Thread: Your most epic goal?

Okay, i am curios of what others are trying to success in lucid dreaming. So i want to know:What is your most epic goal that you are trying to complete?
Mine is offcourse:
Being the purple dragon Spyro playing as a DJ in a night club.

What's yours?

Probably to fly a group of people around the world and universe in a magic wooden sail boat. Stopping at key places, beautiful places, and getting out for a while, then back to the boat. I'd like to take everyone in the boat to wherever they most want to go, and we'd all see it together.

This would probably belong in the General Lucid Discussion area of the forum.

My most epic goal is to summon 100 cat girls and create my own mansion in which they will become my maids.

Right now I'd just like to have a vivid lucid experience again.

I would like to have some kind of spiritual experience in which a dream guide gives me life-changing advice! I'm not sure of the likelihood of this.

This can happen more easily than you think. I think it is important to have a spiritual tradition and practice to begin with, meditate etc with intensisty to acheive your desire. Then open your heart to love, create intense desire in your heart/mind and meditate a lot on what you want. Here is something to try. 1st imagine and think about what you want, your spiritual goal, just pick one goal for now. The think or say to your self: "What if I AM .." doing this thing (name your goal). Describe your goal in one or two short sentances, make it kind of like a mantra or magic charm, affirmation etc. Then imagine what it is like to have had that experience or meeting with that master etc. There are alot of ways to do this. This sets up the subconscious to achieve the goal. And last, practice stuff that helps in dream recall/astral travel etc.

i'm with catbus on just getting lucid vividly. I've only been lucid once. there's a lot of epic stuff I want to do. One just off the top of my head is to take control of elements such as fire, water, lightning etc.

I want to go to school for a whole day and just do whatever. No consequences!

"meet" Katie Fey probably shared dream with Nomad/Raven/MoSh (or whoever else I run into). There's also that dream of me and my friend in a desert city (looked like somewhere in the middle-east) and we were about to break into an all-out firefight with a bunch of militia, untill a bunch of marines with a tank came and wiped them out, I intend to eventually revisit that, sans marines.

I just want to summon a dragon and do something with it. You would think with as many lucids I've had and how long I've been at it that I would have completed this by now, but my lucids kinda suck. I guess I need to put more effort into it.

Any vivid, medium-length lucid dream would be great right now, but...
I would like to be a God. I would fly through the atmosphere and melt the sky, see Earth below me, and increase my speed to beyond that of light itself, ripping through the fabric of time and space, like mere paper.
I would touch the sun, and feel its energy. Burning for eons past and eons to come.
I would fly onwards through space, leaving behind my home planet, never to return. Sweeping through the vast universe, seeing planets and stars, some populated, some deserted, devoid of life.
With a deep breath, I would wake up, and return to my body.

And then forget everything that I'd just dreamed. Haha.

i'd just like to ld regularly enough to establish some regularly DCs.
But my most epic goal would have to be, to climb into heaven and declare a war on God. Can you imagine the chaos?

Find another dreamer on the dream plane, and get them to come to Dreamviews.

Shoot a gun, thats something you rarely get to do when you live in europe, in fact, many people from europe never gets to touch a gun once in their lives.

I would like to be able to teleport without fail. I am not really good at travelling around, something always goes wrong =/

Apart from the task of the year (see sig), one of my longstanding goals is to pull a mountain out of the ground- just as a display of strength. Pulling down a skyscraper with telekinesis is up there too.

I want to have an epic battle with zaraki kenpachi (from bleach). I think not cowering in fear even in an ld would take alot of courage. An epic super-powered sword fight would be totally awesome, especially if he would take off the eye-patch.

Pulling a mountain out of the ground is a good one, a tough one. I would have a very hard time with that, but I'll add that one to my own set of goals. Knocking down a skyscraper purely by telekinesis would be too. I imagine bringing a skyscraper down in pretty common. I have done it two or three times by imagining it would crumble, but not purely by telekinesis. So your second goal would indeed be a display of power because you wouldn't be "cheating" so to speak.

One thing I thought was really neat that really isn't, is when I flushed a toilet in a public restroom with telekinesis LOL.

my most epic goal is to have a battle against something like a full on raid of planet earth by zombies or aliens, basic: to be one of the super-fighters in the fall of man with a few of my friends like; stephen hawkings (jk) and chuck norris (not jk) and for sure my childhod friend (whose name is confidential)... with super guns and vodka perk-a-cola!

That's the sort of epic combat dream I would go for too. Countless armies of bad guys and a few heroes, but I would also add to that: happening to lead a small but philosophically sound army with good teamwork and comradery. Against a pure nasty evil Yep, that's a good one.

Is fall of man a movie? I haven't seen these superfighters. I think my favorite role would be to be sort of a Jedi, light saber for a weapon and some kind of shield, of course using telekinesis to murder/maim, and shape the battlefield, tasked with defending a daring and powerful mage with my life. Perhaps dying before it's over, as I defend him/her in a sort of epic fashion.

But if you haven't seen the new star wars movies lately, and the old ones too, they are great mind-food, and good to bring into your dreams. Watching movies like this give your mind ideas for fighting in dreams. That's why I want to know what movie you are talking about if you are.

Some spiritual experience learning different things and getting life changing perspectives on things. Something which would help the human race evolve, inspired by a dream.
