Dreams that are coming true in waking life

So for the past few days I've been writing in my dream journal and last night I dreamt my teacher told a story and I didn't think much of it but then I got to school and my teacher told the story exact like in my dream same setting same seats same voice same rising infliction and we haven't even had her class this week

Then today the exact same thing happened except in a different class so I don't really know what to say ????or what I'm asking

Lots of people report this happening. I have had it happen many times as well as my wife. The problem for me is that I don't know how to induce it or which dreams are predictions or not. So it is like I have a very long list of things that could possible happen in the future... or they could just be random crap. Lol.

I feel you 100% except it's happened two nights in a row now starting on Wednesday...are you by any chance sensitive to the spirit world??😬@sensei

haha, that is a complicated question my man. Most people here believe in different versions of the "spirit world" I also have about 6 dreams a night, so just saying one of the six might happen is still not a very helpful ability (though it did ruin the end of Insidious for me). If this keeps happening every night, that would be awesome for you. It happens very rarely for me (once a month or so).

Happened again last night literally 15 minutes ago the exact thing in my dream happened I was standing in a shop looking outside and Thai guy in a orange Adidas bag walked past then I was standing in the same shop and a guy in a orange addidas bag walked past

Insidious is so wrong in so many ways although it is just a movie lol and I don't really believe in astral projection @sensei

Yeah, I am not a AP believer either. I actually just watched the last fifteen minutes of the movie in a dream without knowing what it was. Then when I got around to watching the movie in waking, I remembered the whole ending. Lol

That is pretty crazy if it keeps happening every day. Are you writing your DJs out? I would love to have the DJ and then the experience.

It would be cool to see what you write about it when you wake up and then compare it to what you write about it after it happens. So far I have only seen what you write about it happens.

I've had that happen once before. Well, twice...once when I was a kid, around 9 or 10 years old, I had a dream where i toured some random house. A few months later, my childhood friend invited me to her birthday slumber party, which was going to take place in the new house she and her mother had moved into. When they gave me a tour of the house, it was in the exact same layout as my dream. I thought it was freaky, but I didn't linger on it. The last time I had a dream like that was about five years ago. But the dream wasn't 100% accurate. It was similar enough though that it freaked me out. My boyfriend also had a dream about me a couple of weeks ago that was scary accurate about how I felt about our relationship, though I never told him or hinted at it before.

So, I don't know how to explain these weird phenomenons or how to induce them, but I'd like to learn more about it.

The question is I guess how you feel about this? Precognitive dreaming is quite common at times. After I had my first dream like that I suddenly started having lots of them until they gradually reduced as my focus reduced. I've had experience of both things exactly happening and symbolic happening (like a monster plant attacking me with vines that I had to jump over and then the next day whilst walking through a park, two dogs with long ropes for leashes run around me and I have to keep jumping over them in the same way). There is a lot of information in the Beyond Dreaming forum.

I'd say you can probably induce this type of dreams the same way you would induce any other type. Intent, feeling, focus, etc. I've had some MILD success with that ; now about knowing which dreams may or may not be of precognitive nature, there is usually a feeling associated with the dream, at least for me, and you can rule out some dreams which clearly doesn't feel like anything. Say, day residue dreams for example. You can usually tell when a dream is from the past or present, so just like that you can tell dreams of the future. Something I still have to try is inducing one from a lucid dream.

I see, well it took me a while before I first was able to notice this feeling. It was just like that for me when I started experiencing this. So I didn't mean to say that it's always there (maybe it is) but it's just that some dreams are clearly more significant and impacting then others as well as leaving a feeling that they might still happen; and over time you will be able to recognize it. It's still an amazing experience to have!

I have dreams that come true. They usually are about some major event that sometimes will happen days, weeks, or even months after the dream. Some say that we create our physical reality from the dream state and if that's true then it's not surprising we'd dream about the future.

      Hi Superdremer,

I've seen a few peeps on this forum who have had similar precognition occurrences. Sometimes it happens IRL the very next day or it happens at some later point in the future.

That in itself is cool and intriguing. Even more cool would be to be able to induce it - especially during a WILD or during meditation. Cooler still would be to be able to see specific things or events via precognition at will.

Rumor has it that you can use a combo of will, intention, and focus for divination. I haven't personally put that to the test as of yet, but it's an interesting topic.

Happy for you that you're in touch with your psychic side :)

This may sound a bit TMI but I always have a dream I'm going to get my period the day before I get it. lol.. I wish I could dream-predict something other than "that time of the month"!

hmmm i find it all fascinating...its obviously greatly up for debate, but so is lucid dreaming in the wider community.
Sometimes I believe, sometimes I don't , my mind is fickle ( its nature is change).

btw i get tarot predictions that seem correct all the time but they are obviously way more general or seem so
whereas my dreams always seem to be about the now...so far

Well the predictions have started to slow down now or at lease to a lesser extent like I had a dream my sister stole my phone and broke it then on that morning my sister stole my phone as a joke but didn't break it and it was pretty different to the dream but I don't really know if it's because of this but the future dreams started after I started meditation to the honest guy's cleansing pool here's a link http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NIjKfenNStA

And i haven't done it once this week and the dreams have stopped since I stopped soo that might be the cause shall we put it to test??😊
