Hey guys. I'm, as you can tell, new here. I've been lurking a lot, picking up on your guyses techniques to Lucid Dream. Up until last night, though, I never had much success with it myself, despite maintaining a daily dream journal, taking supplements, and doing MILDs. Not to mention my horrible failures of WILD attempts.

So, I'd like to thank all of you for giving me the information I needed to finally, truly, have a lucid dream.

I had ONE dream in the past that could BARELY be considered "lucid".

I was on my friend's farm, talking to him. Then it hit me. My friend doesn't live on a farm.

I must be dreaming.

Now, I got too ding dang excited with myself here. I looked at a hill in the distance, and to test it out, tried to set it on fire with my mind. Sure enough, a fire started on the hill.

Two dream people tried to come up to me and talk to me, but I was just like "Fuck ya'll, I've got some flying to do."

So, I get up, start flying, and lose my lucidity instantly. Wake up horribly disappointed.

Now, last night's dream.

I'm standing outside my dad's house. I guess I had just been woken up, and couldn't go back to sleep just yet for some reason. So, I was pacing around, getting ready to go back to sleep, saying my usual Mnemonics.

"I will remember that I am dreaming."

"I will become lucid."

"I will do reality checks in my dreams."

Then I decided I may as well do a reality check. Trying to push my finger through my hand.

Before my finger even reaches my hand, it hits me.

"Wait a minute. I AM dreaming!"

Now, I get excited once again, I even try to run and jump and fly, but I calm myself down, remembering what happened the last time I took off like a jack rabbit.

So, I stood there on the street, looked at a field in the distance, and said "Stabilize lucidity NOW!"

Son of a bitch. It actually worked. It all seemed so cheesy and stupid when I read it on Dreamviews (No offense guys... lol), but it actually WORKED!

I said it a few more times, and every time I did the dream got more clear and vivid, and I could FEEL it becoming more stable. I don't know how to describe that feeling, but it happened.

So, with my dream stabilized, even if I'm nowhere near full lucidity (I wouldn't even say 50% lucidity. Of course, that's looking back. At the time it seemed pretty lucid.), I take off and fly. Why? Because I've never flown in a dream.

And let me just say this.

Flying in dreams. Is fucking. AWESOME.

I mean, like, Grade A 100% AWESOME SAUCE. I can't wait to do it again.

Anyways, I'm flying over my old school (Obviously with a bit of modifications. Not a perfect replica, but it's a dream, so yeah.), flying over the basketball courts, about 20 feet or so off the ground. I'm looking down on all the people doing P.E. stuff, and just enjoying the flight.

That's when I realize that I'm missing out on one of the greatest opportunities in a lucid dream.

To have dream sex with hot women.

So, I land right outside the lockers and get ready to go in, manipulate the dream, and then proceed to get it on with a girl I had a crush on back in high school.

But something's happened. My dream people can see me. Fuck.

So, I try to turn invisible. Doesn't work.

I start walking through the school, disheartened, but eventually go "You know what? Fuck it. This is MY dream. I can do whatever the hell I want to do in it! If I want to be invisible, I WILL be invisible!"

*poof*

I'm now both invisible, and, as I discover when my old gym teacher walks STRAIGHT THROUGH ME, apparently incorporeal.

I'm walking, still looking to dream-score, and come upon three girls sitting at a table. Ghost gropes, anybody?

But what's this? My dream-person gym teacher sees me, touches me, and my invisibility is lost. What is this crap? Since when can dream people screw me like this?

I try to turn invisible again, to no avail. Then I realize why not. People are looking at me. I guess that, even in my dreams, my logic still (somewhat) prevails.

I wait for everybody to look away, and then go *poof* again.

My gym teacher, telling one of my other teachers about my invisible shenanigans, turns towards where I was, and realizes I've gone invisible again.

The dream now devolves into him trying to touch me to turn me visible again, and me barely avoiding is flailing arms.

I wake up sometime during this little game, but with a massive smile on my face.

I.

LUCID.

DREAMT.

FUCK YEAH!

(Once more, thank all of you for helping me to this point. I hope I'll be going fully lucid soon, and maybe meeting some oneironauts out there in the dreamscapes.)
