Well for mine, I made it be stable myself because I got bored of being all-powerful in dreams, so gave it up and created a stable world with rules and the like. Been there for several years and meet a lot of creatures, cultures and gone to way too many planets for me to remember, returned to some and saw the changes in time and what-not.
