Dream suicide

Has anyone ever attempted dream suicide. it doesn't have to be because you are depressed or anything but maybe you go lucid and just want to see how it would feel. i've never tried it but i think that it would be a great Advanced lucid task of the month. i mean imagine how lucid you have to be to shoot yourself in the head and not be afraid of dying is anyone with me on the advanced task of the month thing...

Yes I've done it...just out of curiosity. I jumped off a building. It was pretty neat. Don't want to see suicide as a lucid task of the month though. Although someone told me the other day that one of the tasks once was "blow yourself up".

I have died in my dreams, I got shot in the head. It felt like a warm liquid was seeping through my skull

I agree that suicide shouldn't be a TotM, too much negative stigma for everyone to find it humourous to do in a lucid. As such, I personally have not been even remotely curious to kill myself in a lucid dream. I'm there 'cause I want to be there, not to see how I can most creatively and unrealistically escape the dream. :XD:

I suicide to wake up. I've tried many things, such as, jumping off a skyscraper, drowning ( which didn't work ), and molten lava. They were fun, kind of.

Yeah, that's why I didn't drown when I was underwater, I pressume.

A lot of the people who did the explode task stayed alive + dreaming afterwards. Is that so? Can't imagine what that would be like! Now, that I would consider worth trying while lucid.

heh, suicide is cool, but already been in the ToTM, so yeah lol I like it how creative people can be at killing themselves too <.<

It wasn't suicide, but I did "die" in a semi-lucid dream once, from a nuclear bomb. The peace and emptyness was beautiful.

Haven't killed myself yet, but did die after falling 50,000 feet to my doom. It was fun.

I kissed my ex girlfriend before in a lucid dream, she fades away and a overwhelming sadness comes over me. So I just fade off, knowing I'm laying there dead. I guess that's as close as it's happened..
