My mom and brother both said that they learned how to "continue dreams." I eventually learned how to myself, and managed to entwine this process with DEILD (Dream Exit Initiated Lucid Deam). Here's a tutorial on DEILD: DEILD Tutorial - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views |
I have 3 dream signs i might have - from 6 short dreams in 2 nights : study places - birds - food |

Yes you had a layer 0 minor, then a layer 0 major. That's really good, those types of dreams are quite often precursors to having a full fledged lucid dream. |
I now had a dream - dont bother reading cause its all messy |
Well you began questioning reality in your dream, and whatever layer you want to call it, it's the beginnings of attaining lucidity, so well done! |

So what i do now is : |

Hey yuvyuv. Part of the purpose of the day journal is to help improve your memory, so I think it might be more helpful if you try it over the course of a week or two. Most methods take time to work. One of the mods, fOrceez, suggested to me that you should try a method for 3-4 weeks before giving up. Some people can notice instant results, but most people need to work a little harder at LDing in order to get results. |

MILD - mantra using keeps me awake - so someone explained to me in the chat its about a thought and not the word and i should imagine myself doing an RC - so that isnt really a mantra thats imagination right ? - i will try it maybe |
Yeah, I found that mantras would also keep me up. I started doing my mantras right before I go to bed, instead of in bed. Sometimes I still do it while I'm laying in bed though. You're right, the technique suggested to you isn't a mantra, but it's still often used in MILD! It's dream incubation. I like dream incubation myself, I hope that works well for you. |

To fit your schedule best, you may want to just go for daily awareness, plus DILD. And get back on your normal sleep schedule. |
just want to update what i do is mindfulness all day which i allready wanted to do - i think its like ADA (all day awerness) that you can read about here in DV and i keep doing RCs and the dream journal |
Hey yuvyuv, I hope that you are practicing mindfulness successfully! You're right, it will definitely take time to work. It's also pretty tiring to try to be mindful/aware for the entire day if you're not used to it. It's good to take a break if you feel overwhelmed by it. |
