Hi, I'm YoursTruely and I'm looking for likeminded people to explore the magical realm of dreaming.
I've been interested in dreaming for some time already but have yet not reached out to other people that share that interest. I had one person in my life with whom I tried to form the habit of dream journaling, but she bailed out and now I'm a bit gasping for some motivation.
Reality Checks:
- The one I'm most partial to is plugging your nose while trying to breath through it. I have been doing it occasionally. But I haven't yet developed this kind of relationship where you do the reality check after something specific happens.
Dream Signs:
- Sking. Being in the mountains. Snow.
- A person of authority requesting me to do something absurd/being really wrong. Usually a teacher.
- I had maybe four dreams somehow related to New York. Going to New York, being in New York, etc.
Short-Term Goals:
- To have a somewhat stable worry-free lucid dream.
- Meditate in a dream.
- Create something re-occurring. An item, place or a person.
- Share my dreams with other people.
Long-Term Goals:
- To remember at least one dream every night and write it down no matter what.
- To try to somehow connect dreaming with some creative activity. For example, composing a song based on my dream experience or writing a short story in similar fashion.
Lucid/Dream Recall History:
I had a couple of lucid dreams through my life, but they were all extremely frantic and although I was aware during them there was nothing lucid about them. Basically it was like those sterotypcial scenes in the movies where superhero discovers his superpower and has yet no control of it. I had a similar dream to that scene from Iron Man where he tries to figure out how to use his flying boots and has a problem with figuring out how much force to apply and is consequently flying idiotically around the room. In my case I just became lucid while hovering and spent the rest of the dream flying into a wall. Other time I was flying through space while nervously holding on a carpet that was my method of transportation and the only thing standing between me and the void of the universe while strange figures (Hitler, Stalin, Chaplin, the usual) were appearing from thin air without rhyme and reason while loud circus music was being played. I was a bit too overwhelmed with stimuli to do something with my awareness. I guess my mind is very far from being a peaceful place.
I used to hardly be able to remember a dream, but then out of blue it changed and I remembered a great deal nearly every night. I think it was because I really wanted the other person I was doing this lucid dreaming to have a lucid dream. And it somehow got my subconsciousness to remember that remembering dreams is important. After she bailed out I stopped writing down my dreams. But I really wish I didn't and I'm here to get back on track.
I still can recall quiet a lot of dreams the minute I wake up but if I don't write them down they are gone forever. Sometimes I even feel like the dreams are bugging me to be written down and I feel bad that I'm not doing it.
Current Technique:
I really like that All Day Awarness thing and I really think it's the way to go.
I'm just focusing right now on having the best dream recall I can. I feel that if I get to know my dream world really well it will be easy for me to turn lucid. I want it to be a familiar and easily recognizable place. So for now I'm just visiting it and gathering information about it and keeping it in my dream journal.

I made my first entry into the dream journal here on Dream Views so I guess I already accomplished my first goal of sharing my dreams with other people but hopefully I will continue beyond this point.
I am a bit sad because I always have this thought in my mind that dreams are supposed to be this creative escape from reality where anything can happen but so far all my dreams where influenced a lot by my waking life.
Also, It's kind of embarrassing that 70% of my dreams are about arguing with a teacher in primary school while in real life I'm a 22 year old guy.
I feel like I abandoned myself for a long time and then came back to myself and all I can see is a big mess. I feel like I want to lucid dream to just put everything in the order and tell the people of my mind that the boss is back.
I'm waking up a lot of times during the night for really small periods of time. And all I do usually during such a waking interval is to write what happened in my dream. Sometimes I even forget that I have written something during the night and I'm really surprised that I have written something.
Those teacher argument dreams might actually be your ticket to lucidity, so you should view this as an opportunity rather than something to be embarassed about.
Start writing down in your dream journal next to the dream that this was a dream sign and next time you will know it's a dream. Think about it or repeat it as a mantra during the day - i.e. "I see teacher X, I will realize I'm dreaming". Keep it up till you see some results.
