So glad you had that first lucid! I read about alot of firsts in this class, so I'm glad it's working for folks

How have the last few days gone? Recall still treating you well? Inquiring minds want to know

My recall is as bad/good as ever
basically I recall up to 3 dreams if I'm trying and usually 0-1 dreams if I'm not.
I tried to WILD without getting to bed with the sound of my laptop being on next to my bed as an external anchor. Well... next time I better get out of bed for a little while before I try

On another note I've never been as confident about lucid dreaming as I am now!
I'm quite busy at the moment but even though I don't have a lot of time and energy to invest in lucid dreaming I believe I'll have more lucid dreams soon. Finaly experiencing a lucid dream feels like solving the last piece of the puzzle. I have known for quite a while that I probably couldn't get a lot more knowledagble about lucid dreaming without experiencing it. That's why I made sure to take note of all the sensations and stuff while in the dream. And that's why I feel so confident that not only will I soon experience more DILD's but also will I be able to WILD pretty much on demand with some practice and figuring out the timing of wbtb etc.

Oh and my ADA is improving naturally simply because I've taken a liking to being more aware of my surroundings
I think it's extremely beneficial to not see it as a necessary chore.
      I wanna be a rockstar
      And I wanna lucid dream
      Guess I'll just start
By playing music in my dreams

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

Gonna read "Exploring the world of lucid dreaming" now. And I will start trying to priortize lucid dreaming a bit more. I can feel my second lucid dream sneaking in on me!

      Such a classic.

If you have the print edition, I find that it's great to read LD-related material during WBTB. That stuff tends to really get into my head and influence my dream content later. Even if I don't become lucid, I'll frequently get close and/or discuss lucid dreaming with a Dream Character at some point during the morning. Throughout the reading, keep pausing and think, "I'm going to do this. I will realize that I'm dreaming." It gets kind of exciting after you do this a few times. LOL.

However, if you are reading on a computer screen or Kindle, it may be better to avoid that much bright light (especially blue wavelength light.) Although there are ways around that if, like me, you are unafraid to wear dork glasses during your WBTB.

      Back!

      Woot, back again.

Been a long time since I last did any kind of work towards lucid dreaming. I've had 2 LD's in the meantime (meantime being like 8 months or something).
In the first one I just flew up in the air and woke up immediately. In the second I actually tried to do some dream stabilization but not successfully at all.
I see the fact that I at least tried as a step in the right direction though.
Anyway just posting here to say I'm gonna get my sleep schedule in order and write in my DJ again.
Small steps, don't wanna run dry again.
Mainly doing this for better dream recall anyway (I really enjoy dreams!)
Somewhere down the road I'll probably go for lucid again, right now any DILD's are "just" gonna be a welcome gift of awesomeness

Guess I'm really writing this in order to somehow get a sense of responsibility to actually do this stuff.

      Over and out.
