      Exclamation Natural Lucid Dreamer abilities?

Hey my name is Sam, I'm a Natural Lucid Dreamer but i just recently found this out. I never knew what i could do was so special, in fact i thought everyone could "Lucid Dream" but i guess not.

I surprisingly Lucid Dream at least once a night, sometimes when I have a bad day or when I don't get a lot of sleep I tend not to have Lucid Dreams.

Lately I've been able to relate to most of these "Lucid Dreamers" and find that I have a lot in common with them.

I'd really like to Understand more about Lucid Dreaming and maybe even find out some cool abilities that Natural Lucid Dreams may have. I'm very amazed that Lucid Dreaming is such an uncommon ability and would like to discover my possibilities.

If you were to wake up right now, what would you write in your Dream Journal?

Thats cool... not many people have that ability.

Welcome, I'm sure you can still learn a lot though!

Nice, that gives you a huge start.

I did the same thing with nightmares when I was a kid. It helps to know what your aiming for.

      WOW! O_o

That's like 13.5 years worth of lucid dreaming (assuming a rate of one per night)!
This truly amazes me! I'm kind of "natural" too, but my "natural" rate is 1 LD per 2 months and they are fairly short. To get some more satisfying ones and increase their rate I have to practice...

      Anyway, welcome to the forum!

Also, just wondering - how are you usually becoming lucid? and do you practice LDing somehow (like WILDs and such)?

Hey Sam, fellow natural here welcome to the forum.

I know one ability we have in common is a higher state of awareness, we seem to be able to easily recognize differences and oddities in our environment. There was an article by Robert Waggoner here a while back on it. Something about how we tend to not blindly accept our reality and are always questioning it, which leads to more lucid dreams. But having self-taught myself the skill at age 4 I think it's like it flipped a mental switch making it easier to do it regularly.

Ok, I've literally only just signed up to this site. I've barely done any research, I don't claim to have any special knowledge on the subject, but I'm starting to believe I'm a natural just like you. I didn't even know lucid dreaming was a thing up until very recently. I mean I've always been exactly the same, just believing that's how dreaming was for everyone! So glad to see someone else like me! Do you find you can wake yourself up from whatever your dream was, then go back to sleep and re-enter the dream? I like to remain conscious enough to pull myself out if I start to lose control and I no longer like the feel. Sometimes my dreams can get quite dark and I quite literally have to fight my way out! Sorry I'm babbling now, but this I all new to me 🙂

Hey Sam, I'm also one of the "Chosen one" as someone called us before in this thread
Well i wouldn't say we have some kind of special ability since everything we can do everyone else can learn it. i would just say we have it alittle easier in the start as we have got a few things for free and we are used to lucid dreams. But after that we too must put in hard work to achieve greater lucidity as all others also do

Btw i fellow lucid dreamer from Sweden, Exciting
