Talking 1st lucid dream! Wild technique

first off let me say that determination is key! lol i was laying in my bed in sleep paralysis mode like i do pretty often and i was about to give up and bam! it happened lol.. I've been practicing for about 3 weeks now keeping up with my DJ doing RC's but none of that seemed to work.. this WILD tech is unbelievable. I tried it before but i did it wrong. its similar to the WBTB method..actually i think i mixed the two techs.. anyway! the dream was awesome! the transition into the dream was even awesome!

So I'm laying in my bed in SP mode and I see a strange face.. a womans face for a split second she was kind of like a rainbow outline of a face with hair.. and i feel my body start to shake and i mean really shake.. and then i woke up or i thought i woke up.. i actually woke up in the dream.. i was like a newborn baby.. i woke up in my bed and couldn't move for the life of me.. i was swaying i hit my wall and kind of floated back into the bed i grabbed onto the side of my bed and i noticed my hand it was balloon like lol after floating around trying to stand for a few seconds i kind of realized how to do it and i was up.. i think i jumped because i felt like i floated onto the ground (so awesome!) i walked over to my window which was so bright from the sun you could barely look out but it didn't hurt my eyes at all i didn't even squint.. and the great thing about the WILD tech is that i didn't have to tell myself i was dreaming because i already knew! so while i'm at the window i think if this really is a dream i should be able to put my hand through this window.. but that didn't work.. even though that didn't work it didn't bother me too much.. so i walk or float to my door and i open it and look around and i think, for some crazy reason, i would like to fight a lion! lmaooooooo who does this?! who tries to turn their dream into a nightmare?! anyway the lion appeared and it was so cheesy it was half cartoon and half real and it wasn't even mean or hostile.. i kicked at it then i waved my hand because i was already tired of him lol.. so THEN i figure why not try this sex thing out? lmfaooooooooo there she appeared so i walk up to her and.... i fucking wake up!! awww man i didn't even get a chance to spin around! smh anyway mission accomplished tonight i will try it again..

I just want to thank everyone for the advice and telling me not to give up and i hope my story can help people and if you have any questions i'll be glad to ask!

Awesome lucid dream man, the lion part cracked me up but it sounds like you had some fun getting around in the dream I like how you describe it "newborn baby." I have been trying to WILD lately, I'm wondering if you know about how long you were trying to induce sp before it happened? How long you were laying there and did you have an anchor? Congratulations on your first lucid, I'm sure there are plenty more to come

thanks man! yeah i swear i crashed into everything because i was trying to walk as if i were awake.. the trick was to think i was walking mixed with feeling like i was walking but mix that with the weird floating feeling and its really hard! lmaoo

hmmmm! i'm not sure what an anchor is honestly! lmaoooo I woke up at around 4:50am to use the restroom laid back in bed i want to say i was laying there for about 5-10 minutes before i felt my body going numb.. and how i check is i try to move my finger but barely and if it doesn't move at all or i feel a tingle thats how i know.. my legs always tingle or feel as if they aren't there lol but i was laying there for a long time about 20-30 minutes i know this because i checked my phone when i woke up i had received a text message at around 5:10 and sounds and things really don't bother my SP. You know what helps! i lay on my back and listen to myself breathe and usually my mind will send that crazy signal to see if i'm ready for SP.. i'll get a really intense itch! and if i move to scratch it i usually end up waiting even longer for the SP smh.. sometimes if i'm tired it comes on really fast.. but thanks again! and yeah the lion i created was soooooooooo cheesy!

      ps whats an anchor?

An anchor is what you use to stay awake.
      Counting breaths, etc.

Thats cool man so I guess your anchor would be listening to your breath. So far when I've tried I always keep myself awake with whatever I'm using for an anchor so I've been looking for something more subtle. I've tried counting breaths but maybe I'll just try listening like you said. Sweet dreams my friend

like these guys just told me.. you probably need an anchor if you are using the WILD techniques.. mine was counting my breaths.. also i wasn't truly awake when i entered the dream state.. i don't know how to explain this but i was AWARE that i was falling asleep.. so i kind of just kept thinking to myself remember you might be dreaming.. remember you might be dreaming.. but when my body started to shake is when i knew what was happening.. just try to keep your aweness until the last moment.. i kept talking to myself lol i don't think you're doing it wrong just experiment i guess.. this just happened to work for me.. OH! i saw another member say that he wrote "i will have a lucid dream, i will be aware that i am dreaming" in his DJ over and over on two pages i think.. AND thats what i did before i went to bed also! i forgot about that lol try that out let me know if it works!
