That's great, really glad to hear it, TruMotion. I've also had good success with day-journaling.

I've heard competing ideas on why it works. One is that the journaling process helps you catalog the day's events into long-term memories, leaving less of that work to be done during sleep.

But I tend to go with Xanous' theory. The need to journal what you've done that day seems to really amp up overall awareness.

Keep up that momentum with your recall! Three full dreams is a great result.

Last night, I had another of those 'hallucinations' I had a couple nights ago. This time, I thought I was at my computer, and heard my dad come in the kitchen's door, though I'm not sure whether the doors sound was my imagination or it was for real. I panicked a little because I was sure my dad would yell at me for being in the computer till so late. Then I realized I was actually in my bed, felt relieved.

These little dreamlets of yours are amazing. Are these still happening right during your first bedtime? Still not after WBTB? That's really striking. I've just never heard of anything this strong except on the borders of REM. The brain is full of surprises.

Hey, you do get plenty of sleep, right?

I sometimes I get really strong hallucinations just before falling asleep at the beginning of the night. Maybe it's normal? Maybe it's REM rebound? I'd like to know more about what you are experiencing too. I'm just curious.

Yeah, I get at least 7 hours of sleep a night. Man, I don't know if it's normal, but it's awesome. the feeling I get when I 'wake' up from it
And yes, I do get this just before I fall asleep. I'm also curious about this. I'm really glad you're actually interested in this, I'll keep you guys updated

      Cool!

I have been able to "play" with it a little. It can almost be a good as a lucid dream. Sort of like a really involved day dream but your not completely submerged in the dream and it only lasts or a few seconds.

Is that sort of what you are talking about?

Nah, I haven't yet had the oportunity to do that, but that sounds epic. It's really like a daydream, but way more vivid. Whenever I realise it is a 'daydream' I automatically snap out of it. But it is possible to control your daydreams with some training, maybe this works the same way?

Well I don't know. I just like to practice visualization as part of some Dream Yoga stuff I work on from time to time. I don't think you can actually have a proper lucid dream at the beginning but it's kinda fun.

      Hi guys,
Today I had, by far, the most awesome lucid dream I ever had. I had really good dream control, and it was really vivid.
I had a fight with a DC in which I created an enormous pink tornado to fight the storm he had created. Really neat.
Also, I have been practising ADA, and my last two DILDs were resultant of it, I guess.

That's kick ass dude! I can't wait to read you DJ entry. And YES! Awareness is the key. Can't you tell us exactly what you do for ADA? I know what it is but I'd like to hear your method. Does it ever make you feel mentally tired?

Thank you! I won't write it on my DJ though, I guess it's not worth it yet.
What I do is, I set alarms to play throughout the day, every hour or so, and then do it for like 5/10 mins. I try to notice everything. It doesn't really tire me mentally, but there's only so much I can be aware of, if you know what I mean. Like, if I try to be aware of too many stuff, I start losing track of the things that I was first aware of, so now i'll have to keep it limited. I try to be aware of the clothes on me, my breathing, blinking, how my tongue is sitting unconfortabely on the back of my mouth, every sound that sorrounds me, how other people are moving, how their lips move, etc.

Very good I like it. I use alarms sometimes too. It helps to have a reminder. Sometimes I go several hours and realize I have been totally unaware for way too long.

Why not write it in your DJ? Every dream is worth it in my opinion. If you don't want one online then have one offline. It's really awesome to go back and read them later and able to relive them.

I do have an offline DJ. I'll start posting them online when I get better dream control and all.