Thank you for your suggestion regarding using my dreams where I argue with teachers for something good.
Should I just whenever I feel like it say in my mind: "When I see teachers. I'm most probably dreaming"? So far I kind of thought that the way you use a dream sign is that whenever you see something reminding you of your dream sign in real life you do a reality check.
What should I do with dream signs that never happen to me in reality?
I had one or two dreams where a teacher would make me do something stupid and I realized what he wants me to do is stupid and I confronted him about it but I didn't gain lucidity. It was very satisfying though. And it was a lucid-like realization.
I have been reading around DreamViews and I found Hyu's dream journal entry about creating persistent realms. It seems really exciting. I guess if I had a really very far off goal it would be to create my own persistent realm.
I had four nights in a row with dreams I documented here in DreamViews. So I'm keeping up with my long-term goal of remembering at least one dream every night. I hope it lasts.
I guess I could also add worrying about my musical ability to the list of dream signs.
Also I think I want the persistent thing from one of my goals to be a cat. I want to call him Lautrec. I don't know how well I will do with creating something with intention rather than haphazardly. So I will put him in brackets for now.
So If I get lucid any time soon my course of action will be as follows:
1. Calm down and stabilize.
2. Just sit still and observe. (aka meditate)
3. Try to summon Lautrec.
I'm going to cross out sharing my dreams with other people from my goals because I kind of accomplished it and put in maybe sharing 14 dreams on DreamViews.

You can think about dream signs at any time of the day. If your dream signs appear in waking life, then you should acknowledge this and wonder whether it can be a dream and possibly do a RC. If none of the dream signs are present, then you can recite a mantra whenever you feel like it.
I didn't share my dreams one day on DreamViews because all of them were kind of fragments and I woke up a couple of times during that night with the feeling I had a dream but I couldn't recall it. It was the most annoying thing in the world. I think it was one of the nights where I woke up the most. It was nearly every two hours. I think it was because I spent 100% of that day playing witcher 3 and it made my usual awareness diminish and I couldn't really collect my thoughts and I was a bit restless.
Still, I have 7 entries in my DreamViews Journal and in my goals I wrote down that I want to get 14, which means I'm half way to my goal. Probably will go further than that after that.
I had one nice dream with cats. I think it was because I kept thinking about that cat I wanted to summon.
Spoiler for My Dream About Cats From My DreamViews Journal.:
I dreamed that birds took over the realm of cats. And the birds wanted to see if the cats are cultured at all and they directed the cats to show their books but the birds were too lazy to investigate on their own a bit and decided the cats have to vote on what piece of literature of theirs represents them the best. But birds weren't actually able to read and where just pretending they were smart. Most of the cats where like we shouldn't even bother. But one female cat was really into literature and hoped that the literature will change birds and the cats carried out the voting but the voting was a draw and that female cat that was really into literature decided it will be some cat's poetry. And then she thought that all the birds will have to read it but it wasn't the case the birds delegated only one bird to read it. The cat was delegated at the front of bird judges and said that the book is really important for cats because it talks about mice. The bird judges where dressed in judges clothes. Also the bird delegated to read the book was real moron and destroyed the book rather than read it. Also for some reason cats where smaller in size than birds.
I'm still not quiet sure how to use dream signs to gain lucidity.
I had a couple of half-hearted attempts in what seems to be called I think WBTB. I mean I woke up in the middle of night and wrote down my dream and then went to sleep again but trying to sustain my consciousness, but I just ended up falling asleep. Also I feel a bit like my dream recall suffered a bit when I had another thing to think about at night. I think I just prefer to pay attention during my waking life to everything and keep writing down my dreams. I feel like this WBTB puts me in too much of this kind of mindset, "I need lucid dreams, right now!". And I'm not really in a hurry and I think it makes me actually less likely to have lucid dreams.
I think I will have to add some reality check before writing down my dreams. Because I kind of remember that I had a couple of dreams where I had a false awakening and I proceeded to write down my dreams to than wake up for real and not have them written down which is massively annoying. It's hard to write them down just once but twice is way too much.

