personally as well. There are some people who find it impossible because they are woken up from the excitement before it can really begin. You might find it takes a bit of extra dream control/stability to stay in the dream for long enough to have the 'full experience'. Reading other people's dream journals is a good way to pick up useful tips in these situations! I suppose it's something you can experiment with to see if you feel it's a worthwhile task. I personally find other tasks for fulfilling usually, but I am happy to roll with dream sex when it happens.

Now even before lucid dreaming, I was always having sex dreams. I have always orgasmed in them and usually the orgasm is what wakes me up. I also notice there is NEVER any foreplay whatsoever, it goes directly to intercourse or rubbing and that is it. I will also say, for some odd reason, most times the sexual experiences are with people that are not attractive. I once conjured an ex but that was way too exciting and I woke at penetration. If I'm lucid a lot of the times, sex is initiated by a dream character. There was actually one time, I didn't want to do anything because I knew I would wake up, but the girl wouldn't stop rubbing me, almost as if they were making sure I woke up. I think the excitement of becoming lucid often translates into sex, since it's the same kind of psychological excitement. I have also been awaken from a lucid dream from an orgasm, but there was absolutely nothing sexual going on. It was the euphoric rush of becoming lucid and it translated into sex. Now if someone was a virgin, I would imagine the sex would be a mixture of their expectations of sex and what knowledge they have accumulated from either, seeing or reading about the act.

Bro that happens to me everytime man! The girl will literally invite me for some fun time(usually in public, out in the open). Then, when I get intimate and slip off the girls undergarments and what not, I usually find a ballsack or a penis (said for specific terminology, sorry if its against the rules). At this point I just get up and walk away. Once I do that I immediately end up searching for another girl. I have found early on that going caveman so to speak meets with limited results, if at all. This is in my early years of lucid dreaming. It seems like dream characters would rather not have sex & do the morphing thing if cornered to get out of it. Rather than just looking for sex, it is better if I can intimately connect with my female dream characters. Now when I see a lovely female in my dream I can usually just flirt for a few minutes & she'll just be my girlfriend just like that, and sex becomes easier along with it. There was one time when a woman was somewhat resistant to my advance, but I extended my feelings as a force of will into her and then she was willing. It was as if I had caused her to fall in love with me by exerting my will for her to do so.

I haven't tried actual sex in a lucid dream yet, but I have tried kissing girls and "thoroughly caressed" them and it felt exactly as in waking life. I don't see any reason for why dream sex would be that much harder for your brain to simulate.

I often stop for minutes at a time and stare at one thing in a dream. Tat being said, it is sometimes creepy to stare into dream characters eyes when you know that they are not real.
