I have them every now and then, but I hate it. A few weeks ago, I was in a dream and I realized I was dreaming and I was like, "OMG, I hope freddy kruger doesn't come out in this dream." And of course, because I thought it, he popped out from around a bush. I started pinching the crap out of myself and it didn't wake me up, but that's all I remember. Like, when you are lucid dreaming, you can make your dream whatever you want. But for me, I'm also scared to death of something scary coming out and me having to run, so that happens a lot. lol
That sounds so freaky to me!! I am SUCH a scaredy-cat, so I'm afraid if I ever do have a lucid dream, I'll do something like this. lol!
Oh believe me, I am a HUUUUUUUUGE chicken when it comes to scary things. But what's great about lucid dreaming is that if you ignore scary things, they just flat out disappear. If you take time to stabilize, and make sure you are 100% lucid, even when scary things appear you're like "Omg! My brain made this! Look how accurately scary it is!!!" and then you can decide on a plan of action... "What can I do to mess with it? mwahahahaha! "/"Oooh, how can I befriend it?" I find the best way is to befriend things that you can't get to leave you alone or that are scary. The only times I've ever been scared in lucids is when I haven't properly taken the time to stabilize first.
Also, a good idea is to have a few lucid dream goals that you REALLY want to accomplish, so you get so excited about that that you dismiss or don't even have thoughts of scary things.