You're doing well so far. Keep writing down your dreams. To be able to identify the dream signs, look at key items such as people, places and objects. It is best to underline or put those in bold so that they really stand out when reading your journal entries. After a while you will be able to identify more dream signs or categories of dream signs. For example, I have the category of classmates, which includes all the kids (now grown ups ) from my school. So, if I see any of them, it's a dream. I usually turn this into a mantra "I see person A, I realize I'm dreaming", but you can configure this any way you like. The important thing is to think about it and also get the message accross to your subconscious.
Your dream about cats was really cool, almost like a short story.
Hey, I had my first lucid dream since joining DreamViews. However, It was a bit of a negative experience, but I'm glad it happened anyways.
Spoiler for My Lucid Dream from My DreamViews Journal:
Non-Dream, Non-Lucid, Lucid
I was in void and feeling anxious. Then I realized that being in void isn't a very natural thing for a human being and I turned lucid. I got a bit scared that I'm lucid in the void. However, I figured out that if I'm feeling such an intense emotion in a dream that means it's a stable dream. I decided I want to get out of this place and I kind of turned the anxiety to a vehicle that allowed me to get out of the void and I was sucked through some keyhole to my bedroom. I had a tablet in my hands and there was some character creation screen on it. There was some cartoon character that was rotating like a chicken that was being prepared to be eaten. Also everything was black and white except the screen of the tablet and it was dark in my bedroom. I remembered that I wrote that when I will lucid dream I want to just sit and do nothing and deepen my stability. However I felt a bit anxious and I suddenly felt that if I don't move I will loose the dream. Then I heard a loud sound and it felt as if somebody was coming for me. It was like a rescue squad but I knew they had bad intentions.
I think it didn't fulfil my goal of having relatively stable, anxiety-free lucid dream and I didn't really meditate so there is that.
But It was nice to experience again how real that things feel.
I stopped writing in my DreamViews Journal a bit because all of my dreams recently can be written down in one line and also I always have to edit what I have written if I want to put it here in DreamViews, which is a quiet a lot of effort. Still, it's pretty rewarding, but sometimes it's hard to see that.
I have 11 entries in the DreamViews Journal and I made a small goal of getting 14 there so there is only 3 to go. It's not much.
Yeah, also my motivation kind of fluctuates.
It's kind of hard to write down your dreams when most of them just tell you, "Man, you are feeling kind of bad" by elaborate means. It's like I would prefer to not know that.
I'm forgetting to do the nose plug reality check. I think I do it about 20% of times when opening my laptop. I should work on that.
Spoiler for My Current Workbook:
Reality Checks:
- Every time I open my laptop I do the nose plug. ( You need to do it you are not doing it! )
Dream Signs:
- Sking. Being in the mountains. Snow.
- A person of authority requesting me to do something absurd/being really wrong. Usually a teacher.
- I had maybe four dreams somehow related to New York. Going to New York, being in New York, etc.
- Worrying about my musical ability.
Short-Term Goals:
- To have a somewhat stable worry-free lucid dream. ( Well, at least had one )
- Meditate in a dream. ( Been close, but not realy )
- Create something re-occurring. An item, place or a person. (Preferably a cat named Lautrec)
- Get 14 entries in DreamViews dream journal. ( 11 / 14 )

Congrats on the ld, YoursTruely! Is this your first lucid experience in the void? You handled the situation really well. I think it takes a few of these void experiences to really start feeling comfortable with it. One way to think about it is like a short blink or pause before the next scene appears - just like in a movie. By nature, these little pauses exist right before and right after a dream scene. We usually become lucid in the middle of the episode, but on this occasion you became lucid right at the beginning. It's great that you managed to become lucid at this stage and were actively involved in the dream afterwards.
Yeah, I think it was the first time something like that happened to me.
Interestingly enough, I had another lucid dream this night and I became lucid in the same fashion.
