Hi, |
You're trying to set the intention of waking up in the night by visualizing? |
From the title of the website, they probably mean they have to visualize themself waking up to get closer to having an OBE or something like that. Or maybe they misunderstood and the technique means that you have to wake up in the night, similar to when you WBTB, WILD or maybe to when you DEILD. |
It's where you awaken in the middle of the night. I'm trying from step 2 and on because my relatives hate hearing the alarm in the morning. I just needed tips/advice on how to get a strong intention to awaken in the night multiple times. I've tried their practical alarm and it didn't awaken me because my sleep is dep. |
So I guess it was the latter option, Draeger, but I don't think they misunderstood. |
Making the mantra was also an option. Luckily I have some audios from 2016 that I got from another computer so is it good to play them before sleep and then play them after waking up after 6 hours but before going back to sleep? |

I need to know a good google search term / URL for setting a strong intention. Every time I look at a page it isn't close to the obe4u version. |
I am not a fan of playing audios. You need to set an intent... intentionally. |
I like my current intention technique, and I have had 2 lucid nights this week since starting it. I am using a large crystal "manifestation" quartz point (that's one that has a baby quartz growing inside of the bigger crystal, metaphysically, this represents manifesting desires). I meditate with it every night, renewing my intention to have lucid dreams. I repeat the mantra in my head for about 5 minutes. I also make an offering that should I be granted lucid dreams, I will use them for learning shamanic healing practices (I heard that making it less about our selfish desires, and more about others will make it easier to manifest / use law of attraction). Then I put the crystal on my night stand. |

On the same topic, what is the difference between(just an examples) |
Because you haven't set the pattern for it. You set a pattern for waking yourself up at a certain time. Once you do something a few times, your mind/body will create a pattern for doing it again. Which may be one reason that lucid dreaming is like a snowball effect. It's hard to get started, but once you've got some successes building, it gets better and better. |

The most important thing is what's your intention when saying those phrases. |
I also have exploring the world of lucid dreaming print copy and it says to stay still and ask yourself "what was I just dreaming" "what was I just thinking" "what was I just feeling" I remember doing it before and got 4 to 5 dreams recalled a day/morning. It's almost like the phase (which I also have a print copy of). In the phase, it says not to do it daily and only do/think of the technique 2 to 3 days a week. I just needed a guide on how to set an intention that other people have used before to do the obe4u technique since I've done it in 2013 and want to do it again. |

I also recall when doing the obe4u technique that I awoke my self every 30 to 40 minutes with an alarm (a program like Xtreme clock or Alarmy). I'm currently on a once-weekly diabetes injection along with insulin. |

I like that especially the impulse example. Which give me an interesting idea to mix the internal with external world |
Ohh, what do you mean, an idea to mix the internal with external world? I'm curious. |

It's pretty simple actually, I intend to place a paper with sign on it "blue orb" and put it in a box on shelves in my living room. I will build an intention/impulse(strong desire) when I'm dreaming to go and see the orb and play with it, if it is there then I'm dreaming. During the day I will make random checks to see is the orb there, like a reality check. It will be like dream task. |

I'm going to try to awaken myself during sleep Fri-Sun if it doesn't work by Christmas time I'm going to use the book Exploring the world of lucid dreaming. |
I used an alarm to awaken when I was supposed to awaken on my own. I set the alarm every 20 minutes after 4 - 7 hours of sleep. Can someone tell me a recommended awakening time in place of the 20 minutes? |
