Dream Hero League - announcement, would you recruit?

I'm planning on putting together a task-based role-play community called Dream Hero League ( or some name similar ), similar to TotM and the Dreamviews Academy. Much thanks goes to Suck4Luck for coming up with the original idea some four years ago. Also I thank Hukif for the "little push" that made start this concept. The thread would be located at Lucid Experiences -> Lucid Challenges. In this thread I will share all my ideas so far, and with your help shape it in to a working concept . I'll try to keep this brief, simple and informative. 1.The idea Where TotM's challenges are purely random ( * cough * ) Pull something out of your butt, literally. - ~ Dreamer ~ , DHL is purely based on fighting and battling the dream characters and creatures. 2. You may choose a Dream Hero name It is going to be shown on The Board* above your Dreamviews account's name. Mission Report ( Task-info would look something like this ) Note: I would also post additional information about the targets underneath the Mission Report 3. Tasks There are four monthly tasks ( and two yearly tasks ( now that the year is half way through ) ) that will be updated every time after the month passes. There are two Green tasks, one Yellow and Red task, and two yearly Black tasks. The green ones are the easiest, yellow takes some effort and the red is a bit harder already. The black ones take serious skill. The green tasks give 2 points on completion, yellow task gives 5 points, and the red one gives 10 points and A Silver Star. The black ones are True Battles, and their completion gives you whopping 50 points and A Golden Star. . There is an additional "mini task" to one of the green tasks that gives 1 extra point and to the yellow task, that gives 2 extra points. Also: If you either fail to win the battle or you at least had visual contact of the opponent, you will be given 1 point. If you manage to do ALL the tasks of the month, you get an extra 10 points. Note: There is no " One Task - One dream" - rule. You can complete ALL the tasks in a single lucid if you are skilled and powerful Dream Hero enough. We want to get rid of the evil creatures, don't we? 3.1 When you complete a Red-task, your name will be displayed in red in the next months board. If you have chosen a Dream Hero name, then that name will be displayed in red. In the following month after that month, your name will return to normal. If you complete a Black-task, your name will be shown in Gold for six months. *The Board(This would be the substitute for the wings as they are in TotM, for example.) The Board will be updated monthly and all the members of the League will be shown on it with their current points, tiers and stars. The Board will be added under next month's Mission Report and their additional information. The tiers will be explained soon. The points, tiers and stars are permanent. This is so everyone can have and keep recognition of their accomplishments. The Board would look something like this. Note: The boxes before the lines would be either for DV -profile pictures or Tiers ( explained next. ) Or maybe they both will end up on the board, who knows yet. More about The Board soon The points are collected for TIER unlocking. 4. Tiers There are Five Main Tiers and the "Recruit"- Tier ( where you begin from ) in the Dream Hero League. The Tiers are : R - C - B - A - S and SS. R being where you start and SS being the highest tier. R is unlocked by signing up to the League. You are promoted to the C-Tier once you have collected 3 points. The points you have collected completing missions show, that you have dream powers and you are worthy of being a ranked member of the League. B-Tier is unlocked with 15 points. A-Tier is unlocked with 50 points. To be promoted to the S-Tier ( Super Hero - Tier ), you need to have collected 100 points and A Silver Star. Silver Stars are earned by completing the Red-task of the month. The star you have earned shows that you truly are a powerful Super Hero, that can defend the Dream World and it's citizens from the dangers to come. And lastly, the legendary SS-Tier. For you to be allowed to enter this Tier of Tiers, you need to have collected 120 points, and A Golden Star. Remember, the Star is earned from possibly defeating a creature such as an Ancient God or a Titanic Creature the size of a mountain. This is how everything would play out on The Board Recruit on placement 6: This person has no points yet and is trying to make it to the C-Tier. Dream Hero on placement 5: This person has enough points for the B-Tier, and is now working his way up to the A-Tier. Dream Hero on placement 4: This person completed the Red-task last month, and now has a permanent Silver Star. The person has chosen a Dream Hero name and it is the one to be displayed in red. The name will return to normal color next month. Now this person can access to the S-Tier, but needs to get 25 points more. Dream Hero on placement 3 : This person has enough points for the S-Tier, but hasn't managed to get himself a Silver Star. He needs to work on completing a Red-task. Super Dream Hero on placement 2: This person has completed a Black-task in the last 6 months and his name will be shown in Gold for that period of time, before it turns back to normal again. He has earned a permanent Golden Star. However he can't access the SS-Tier, because he needs 1 point more. Ultimate Dream Hero on placement 1: This person has enough points and A Golden Star for the SS-Tier. He is a True Dream Warrior. He completed the Black-task longer than 6 months ago and his name has returned to normal. This person has also gained a permanent Golden Star. In a nutshell : Green tasks : 2 Points, 1 extra task that gives 1 point Yellow task : 5 points, extra task that gives 2 points Red task: 10 points + A Silver Star Black task: 50 points + A Golden Star You fail to win the battle or have visual contact of the opponent : 1 point You complete all the monthly tasks : 10 extra points R- Tier: 0 Points C-Tier: 3 Points B-Tier: 15 Points A-Tier: 50 Points S-Tier: 100 Points + A Silver Star SS-Tier: 120 Points + A Golden Star You can gather as many points and stars as you can You complete a Red-task: your name/Dream Hero name will be displayed in Red. You complete a Black-task : your name will be displayed in Gold. Note: Underneath The Board I would also collect "Events" of the previous month, such as: Links to successful battles and info if someone got promoted. 5. The Main Goal of the League -is to find The Source and destroy it, and to protect the Dream World's inhabitants: The Dream Characters. The Source is where from all the Evilness, monsters and creatures are spreading into the Dream World. However, NO ONE knows where it is. So we interrogate our defeated opponents and work our way slowly towards it with each clue. Note: Before you reach Tier B you shouldn't try to interrogate anyone yet. This is because the opponents can still sense your lack of experience and are more likely to tell false information. Only one thing is known, whoever finds the The Source... is going to face the greatest Battle of their life time, for it is going to be defended by the most powerful and evil beings from the Dream World's - existence. 6. Persistent locations There are two buildings built for the use of The League. 1.The Headquarters. All the decision making about the situation of The Source, the monsters and so on are made here. Also: 1.1 The Crisis Room is located in this building. The Crisis Room is for Dream Heroes from rank A to SS. You are allowed to have a seat at The Table, after you have reached rank S Note: Once reaching rank A, you can share others what your usual Dream Hero appearance looks like. This is because it is then easier for others to make you appear to the Crisis Room if they wish. 2. The training center. For training purposes. XXXXXXX: The name could also be "Hero Association", " Dream Battle League" or something similar. Let me hear all thoughts, ideas and suggestions !