Spoiler for My Lucid Dream from My DreamViews Journal:
Non-Dream, Non-Lucid, Lucid
I found myself in the void again and realized that I'm dreaming. I somehow felt as if I was in the void and also felt my physical body a bit and I figured out that I have to let go to go into a dream. I felt as if my physical body was going downwards and going downwards it looped to come back from the up to go down but in the reality of the dream. I found myself on the bed and I thought that I dislike this environment of my bedroom and I want to go somewhere so I rolled on my bed thinking that it will lead me somewhere and I appeared in a room where floor was made of naked women. Like it was a bit arousing but a bit horror like too. Then I found myself in some post-apocalyptic scenario being chased around by sexy naked women zombies. I was running away a bit but then I figured out that I could take advantage of the situation. And decided to be devoured by sexy naked women zombies. It was somewhat appealing but not really. For some reason I got this idea in my mind if I will think about something not happening it will happen and after a while I managed to change the women into actual women and not zombies. But then they started to age. And it was sort of okay to some point. They were somewhat attractive to some age and fitted this stereotype of sexy older women, but then they started going beyond that point. Also I felt as if I was being observed during this whole thing by some guy I thought that was like some private investigator type of guy. And I felt as if he was thinking, "Yes, he is giving in. He is doing exactly what we want him to do." Then I started loosing the dream and I thought that I need to keep plugging my nose to know for sure that It's not a false awakening but eventually I reached the actual reality.
Again, It wasn't a relatively stable, anxiety-free lucid dream, but I at least explored some environment that wasn't my bedroom. Also, whenever I have a lucid dream I get motivated to have more so that's good.
I think I probably should refrain from trying to have any sexual activities in my dreams right now. I think it would have gone much better if I focused on maintaining stability or something. And anyhow it would have been more enjoyable if I made the dream more stable.
Also, in the past I remember having one lucid dream where I got really anxious during it that I won't remember anything from it because it was getting too long and I decided to wake myself up. During the one today I was getting a similar feeling but I figured out that it's better to just enjoy as it happens and then I will worry about not being able to write it down. Anyways, it's odd but whenever I try to write something down that happened I have this believe that I will do it badly but when I do it I start to remember things I wouldn't otherwise.
I reached my goal of 14 Dream Views Journal entries so I'm going to change that to 25.
I remembered to do the nose plug during a dream so that was a little accomplishment.

Congrats on the ld! Really interesting you got lucid in a similar way. I'm wondering if more of these are to come.
I'd suggest for future lds to select in advance something you want to do. That way, you will be more focused on what you want to achieve and hopefully less likely to get distracted by creepy stuff. Overall, try not to expect anything of the sort happening. By the way, I also used to have a tendency to summon creepy stuff, especially in the beginning. With more practice, I learned to control and contain myself and the montly tasks of DV helped a lot too.
I had another lucid dream, but it was again short and anxious:
Spoiler for My Lucid Dream from My DreamViews Journal:
Non-Dream, Non-Lucid, Lucid
I found a sword laying in a playground. It was like the kind of sword Cloud from Final Fantasy VII used. I picked it up because I was worried that kids would play with it or trip over it. I found some teachers and told them about it, but they were uninterested and told me to deal with it myself. They said I could take it to school but it will be hard to enter it today. I went into the building and saw in a corridor my real life teacher from school before high school. I realized I was dreaming. I looked around and I somehow focused on my hands and made them quiet real. I saw that the stairs were made of stone. My heart started beating a bit faster but not as fast as usual. I decided to sit down and deepen my lucidity. Instead of standing still I started to hover, which made me a bit panicky. I started loosing my lucidity but then calmed down and regained it a bit to then loose it for real. I think it was because I started thinking about my real life body.
This time no void. The teachers are staring to work.
I was a little bit more confident this time but it's still far from ideal.
You know, I kind of told myself already that when I will lucid I will try to just sit still and try to stabilize, but it's not working very well. Sometimes I just am thrust in some strange environment that doesn't allow me to sit still. Also, I keep having this strange sensation that I need to move in order to not loose my lucid dream.
