      Favorite Lucid Locations

As the title suggests, I'm wondering whether you have any specific places you like to return to when you are lucid dreaming, and any stories you want to share connected to it.

Here's one of mine. It's a bar called "The Abyss". I first came to it when I was searching for somebody from my past. Now, I was lucid, but for the life of me I couldn't summon her, no matter what technique I used; so I decided to search the current dream world for her. I was in a neighbors house and wondered whether the doorway trick would take me instantly to her. I decided it was worth a shot, so I found a door, and proceeded to envision her within a room. I opened the door: the interior was pitch-black. I took a deep breath and walked in.
I found myself walking into a large, well-lit bar. The place was bustling, filled with all manner of people my age (young adults) drinking, carousing, and over-all generally having a good time. I looked at the wall, and there in neon was the name "The Abyss". I thought it was an odd name for such a lively place, not realizing the irony of it until I woke up (stay tuned to the end for the irony). Though I liked the place I was still concerned with finishing what I had set out to do; I began asking the patrons if they knew this particular girl and where I could find her. No-one seemed to know up until the last person I questioned, who said she was at home. I returned to the bar's entrance, and began to do the door trick on it, envisioning the girl at her home. The dream goes on only a little bit after that, with quite a shocking turn at the end, when instead of finding the girl in the house I find, coming down the stairs to meet me, none other than myself staring back at me (The irony! "Gaze not into the abyss, lest the abyss gaze into you").
Anyways, this bar became a favorite of mine. I've visited once or twice since, but plan on being a regular once I get my lucid dreams back on track. I'm sure the girl will enjoy it too (I did eventually find her, but that's a different story )

I guess my planet would be it, just a random planet I created with some help.

Um...I don't really have a favorite. For me, it's what I do that counts. I just usually stay around where I became lucid, unless I teleported, but where I teleport to is random.
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

Hmm, perhaps my approach isn't all that common. I was (in the past-tense because I've stalled my lucidity for a little bit) trying to create an actual, distinctive realm to inhabit when I dream; one with consistent locations as well as fairly regular main dream characters. It worked in some ways. There's a shopping mall, a small English Town, and the bar I mentioned, that have become staples of when I am lucid.

The idea appeals to me because I read much in the fantasy genre, so the notion of a constant, "other" world that I can journey to every night, that I also happened to create, seems to me like a fantastic way to spend my time.

While I don't have a recurring place that I visit, very often I will forgo superpowers to just sight see. Walk around the dreamworld, or intentionally find interesting locales. Find a staircase that leads underground, and when I come back up expect to see something fantastic.

I tend to have good lucids and non-lucids at the end of my driveway, either behind my gate or out on the road. I like going there.

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.