So far the issues that I have with maintaining my lucid dream are as follows:
1. I'm afraid that I won't remember everything when I wake up so I wake up myself.
2. I'm afraid that my physical body will move and I will make fool of myself.
3. I keep thinking about my physical body.
4. I get too excited and my heart starts racing.
5. The dream is too exciting, which makes my heart race.
6. I feel that if I don't engage actively in the dream I will loose the dream, so I can't really just sit and observe details and try to deepen my stability. But If I engage in the dream too much I loose lucidity. Jesus Christ!
7. I don't believe I have control.
I'm also on my 18th DreamViews Journal entry and I have been having dreams for 7 days in the row. Although, last night was close because I only had one dream, but it was a lucid one, so there is that.
I started to do some little mantras when in bed. I say, "Remember" over and over to remember my dreams. "I am lucid" to have lucid dreams and "Teachers Lucid" to try to get in my head to question reality when seeing teachers. And sometimes I try to WBTB a bit, but I'm not entirely sold on it.
I'm going to tidy up my workbook and erase all dream signs except the teachers one because that's the most important one. The others don't show up that much. And re-do my goals a bit. I will add a goal of just asking a dream character, "Where is my cat?" It will be easier to do than the goals I have right now.

It's good that you have written a list of all your concerns and now it's actually the time to throw it away. It may be the case that you are thinking about those things too much which is precisely why you become anxious. And then you are worried about becoming anxious...so the way to stop it is to break the vicious cycle. I think you are doing really well with induction so far, and with more practice things will start fall into the right place. Hence, no need to worry. Just enjoy the ld moment and the rest will take care of itself.

LET'S GET NAKED
I was in a shopping centre and some girl was bothering somebody to have sex with her. She was saying, “My mathematical friend is ready for me.” The way she said it was as if she was speaking through the speakers in the shopping centre and it was a bit hypnotizing and her voice was a bit disconnected from her as if she was on drugs. She got naked. All the people in the shopping centre were getting naked and I saw some rather heavier man in all his glory.
I realized that I’m dreaming. I saw a girl in red clothes and I woke up.
And the other one was more satisfying and I felt more in control:
Spoiler for My Lucid Dream from My DreamViews Journal:
Non-Dream, Non-Lucid, Lucid
BULLS AND SHOWERS
I was returning with some friends from a trip and accidently went to a place where bulls would chase people. A woman with us was really anxious and I told her that she shouldn’t be because I could save her from the bulls. I then lifted her and climbed with her to some highpoint to demonstrate how easily is it for me to save her. As I came down the place turned into unisex place where you shower.
I realized that I’m dreaming. I walked around a bit and it felt alright. I got a bit anxious that I will forget the dream before I wake up so I just slowly recapped in my head what happened. I started to think about my physical body, but I remembered myself thinking how I shouldn’t do that and I said to myself okay I guess I have now only this dream body and my lucidity deepened and everything looked very real. I was thinking about maybe trying to have sex with one of the ladies around me but I decided against it. I also thought about maybe exploring some other environment than this place, but then I just thought I will stay here. I walked in circles around the place and kept touching walls thinking about how real it feels to touch them.
I got 25 entries in the DreamViews Journal. I got myself a blog on the web where I share my dreams, but it's still private. I'm thinking about reaching 7 journal entries on it and making a facebook page for it then. So far I have 4 entries on it. I'm sharing the same things that I share there here, so there is that. I think I will be trying to show more people that blog when I will accumulate 30 entries there. So, I guess my goal for the number of entries right now is 56.
Since I set up that blog I'm trying to make my dreams easier for others to read, so that's the plus of it. I'm also thinking about making that blog something more, but it's still too soon to be thinking about it.
On the other hand, now I have two places where I have to format and edit my dreams, which is a bit daunting and time consuming, but perhaps it at least reinforces in my mind the fact that dreaming is important for me.
Also I think the lucid dream I had was somewhat stable, so I think I will be now aiming for just a stable dream.
And I'm not really doing the mantras so I guess I will cross them out. I'm still depending on really good recall and trying to be as aware during the day as it's possible.
I'm forgetting to do the nose plug. I will have to remember that. I'm not sure about my goal of asking a dream character, "Where is my cat?" but I might still do that. Maybe I should think of some better goal.

Congrats on the lds, Yoursrtruely! It's great that you are inspired to think about your dreams because of your expanded activities. I think that going over the entries can be very helpful for prospective memory and ultimately lding. I sometimes find myself pondering in dreams or making statements like "I dream of this.." which usually is a state on the verge of lucidity, closely related to dream sign recognition. So looking forward to seeing how the extensive journalling affects your dreams.
I had two lucid dreams during one night. I'm starting to feel like I'm getting somewhere with this. ^^
One was really weird though:
Spoiler for My Lucid Dream from My DreamViews Journal:

SHEEP ON A DRUG TRIP
I was a sheep playing football with foxes. Something happened but I blacked out for a while. One of the sheep in our group after most of the foxes went away had a rage attack and accidently killed a fox. It was particularly bad because it was a fox trader. Someone that traded things with us, which benefited us greatly and It would have been a big scandal if foxes found out. We came back to our house with the corpse and we decided to eat him, but our house was observed by foxes. So we had to stay away from the windows. Then, suddenly I had really strange body sensations.
I realized a bit that I was dreaming, but I think this whole thing could have been like very advanced daydream and I was entering the dream now while being aware. I felt like I was inside a kaleidoscope and I lost a bit sense of self. I thought I was a light pattern. I arrived to some dream but my sense of my body was scarily weird so I panicked a bit and wanted to wake up. I woke up slowly and for a second I couldn’t move and I thought that maybe I’m in some sort of sleep paralysis or something and I knew that one needs to remain calm and just wait in such a situation so eventually I woke up. It could have been just a dream, though, I’m not sure. What was weird was that I remember being awake and checking the hour before all this happened and after it happened. And it all lasted 10 minutes and I thought it would have been much longer. It was an early state of sleep after one micro awakening.
But I feel quiet proud of how I handled the other:

I had a couple of fake awakenings where I wanted to wake up and wanted to write my dream on my laptop, but my laptop would keep looking like an older model or had some strange viruses.
At some point I got lucid but I kept having those fake awakings and I thought okay just let me wake up and I was trying to open my eyes but I would end up just again in my dreams. Man, sometimes those fake awakening looked so real and I was so sure that I’m going to write down my dream this time. Eventually, I gave up and thought I guess I will have myself a dream. I remembered that I wanted to ask some dream character, “where is my cat”. I saw like a little death demon that was really scary, but I thought why not. He didn’t have a mouth and his face was in constant flux changing and blue. There was something similar to a TV in his face. He was hovering above the ground. I was a bit acting as if he was an actual normal human being and we were having normal human conversation and that he is not a blood thirsty nightmare demon that probably have chased me more than once during my dreams. It was getting progressively harder as he was chanting demonic verses and breathing hard in this devilish way. I asked him about the cat and he said something demonic and pointed at some direction. It was kind of scary talking to him and I was thinking that this is going to change into nightmare very soon, but I tried to keep calm. I went to the direction he pointed. There was another little death demon. I thought “Oh, no, not again”. I asked him where is my cat. He was saying demonic things and it was getting scary, but then I heard him say, “Tomorrow.”. Then he pointed into a TV and I went into it. There was this high brow party with a lot of people in suits or evening dresses and some of the female waiters were topless. I had two guns in my hands and started shooting. Some armed people appeared and they started to shoot at me but I shoot back at them. When I killed all of them I shoot into the ceiling and screamed, “Where is my cat? God damn it!”
I'm updating my counter of LD's here on DreamViews as I LD. So, I already had 8 Lucid Dreams since joining.
I think the second one was a stable dream, but still not worry-free. So I didn't accomplish my goal in the workbook.
I did ask a dream character, "where is my cat?" and it felt good to have accomplished something that I set out to do before.
I'm not sure what else I could do that would be easy enough. I might try to befriend any random dream character I find. I will just try to be nice to him or her and then ask about the cat.
I'm on my 29th entry into the journal and going steadily at least one dream a day for 10 days already.
Spoiler for My Current Workbook:
Reality Checks:
- Every time I open my laptop I do the nose plug.
Dream Signs:
- A person of authority requesting me to do something absurd/being really wrong. Usually a teacher.
Short-Term Goals:
- To have a stable worry-free lucid dream.
- Get 56 entries in DreamViews dream journal. ( 29 / 56 ) - Ask a dream character, "Where is my cat?"
- Befriend a dream character and ask him or her nicely, "Where is my cat?"
Long-Term Goals:
- To remember at least one dream every night and write it down no matter what.
- To try to somehow connect dreaming with some creative activity. For example, composing a song based on my dream experience or writing a short story in similar fashion.
- To create a persistent realm.
Current Technique:
- Occasionally something like WBTB.
- Dream Journal.
- Being Aware.

Befriending a DC and asking them questions sounds like a good goal. Also, you can have a look at our tasks of the month (current and past ones) for more ideas.
I had three lucid dreams since last time posting here.
One where I was a werewolf/raptor:
Spoiler for My Lucid Dream from My DreamViews Journal:
I AM A RAPTOR
I was turning into werewolf or a raptor or some kind of beast as I was turning lucid. I found myself in my bedroom. I jumped out of the window and saw a gigantic toy balloon dinosaur.
During the other two I kept on looking for my cat:

WHERE IS MY CAT CONTINUED
I realized I was dreaming. I was in a bus. It was this American kind of yellow school bus that I would never see in my country. I looked around. I remembered my goal of asking politely where is my cat. I turned around to see somebody sitting behind me. Speaking in a dream is usually strange for me. It feels as if I was trying to talk while drunk. I said, “Excuse me, maybe you know where can I find my cat?” He pointed somewhere far. I saw some hills and I thought that he meant that I will find him somewhere beyond that hills. Then I asked him, “How long will it take?” and he answered, “3-4 lucid dreams.” I had a false awaking and I tried to write my dream down but was failing.
Spoiler for My Lucid Dream from My DreamViews Journal:
A STATUE OF A POLICEMAN ON A BICYCLE
I was smashing furniture in my room when I realized that I was dreaming. I stopped smashing furniture for a second, but then I thought to myself that it will be better to not go that much against the dream and I continued smashing my furniture. I eventually ended up smashing the door and walking outside. I knew it was my house but it looked not at all like my house. It was like a huge mansion. I walked down the stairs to find myself in a garden. I haven’t really thought of any new goals for my lucid dream before falling asleep and I had troubles with coming with anything during this dream so I just thought that I will continue the search of my cat. In the garden there was a statue of a policeman on a bicycle. I thought great a policeman will surely know where is my cat. I approached him and he started moving. He was going straight but had really a lot of trouble with keeping a balance and also he moved in slow motion. I asked him politely if he knows where is my cat. He said that my cat is underwater. Also there was a white fence and as I asked him I got an intuition that my cat is somewhere behind that fence. I thought that maybe I will try to get more advice from the policeman so I asked him how could I better remember what happened during this dream when I wake up. However before he could answer I started hearing some voices and I thought that they are coming from reality. I had a false awaking. I tried to write my dream down, but was failing. Until I woke up.
I haven't been writing too much in my workbook because I'm kind of doing something connected with that long term goal of using my dreaming for something creative.
I got to ask some dream characters politely about my cat, but I didn't really befriend anybody.
I guess I will cross out that goal and change it to: Befriend a dream character to help me rescue my cat.
I think I will look into that tasks of month and year after I find my cat. I just kind of need something really easy to do and that fits the description.
I'm on my 41th dreamviews entry, which is awesome. I'm also on my 22th day in a row with dreams, which is awesome, too. However, it's starting to feel a bit grindy, but I'm sort of sometimes feeling kind of excited to sleep, which is awesome.
So I guess I just have to continue with my stuff.
